The best restaurants in Cockington-with-Chelston Torbay South West

We were in the village and chose Weaver's Cottage as a place to rest our feet and enjoy a cream tea. Seating was outside under a large shade. Service was quick and friendly. The clotted cream was the "real deal" and the raspberry jam was fresh made by the owner. Delicious! Perfect place for a respite!

Absolutely fabulous service, my father lives over 300 miles away from me, however Devon Farm Kitchen gives me peace of mind that he is regularly eating fabulous home cooked food, which he tells me is delicious and believe me when I tell you he is fussy. Thank you Devon Farm Kitchen, I can highly recommend.

We stayed here one night and the stay itself was OK. We also had booked spa and massage experiences which were enjoyable and as expected since these are pricy services the spa is usually quiet and that feels good as you don’t want to be in a crowd to relax. Upon receiving our email confirmation we noticed that we also can get an afternoon tea for free and checked with reception if it will be free and then booked the High Tea. After having the tea just before leaving the hotel we ordered the bill expecting that it would be for free. Then the team said there was a confusion checked with reception abd confirmed we can leave without paying. 45 mins later we were charged £80 for the high tea per couple having already spent more than £500 I think a confusion like this should come with a concession but the hotel sopped replying to our emails after a while. So we had to pay for the tea although it was confirmed by an employee that it would be free. If you make sure of everything on paper it’sa nice place to stay and enjoy.

Simply the best IMO Chinese takeaway in Torquay, the food is amazing especially my favorite which is the "house special curry"(I ask for extra hot) enjoy.

A lovely tea room with great coffee and selection of food. The team were very welcoming and friendly. Some nice little gifts to buy are on sale too. Its nice to sit outside in the summer too and take in the beautiful scenery of this gorgeous little village. We will definitely go back.

We had a nice meal at Mr Cooks, food of good quality, cocktails very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Unusual decor quirky in a good way. Prices good.

Has to be one of the most beautiful pubs I've ever been in. However £8.20 a pint is bloody steep.

Here for bottomless brunch with 20 odd for a work lot, Harry and the rest of the team were brilliant nothing was a bother and drinks were flowing. Thankyou so much for a lovely evening 🕷️
