Great place with reasonably priced drinks and attentive bar staff. Toilets need a bit more bleach i think.

Usually my wife and I attend during the afternoon at the weekends and always find it a friendly atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and drinks are reasonably priced. Good for watching sport.

The worst pub I have ever been to! Saturday night they are rude and no respect at all if you’re not a local person. especially the owner of the pub is the rudest person i have ever met! Try to avoid this pub at all costs there is a lot more better pubs around the area!

From being the best place in Swindon to the Jokes on a Friday and Saturday night, the worse 2 people run this place, rude, nasty and overall disgusting. Jokers!

Very popular old style public house. Serves a good range of beers and at very reasonable prices. Very popular with sports fans watching the many televisions of sporting events. Good pool table and darts board. Outside seating area and several booths for punters to sit together inside the pub. Live music on certain weekends with bands and/or dj's.

One of the best I've visited in the last couple of years, friendly staff, friendly locals and cheap beer including my all time favourite John Smiths

Red haired bar woman demanding me to buy a drink otherwise I wasn’t welcome to stay. Really bad service and I don’t recommend ANYONE to come here. Go to Wetherspoons for a better night out in Swindon….

Much improved refurbishment. All change for the beers at the bar. Bingo and music on Monday afternoons. Some heated snacks available daily.

Weekends here are amazing, cheap beer and the owners are very welcoming and the punters are amazing and the bouncers are amazing just one big family x

I will say; this is one of the best bars I’ve been in in Swindon. The service from Rhianna was brilliant; she was alone and managed to manage a busy group. She was amazing. She is a great bartender and I’d be happy to have her work on my team. You should be proud. Honestly, the bar is amazing. Get a chance go down.

No food service here. However they were ready to arrange it from somewhere else, which we didn't opt.

Very friendly pub to go and lots of entertainment and great drink prices, would recommend to people to go to there anywhere in town centre especially for entertainment

Absolutely fantastic pub and Absolutely fantastic landlords very friendly and brilliant attitude to myself my wife I frequently drink here and its always welcoming to entre my only moan would be to play music while sports are on TV you can watch you don't have to listen 10 /10 though

The most amazing service nothing was too much trouble kind and caring exemplary service there names were Hakima and Essaid they are the best waiting staff I have ever met would make me return just for them alone

great place. pool table and darts board. never fails to show the football matches with many screens so of there are multiple games, they play them all

Really good in-town pub, services a decent guinness.

Always busy. Mostly regulars who all know eachother but they're very friendly to newbies too! Dog-friendly. Good choice of drinks and good atmosphere. Regular events such as karaoke, sports & Eurovision shown on TV outside in enclosed beer garden, with patio heaters and picnic benches.

I'm Swedish and the security thinks they have the right to lay their hands on you, for no reason.....

What a little gem of a pub in the centre of town. Well worth a visit.

Didnt have food, bar staff were amazing, awesome band on in the evening. Good place for a night out.

The tables are covered in sticky filth you could scratch at with short nails. Cheap but is it worth it.

Awesome service and music on Fridays and Saturdays

Went in for an advertised rock gig at 9pm, were told nothing is happening at the door and confirmed by the owner, and as they played mainstream pop music, we turned around straight away.

Good selection of beers etc. Nice outside space at the back, would recommend

My drinking chum and I happened upon this pub (we were actually looking for another one) when we had time to spare before our train back to Cheltenham after an ale amble around Swindon. It was very loud and brash, although the availability of Timothy Taylor Landlord might have helped offset this - if it had been better kept! Unlikely to return and unable to recommend.

Nice pub, would strongly suggest card payments though. An increasingly large amount of people prefer or almost exclusively use cards. The Wetherspoons across the road seems to be competing aggressively by reducing their prices, which I don't really like given that this place is new and Spoons is not exactly struggling. This is a much nicer pub in many ways, but the lack of card purchases puts me off most of the time. I suspect many feel the same.

The beer is cheap & it's a nice pub.
