The best ‘sandwiches’ in town, although they come out as lovely baguettes. Good choice, packed with quality ingredients, made fresh while we waited. Gave us a chance to check out the deli itself, amazing cheese selection, lots of biscuits, drinks including local brews, and all manner of ingredients for the cooks among us. Would like to see more breads on sale. And they have a cafe included too, must try it soon. Quality throughout. Well done Jeremy and team.

Visited here today we thought it would be good and it certainly was. The food didn't take long to arrive and yet it's freshly prepared. The ingredients tasted of high quality, coffee was good too. We'll definitely be back. Came away with deli purchases while we were at it!

Fabulous food and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. We had superb sandwiches and coffees for lunch after which we spent a fascinating few minutes talking about cheese to Jeremy, who appears to be something of an authority on the subject. We will definitely be back very soon!

We turned up out of the blue with a group of students on a trip and the cafe assistant was fantastic. We felt really welcome and he served us all! I had a delicious oat milk latte and the students enjoyed a high quality cream tea. The shop stocks an impressive range of local and international speciality food, great for gifts.

Had another fantastic evening at Wildmoor on Friday night. Fantastic wine and delicious sandwiches / paninis. The deli boards are amazing with a vast range of lovely cheeses and charcuterie. Jeremy is always happy to give advice around the wines he stocks and we have never had a bottle that we did not enjoy.

What a wonderful place! A fantastic selection of meats and cheeses greet you as you walk in. Shelves full of preserves and food from local sources and around the world. Tried the pies which were exceptional, and the sandwiches which were delicious and filling. They offer wine pairings with cheese, several gins, and a great offering of different treats. Definitely worth a visit whether a tourist or a local. They have a small outdoor or indoor seating area to enjoy your time on site, or take away. i look forward to visiting again in the future.

Just writing to say "thanks" and to give a bit of a shout-out! This is a great deli/ eating spot in Bovey, and I highly recommend it. I get their ploughman's (and occasionally duck sandwiches) at least once a week, and they're delicious and huge! The cheese and ham are proper 'deli' quality and I love whatever chutney it is that they use. I always get a coffee too, and I can honestly say it's the best coffee in this area; even their decaf is delicious, (and that's not always the case for us decaf drinkers). I tend to get takeaway, and it's great that takeaway is an option here too. I've also purchased other deli items: cheeses, wines, coffee beans, other snacks, and have always been provided with excellent customer service to help find exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks guys and see you soon!

The orders take forever, literally 20+ minutes for a simple sandwich, scones and some coffees - even though there was about 2 people in there. The gluten free sandwich was minuscule and the bread was dry and falling apart. On the menu it states that the Ploughman's sandwich is "big", in reality, it was a child's portion. The sandwich was £8.50!

A flying visit but very pleased I stopped here. The cafe space could have done with a bit of art on the walls to cover up the purple but the coffee and quality of ingredients in my panini made up for that...as did the delightful woman working there. The shop offers an extensive range of local and exotic produce and the bread I brought home was one of the best I have tasted.

Found by accident whilst on holiday in the area. The cafe food is unbelievably good from such an uninspiring little room and courtyard. The decoy is bare, the staff extremely helpful and the food divine. The artisan sandwiches for me are great. I had local goats cheese with a ginger and something relish and salad which tasted unbelievable. All the food comes from the deli. My wife had a ham ploughmans. The pickle and relish were tasty and unusual. We ended up buying lots from the deli!!

We got various items from the well stocked deli counter and they were all delicious! They have a great range of drinks as well, both beer and wine; you can even sit and have a gin & tonic or a glass of wine! The staff are lovely too - a great place to visit! The only disappointing aspect was the cakes, which were alright but not fantastic. But everything else was!

Popped in for a last minute lunch on a cold day. Cosy area at the back of the shop though there are tables outside for a warmer day. Service was quick and staff were helpful. Food was yummy and there are a few decent choices available if you are vegetarian. Coffee was also good and soya can be used if you ask.

We've visited the "wind tunnel" on a few occasions and had coffee in the shop. Coffee usually below temperature and sugar is like gold dust. None on the tables or at a station and when requested you're lucky to get two sachets! There's some interesting cheese at the counter though.

I visited this deli while on a short break in Devon and wished I wasn't travelling back by train because I wanted to buy the whole shop! I made do with sharing a delicious deli board in the cafe with my friend (see photo). The cafe is intimate and rustic, with a great deli menu and speedy service. The staff are all really friendly and able to offer advice on all their products in the deli, helping me make the very difficult decision of which bottle of wine to take home with me. Next time I'm in Devon I'll definitely be returning to Wildmoor.
