Pop into this coffee house most days, as it can be quieter than most at certain times, coffee is a really good cup, you can definitely taste the coffee here. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating and work their socks off when it gets to the busier times.

Great, friendly hosted by Anna at Sunday rainy day! I pop in between treatments. Absolutely love Cheesecake and Mortadella, Mushroom toast ;) I must admit very working in busy coffee in centre of the town!

This is a great chain of coffee shops. We have been in a few now. This one was very good with good coffee and a good choice of cakes. Staff were very nice. Being dog friendly is a bonus.

Decaffe was excellent. Not a great store for layout of tables and chairs. Numerous tables uncleared.

Great coffee and always had good coffee here however the decor is like sitting in my nans house... The staff are friendly could possibly be catering for the older generation as the one on totnes is fantastic 👏

Beautiful coffee and cake but the toilets let the place down massively. They are absolutely disgusting and can't even sit on the seat. The smell of urine hits you straight away on entry! Absolutely shocking!

As usual Coffee #1 is good around honest coffee shop , no frills, clean , has elbow room fresh air and the Coffee #1 atmosphere you'd expect, Just go on in and breathe the aroma, #1 for Coffee , Coffee #1.............

Kinda depressing because the shop is so dark, but the staff are really friendly and helpful

Needed a place to escape the rain and nipped in here. It was really lovely. The coffee was great and very reasonably priced (cheaper than the chain places and better coffee). The dishwasher was broken so they could only use cardboard cups but we didn't mind at all. Will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

This cafe is my favourite in Paignton, I always get a happy friendly, welcome. I tend to get a tea cake when I visit, they are big & tasty.

A nice coffee shop perfectly positioned in the main area of Paignton which sells a wide range of hot & cold beverages, plus a delicious selection of cakes as well as sandwiches & hot snacks, on my 1st visit I had a friendly experience & was served a well made hot drink but on my 2nd attempt I was disappointed with the service along with a very tepid weak cappuccino plus my slice of cheesecake was warm & soggy.

Was pleasant enough, only had a hot drink. There are 2 toilets on the ground floor one being a disability toilet with baby changing facilities.

Just popped in for lunch. I had a ham and cheese toastie and a large caramel latte. The coffee is always fantastic and the food was nice. A pleasant place to stop in town.

Friendly staff mellow atmosphere love the cakes and the Latte. Worth a visit.

They do really nice coffees here and the staff are lovely, however the toilets alot of the time are dirty and could do with cleaning throughout the day

Needs to hire a cleaner, all the tables and seats are dirty from previous customers, clean your own before you sit down

Lovely coffee , pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff. Awful re heated bacon roll. Save your money and walk the 100 yards to Greggs if you want breakfast. Half the price and far tastier

Lovely place to visit we go often

I had a vegan falafel and red cabbage wrap which was overpriced and had way too much onions in it. There was only one vegan product on offer.The coffee was small and not great. It was quite weak.

The drinks was excellent the guy at the counter gave us discount it was appreciated And I do recommend coming here because the drinks what we had our amazing

Oh my gosh! My daughter and I shared the last piece of black forest cheesecake. It was to die for!! Lunch was okay too. Prices are a little bit steep though if you're strapped for cash.

Got to be my favourite place for coffee in Paignton. Coffee is amazing, the cakes are always fresh and it's always very welcoming. The staff are kind and friendly. Highly recommend.

Never a bad drink from here, whether it's a tea, coffee, smoothie or something else, the quality is always great. Service is always friendly, reliable and well paced for freshly made drinks. Highly recommend the spiced chai.

Love this place. Great loose leaf tea and devine lemon drizzle cake! Staff could be a little more chatty with customers rather than each other.

Although the staff were pleasant I didnt expect to be told there were no cups available and were served coffee in paper takeaway cups even though we paid sit in prices. Dissapointing.

Very cosy and welcoming coffee shop. Coffee#1 is located short, walks from the station, and at the top of the town. It is resumbly priced with a good selection of pastries and food Quite spacious and roomy, there is plenty of seating for everyone

Good place to go for a morning coffee

Food comes out of the grill cold. Lovely, lovely refrigerated sausages for breakfast.

It was OK. Staff were lovely however, the coffee wasn't great. We all had different drinks that had different flavours and everyone got half way through thier drinks and couldn't finish them. Way too much syrup was added to the drinks. Had to leave them all. Cake was better this visit as it wasn't all dried out. Toilets are a bit of an inconvenience as you have to get a code from a staff member so, had to queue just to ask for that.

Good range of nice snacks, lovely smoothies and great coffee. Staff are always polite and helpful.

Great place to relax and good coffee

Mornings excursions this week.... Proper tea in a proper pot with an internal strainer. Properly brewed. Very rare to get that. Coffees excellent too.

I wish I could comment on the coffee!! Queued for over 20 minutes, ordered two lattes and was informed the machine was now being worked on so only filter available! Would have been nice to be informed they had decided to work on it whilst standing in the queue as everyone before me was served coffees!

Fabulous coffee and sensibly sized cakes plus lots of other savoury temptations, the staff are very helpful and friendly.
