The actual hotel was fine. I wish I hadn't booked the breakfast in advance. It was cold.

Spent 4 good days here in early autumn. Only a few metres behind a lovely beach. Standard Premier Inn rooms and food. All very satisfactory.

What an awful place, service slow definitely not with a smile. Tables full of used glasses and leftover food orders, looks completely understaffed, would avoid and go elsewhere

Premier Inns are excellent value for money. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and the staff are friendly. We also choose them because of the 11pm watershed where customers are asked to be quiet so other guests can sleep. It's a good night's sleep or your money back policy which is excellent. One of the best Premier Inns that we've stayed in 3 times is this one at Goodrington Sands. It's right on the seafront with a lovely beach nearby. Theres the Splash fun place next door and a park with lake and boats and crazy golf. The walk into Paignton is very scenic and pleasant. In the other direction you can walk along the cliff path. We love coming down for breakfast and looking out at the sea, or in warm weather sitting on the tables outside. An excellent position and stunning views that change with the weather. The steam train runs past the beach and looks as though it's on top of the beach huts so another attraction for young and old alike

Sunday carvery served by chef Moses. Excellent choice of meats, beef, turkey and or Gammon. Great selection of vegetables cooked to a high quality. Good value at £11 plus Chef Moses was very friendly and courteous, he obviously loves his work! Lovely views too overlooking the bay.

I use Premier a lot for personal and business trips - this trip was booked for a member of my team for business. Hotel is as expected and location lovely by the sea. BUT parking and the subsequent service my employee received from reception was really bad, hence the review so others are aware. Hotel has parking but it's by managed/ monitored by Horizon. At the time of our stay the machine didn't work and neither did their online portal - receptions response was not willing to help and advised "wait for the PCN (parking charge notice)!!!". As we had booked non flexi we had no choice but to stay at the hotel other wise we would have moved to another hotel. Horizon is as expected, awful to deal with... and now sent four PCN's (one for each day of our stay) as we couldn't get hold of them (via phone, online etc)... apparently online (if it's working you can backdate - but this isn't the case). Of course we have now appealed as have evidence but writing this so others aware... feel like it's money making scheme between Premier and Horizon. We won't be using this hotel again. Each PCN is £57 per one, if not paid within a certain time frame its £95.00 for each one.

Great location with clean modern rooms. Excellent service this time from Emma, really helpful and went the extra mile to help.

Hotel it's self was as expected at any premier inn, but the restaurant is shocking, starter and main course served at the same time on first night, when asked why? They looked at me like I had 6 heads. Second night main course came out midway through my starter. Will not be returning, would sooner drive a bit farther and not have to endure that restaurant. Sad really because it has some lovely views.

Went with my family for breakfast. Excellent value for the cooked breakfast but the continental breakfast wasn't such good value in the fact that the choice of items is rather limited. I would have expected cheese and ham , salami etc. Coffee was excellent. Staff hard working. Yoghurt and fresh fruit selection was quite poor considering the number of people coming for breakfast on a Sunday morning. There was only 2 pots of natural yoghurt left when I went to get some. That was about 9.45am. a few more were put in by the staff but then I had the last strawberry yoghurt about 10.15 and there was still people coming in for breakfast.

Right on the sea wall and almost on the beach this is a good location. Very close to Splashdown Quay west but that was closed so not a source of nuisance and noise it may be at height of the season.

Lovely beach cafe with the best views in the bay. Great food and drink with very reasonable prices. Cash only cafe.
