The best ‘sandwiches’ in town, although they come out as lovely baguettes. Good choice, packed with quality ingredients, made fresh while we waited. Gave us a chance to check out the deli itself, amazing cheese selection, lots of biscuits, drinks including local brews, and all manner of ingredients for the cooks among us. Would like to see more breads on sale. And they have a cafe included too, must try it soon. Quality throughout. Well done Jeremy and team.

I was here for a diamond wedding recently,The room was decorated beautifully, food was delicious and we were welcomed. I have never had a bad Meal here. Particularly lovely in the Summer as outside hotel is very pretty.

Absolutely soulless, we visited on a Saturday when the town was busy and all other eateries were full. We decided to try it as there were tables available. To be honest, when we entered and saw only 2 of many tables occupied, this should have been a warning sign. The place was deathly quiet, no music, no chatting, cutlery chinking. As for the food, it was mediocre to say the least.

Visited the House of Marbles so stopped to have Lunch. Fantastic food and service (Jade was Brilliant!!) Price was ok too. Great place for a restaurant and even has marble games outside and play area for younger children. You MUST try the Belly Pork bites - gorgeous!! Will visit again.

We decided to visit for breakfast before a dog walk on Dartmoor - selected on the basis of reviews and reputation. It was clearly busy as most tables were reserved. I know it’s a farm … but it was cold. I had a small breakfast and my wife selected scrambled eggs on toast. My reading of the menu led me to conclude that a small breakfast was a small number of items … much like other places. But I was wrong - it was the smallest piece of bacon you could find, the egg was similarly small - the size that comes in a catering size box from a catering supplier. Scrambled egg was equally disappointing, it had some square edges, I guess microwaved and cut up with a knife.

A relaxed space with quiet music to enjoy a drink, meal or a game of pool. We enjoyed the live acoustic guitar on Saturday evening. Pleasant staff and atmosphere. Free WiFi and plug socket access.

Maybe one of the favourite cafes of the exeter uni cycling club, this place is perfect for a mid ride stop for coffee, cake or for lunch. They have a great lunch menu and loads of cakes to choose from. There is plenty of cycle parking inside the cafe so no need to worry about leaving bikes outside. Great place for a pit stop overall!

My husband and I had a kebab each from here tonight. I had a vegetable kebab which I have never seen offered before in a take away. It was absolutely delicious, would 100% have again. Husband had a large doner kebab and ate it with a big smile on his face. I would highly recommend this takeaway and we will go back

This restaurant was outstanding! The food was impossible to criticise in any way. The dishes were all extremely well crafted and presented beautifully. Although a slightly limited dinner menu, it changed each day and we were still spoilt for choice. We stayed for 3 nights so enjoyed dinner and breakfast each day. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options. All the food we ate was extremely fresh. The staff were fantastic. So attentive and friendly.
