The best restaurants in Cockington-with-Chelston Torbay South West

Went to Weavers Cottage today with my family to have a late celebration for my birthday. I had a high tea which was lovely and my family had other various items off the menu. All the food was lovely and beautifully served. The gentleman who was serving was very helpful and efficient and it was service with a smile. We are local to Torquay but it was our first time visiting Weavers cottage but it won’t be our last. Lovely outdoor setting that is covered with heaters and we even had a visit from a little robin on the back of one of our chairs. Lovely little lunch stop.

As a result of changed circumstances in my situation, I decided to try Devon Farm Kitchen in November and ordered a considerable variety of dishes. I found the service and the food provided to be excellent. The preparation is so simple. Since my first order I have made further orders trying different dishes. I highly recommend this Company.

First time visiting this place and was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff offering a wide variety of hot food, sandwiches, baguettes, hot and cold drinks at reasonable prices.

Absolutely amazing chip shop host's are the nicest people, first time meal from here and I can honestly say it was wonderful.will definitely be back.p.s the mushy peas we're fabulous.Thankyou both.

Loved it, smashing breakfast and good coffee

We stayed here one night and the stay itself was OK. We also had booked spa and massage experiences which were enjoyable and as expected since these are pricy services the spa is usually quiet and that feels good as you don’t want to be in a crowd to relax. Upon receiving our email confirmation we noticed that we also can get an afternoon tea for free and checked with reception if it will be free and then booked the High Tea. After having the tea just before leaving the hotel we ordered the bill expecting that it would be for free. Then the team said there was a confusion checked with reception abd confirmed we can leave without paying. 45 mins later we were charged £80 for the high tea per couple having already spent more than £500 I think a confusion like this should come with a concession but the hotel sopped replying to our emails after a while. So we had to pay for the tea although it was confirmed by an employee that it would be free. If you make sure of everything on paper it’sa nice place to stay and enjoy.

Good food too many chips for medium size.

Simply the best IMO Chinese takeaway in Torquay, the food is amazing especially my favorite which is the "house special curry"(I ask for extra hot) enjoy.

A lovely tea room with great coffee and selection of food. The team were very welcoming and friendly. Some nice little gifts to buy are on sale too. Its nice to sit outside in the summer too and take in the beautiful scenery of this gorgeous little village. We will definitely go back.

Best food and service in the bay.I admire the way they run the business

Has to be one of the most beautiful pubs I've ever been in. However £8.20 a pint is bloody steep.

Lovely beach cafe with the best views in the bay. Great food and drink with very reasonable prices. Cash only cafe.
