The best restaurants in Swindon South West

Ordered from them - gave clear instructions about where to order. Gave them my address. They Cancelled my order out of the blue without calling me. I called them and they telling me they called when they didn’t. I’m not the one to scream down the phone. Maybe I should have. He told me they couldn’t find my address. Telling me two different things. Even put the phone down on me!! Now I’m walking to McDonald’s because these guys are complete doughnuts.

Probably the worst indian food i have ever had

I had 2 cappuccinos in the terrace, brought to me by a very polite man. Later when my wife joined me we, in Carries Bar she had spaghetti and I had stir-fry. Nice food and good service, only would have preferred them to be brought at the same time. Staff worked hard and food was of great value. Will come again. Michael and Tracy

I have to eat here due to work paying! My first night was terrible staff where lazy and couldn't be bothered, durty plats and glasses everywhere. 2nd night was a bit better, change of staff but still not good. Well breakfast was rubbish chef didn't put anything out till 7.20am even they say 7am! Plus then had to wait 15 minutes for eggs. The breakfast chef needs to find a another job!

Visited Jacks/House of Bun for the first time on Sunday with my son (who has been there before to sample the outstanding House of Buns burgers, in fact he brought one home for me on the Saturday evening and it was so, so good) and enjoyed a scrumptious roast beef with all the trimmings, thank you chef Josh West (House of Buns)! Thank you also to the amazing Front of House team who worked like a customer focused, friendly and efficient machine under the direction of the highly professional and charismatic Brazilian Shift Leader, Julia! Our waitress Kiki was lovely too! Thank you Jacks/House of Buns and look forward to visiting you again soon.

Was allowed a drink because of being too nice I think

Ordered two cappuccinos with oat milk, took 15mins to then have to be remade as made with normal milk. Coffee was then served luke warm but after then reading previous reviews, didn't want to mention it as I didn't want to get verbally abused by the manager. First and last visit!

My husband and I visited on a Friday afternoon.The coffee was warm ,no where near hot .Bacon takes no time at all to cook and with only four other tables occupied,all couples, I would of expected the bacon to be cooked fresh.The bacon was barely warm and was not cooked fresh.Will never visit again and on reflection that's why on a busy Friday the cafe was virtually empty.I suggest Tesco not look at the money coming in but to provide some really good customer service and products because without us there would no jobs for them.

what a pub should be, no pretence or faux jollity, beer and chat cable of keeping you on your toes always my first stop when visiting swindon
