Very disappointing from my perspective. I don't like spicy food but this is never an issue in any Mexican restaurant as there are always options with what sauces you add or dip etc. Most of my usual preferences indicated they had spices included so went for safe option of cheese fondue with potatoes. There was absolutely no mention of spices at all. When it came to the table the sauce was topped with spices and the potatoes were all coated in paprika. I complained to the young waitress who said there wasn't anything she could do as I had already paid for it, and then walked away. I went to the barman where you placed the orders and expressed that this was ridiculous as the menu did not indicate spices, to which he replied that everything in this restaurant is spicy and laughed it off. I spent 13 pounds on something I couldn't eat and there was no compensation or offer for something else. In all my travels of UK I have never been dissatisfied with the service provided but this was totally disappointing. There was also long waits for the drinks and when I ordered a 2 for one cocktail both were brought out at the same time. On a positive my husband loved his meal.

Fantastic meal, top service from Dion even though restaurant was busy. 2nd visit of the week as here for work, couldn’t recommend more ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best meal we've had for ages we even went back for the second night of our stay.The cocktails are amazing I'd say the best, salted caramel martini and Pina coladas are wonderful. The staff are great ( Dion,Billy Karl and Freya) although it was busy they coped amazingly well without any problems everything was piping hot and delivered really quickly would definitely go back it's a great place. Get the app and get free drinks to perfect.

Had a fantastic time at las iguanas, we live in Livermead and had never actually visited but were blown away with the level of service and fun atmosphere here. Mikey who greeted us was such a lovely host and it almost felt like we were at a friends house and not a chain restaurant, 10/10 service. In addition, Harry and billy were also fantastic and made our night, you are all an absolute credit to the team & thank you for making our night.

We came for 2 for 1 cocktails in the sunny weather, very busy with a slightly longer wait than usual but the staff were very friendly and helpful with my mother and her dietary restrictions. Thank you Las Iguanas

As we both like tapas, we booked the bottomless Tapas instead of a traditional Sunday lunch. The food was excellent, varied and very tasty . Our server , Dion, was very polite and informative , explaining each dish as it arrived . Each round of Tapas was different , enabling us to savour a proper Tapas experience which was enhanced by the service provided by Dion. Needless to say , we will be back .

100% the best bottomless brunch experience I've ever had. The guys on shift were super stars and were delivering us our orders faster than we could ask them for. Definitely left a bit wobbly but with immense gratitude for having a fantastic valentines day. Which wouldn't have been possible without the fantastic team that served us today. We’ve enjoyed eating at various Las Iguanas restaurants for many years but it seems they have all been steadily getting worse over the last couple of years. Poor service due to under-staffing seems to be the common theme and food quality fluctuates. Our visit to Las Iguanas Torquay can be summed up with the following: Under-staffed. Drinks forgotten and not brought out until the main course. Menu items unavailable. High price for average quality and small portions. We probably won’t choose to eat at Las Iguanas again. A real shame.
