Terrific new place which both sells a large range of interesting wines and which has a few tables where you can enjoy a drink and snack. We enjoyed excellent local lager accompanied by fantastic Devon jamon. Convivial atmosphere and friendly service.

Another amazing evening at the Gateway. We were excited to try Sam's Taste of the Far East and it didn't disappoint in fact it was probably our favourite meal at the Gateway yet. The atmosphere was lovely and we felt spoilt throughout the evening. The flavours were fabulous and the presentation was another 6 star. If you haven't been then you should get on the mailing list and book for there next pop up.

A lovely little cafe in the heart of Moretonhampstead. I enjoyed a latte and toasted tea cake in the sunny garden. Friendly helpful staff.

Wheelchair friendly car park close by. Entrance over gravel or via a rough path and short slope. Nice roomy building with accessible toilets. Good food and lots of ramblers. Staff nice and friendly. The green outside is quite undulating but prettysurroundings.

We had a beautiful meal and service at the Rugglestone. I had the beef burger, which was local meat, and my partner had the fish, both cooked to perfection. A lovely warm atmosphere, Guinness was in excellent order aswell as the wine. Thanks for accommodating us. We will be back.

Every now and again we pop to Widecombe as we live too far away. It's a beautiful picturesque village in the heart of Dartmoor and at the centre, is the wonderful Old Inn. Food and service are both excellent and having walked through the restaurant this Sunday, I now realise I have to go back and try the carvery. Well worth a visit.

Stopped for lunch after walking from Lustleigh with a friend on Tuesday 26/3. She had a tasty baguette and I had the most delicious cheesy chips. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm and cosy and the waitress was so welcoming. The cakes looked amazing too. We're planning a return visit soon

Worst experience in years. Toilet reacts in bath. Single room is sold as double room. Poor service in bar and reception. Signposting to room is non-existent and staff has no time to help. Cars are placed on advice of staff in such a way that you are blocked the next morning.
