Excellent tasty food, chicken & sweetcorn soup was lovely and thick, massive portion would easily do two servings, spare ribs were packed into the box tasty as!! Beef curry was hot n spicy but not too hot,again big portion delivered within 1/2hr piping hot put a fork in me I’m Done!! 🫡👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Ordered and collected staff was lovely, the currys had a strange taste and the chicken curry was really watery. The bbq ribs didn't taste of bbq wasn't very nice. The chips was a bit dry and the chow mein was lovely and egg fried rice was OK and the chicken balls was fine .

I have both ordered in person and over the phone for delivery, every time they have been really friendly and given us exactly what we ordered. The customer service is great and everyone is really friendly. The food is prepared and delivered within the expected time. If you want you’re food in time to eat, order in advance for it to arrive or be ready by the time you would normally eat.

Food was poor, customer experience even worse only used as the upton was closed

In the past 5☆ tonight 1 ☆ (if that) so I'm giving 2 to be fair as our whole order was so horrible it we binned, lot of money for nothing... we will stick to Upton only came here as they were closed

Weve just moved from Torquay to paignton, so our 8 years of eating from here looked like it was coming to an end. However trying others around our now local area, we have not been able to beat Hongs. So we now collect. They are lovely people, will adapt a recipe without a moments notice. Incredibly generous portions so the quality and taste makes this appealing. May I add that the chicken with sweetcorn soup is amazing. I am in. MY late 40s, and it truly is authentic as when I was a child and taken out, the taste reminds me of my childhood. The soup is thicker than others, lots of delicious chicken and corn. We all have different tastebuds, so really read food reviews with an open mind. But definitely give it a try.

The customer service here is poor I live in Wellswood and they would not deliver to me as they did not want to get lost, and they were recommended by friends shame lost a new customer and why have a delivery service

Food and service is second to none

Have been visiting hongs takeaway for years since they opened about 20 years ago. The owners are very friendly and the food is really nice and it's no trouble if you want to add an ingredient/take out something from your selection. Parking is easy right outside They also do a takeaway service and I think the only night they are closed is Tuesday's.

Our favourite takeaway we had one this evening, the portions are a little too generous for me. But the quality is what really counts. We have been returning customers coming up 20 years I think. Whenever we have family or find staying and we want a takeaway this is always the one. Needless to say there are never any complaints.

Terrible service had to wait 90 minuts for the food to arrive, sent it back, not hungry anymore, got fed up of waiting and made something at home, oh well saved £20 could of walked it here quicker, easy to blame the driver
