The Haywain in Torbay

Has to be one of the most beautiful pubs I've ever been in. However £8.20 a pint is bloody steep.

myself and my partner we found the Haywain pub not long ago. We always have loads of fun there. The staff is absolutely brilliant to all the customers i will recommend this pub to anyone who wants a good night with friendly people. Dog friendly and even more so friendly to all customers. Feels so relaxed and welcoming.

It was a lovely meal but no coffee before they used to boil the kettle and give you an instant coffee and you could have tea but no more they are waiting for engineer to come and fix it but back log with covid I like a coffee with my meal I don't drink pop so had to have alcohol which is not good when you're driving so I won't be going back until they get something sorted

Excellent local pub open to all" I thoroughly recommend it you'll have a ball" Staff were on the ball as were the England Team that night" Rules adhered to by all no one put up a fight" A lovely all round sincerity to The Haywain each time I have been" That was only my fourth or maybe fifth time for another I am keen" The icing on the cake would be to see a revamped SIGN outside this place " Our local artist MARK hath done a few around the bay maybe here he could replace with more GRACE...... Great pub ...large...pool tables...outside seating...good sized carpark and much more. I shall go again when im in the area to again 'am sure to score'...

The new landlord has turned this pub around. Great beer and service. Limited menu but good food at reasonable prices.

Don't understand the negative reviews, such a warm & friendly pub, the people (locals) are the friendliest people you'd ever meet! to anyone whom doesnt usually visit or it is indeed your first, these lovely people couldnt do more for you to make you feel welcome! The new management are equally as lovely, IT IS NOT full of alcoholics but people who get along and care for another, also know how to have a good time...nothing wrong with that. Children are welcome, I take my little one and he has a lovely time, there is a kids play area and changing facilities too! Live events, coffee, kids play area, lovely people, lovely management worth 5 *****

Nice friendly place could with revamp i think they are starting to do food they show sports on all the time tv's in all rooms.
