Bay Cafe in Torbay

We have had two family birthday meals during January and the service has been so lovely. A big shout out to Jenny and Ariel ( Philippines) they have both gone above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy. The food was great, the view and atmosphere was lovely too. It was nice for my dad to be able to be part of family celebrations whilst in hospital 🥳♥️

The service was really good, friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. There were the classic Indian dishes, with interesting Nepalese dishes too. The momos were really fresh and tasty, and the aloo tama was of a good portion and nicely spiced. The naan was the highlight, it was different from the usual naans, and was slightly sweet and had a crisp outer layer, and more substantial than the typical.

Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s not near the seafront but better as it’s out of the busy areas. We caught the bus everyday to different places. Bus stop outside the hotel takes you to various places and are regular. Big beer garden to sit outside which is ok in the summer. Car park seems busy, a lot of people coming to use the electric car charging. Is near to a lot of big shops..

Great karaoke night here great staff cheap beer as well.. I will be back next year
