Chef was fantastic, very pleasant and chatty, a credit to you, The waitress ( un sure of name but had tattoos on arms and neck) we were sat in the restaurant bar area by a second station behind us, the waitress came and stood behind us and we all had the uncomfortable feeling were we being watched. we still had some food on our plates, my son went to the toilet, and my wife put her knife and fork down on either side of the plate to have a drink, the waitress cam e straight over and in a firm tone asked if we had finished and could she clear the plates, we weren't but felt intimidated to say yes, to which they were taken as my son came back from the toilet and she stated she would bring the bill.

We arrived at 12.45 was told table wasn't ready yet so got drinks and waited 1.15 we had to ask again to be told our table is ready . Food was fantastic and my family enjoyed it very much thank you Grahame

Food was cold. Meat was burnt with black on. Roast potatoes were uncooked and hard!

Driver didn't deliver, instead drove around Orbital Car Park then put as delivered. Contacted Just Eat (a hassle in itself) who tracked the driver, agreed he hadn't been within a mile of my property. Just Eat will issue a refund, but no food, unless I place another order and pay a 2nd time for a meal that didn't get delivered. I hope the driver enjoyed the free roast dinner

i checked the bag on arrival as 1 side looked open to find that the staples holding it together had been carefully removed so i think the delivery driver took it or the store removed it after sealing it shut… this is not the first time check your orders on arrival!

yuk, meat came dry and disgusting. Gammon is brown and hard as if it'd been cut and sat for a long period of time, same with the beef looks as if I've gotten the scraps

Please ensure in the carvery area there is room for wheelchair and mobility aid access without going over the barrier bases.

All had a good breakfast here. Not bad price for all you can eat. 👍🏻

Friendly staff and an amazing roast dinner with a good portion at an excellent price not like these countryside pubs ripping you for a child size plate and a poor roast dinner

Toby Carvery can always be relied upon for a good roast dinner, but the lady managing who met us at the entrance to this TC needs to learn some manners. Management could remind her that it is customers who spend their hard earning money going out for a meal who pay her wages.

Better if three slices of any of the meats, if the triple is the same price then why not? You need chairs that can be pulled in more easily, couldn’t reach the bottom of ours and they stick on the carpet pile.

I did ask for no stuffing but got stuffing. Yorkshire pudding was undercooked. I had to put them in an Airfryer for 10 mins to finish of. There was hardly no meat only a couple of very small pieces. Would have been better of getting a regular meal and dividing it into 2. Kids would had more meat that way. Would not buy again and would not recommend

Emma's Special (Banoffee Sundae) is the best ever, definitely add this to the menu! I'll be asking for it next time for sure, I hope the rest of the team know how to make it just in case Emma is taking a well deserved holiday. (It was so good, I forgot to take a picture before finishing it .... Sorry not sorry) 😁

Very helpful. The lady we had was happy to smile the manager was very helpful and did us a favour. The only downfall is the roast potatoes wasn’t cooked they was hard.

Meat is horrendous the one price I got was all fat absolutely discouraging stuffing doesn’t even look cooked all the meat is the worst part don’t even know how they can get away with serving it like that .

I love a Toby breakfast. The food is always hot and replenished quickly. The Yorkshire are spot on.

Food was hot and plentiful, had to wait for more gravy though, wasn't sure about paying, who ever seats you takes your card or cash but we wasn't told this but will know next time

The service here was excellent, dinner for 12 has never been easier. The food was delicious and it was surprisingly affordable, the app made the whole experience a lot easier. Thankyou.

Great food and excellent service and would definitely recommend this Toby Carvery. The female staff were helpful and knowledgeable of the Groupon deal and made sure we had our drinks waiting for us. There were plenty of meats including Gammon, beef, Turkey, pork and leg of lamb. This was served by friendly and polite chef. My god was there plenty of vegetables including shredded cabbage, parsnips and cabbage & sliced potatoes. My partner is a fussy eater and thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a lonely meal s and service. Shame Crawley or Eastbourne Toby Carvery can't emulate such excellent service.

The usual Toby Carvery fayre. Stood at the carvery for several minutes, no server on duty, when he did appear he didn’t apologise. The beef was tough everything else was fine. Was served by a charming girl called Tony who couldn’t have been more helpful. She went well beyond her duties in helping us access our apps to get bonus points and was very engaging

This won't be happening again... Sorry I'm so angry and disappointed with the Food delivery this morning. Quality, poor, cheap ingredients. Quantity, Baconless Bacon mostly Fat, One Greasy egg. A bucket of Baked Bean Sauce. Everything Cold and tacky. .. In our opinion possibly not fit for Human consumption. Cost being High. Our dog loves you guys.

Quite generous portion,the roast potatoes were overcooked,and only 3. Rest of meal lukewarm,even the gravy wasn't hot.It was tasty though,and would order again

We had the ultimate roast beef sandwich which was a little dry, could use maybe some lettuce, a toasted bread, floppy sandwich isn’t something to be proud of. The ciabatta garlic bread was really good, the poppin chicken was also really good. Desert is always good.

It was a specials day so the kids ate for a £1 so it was very busy!! Food is nice, it's what you would expect from Toby's. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It was extremely busy on that day as stated, the staff however were calm, polite and still provided excellent service. Would recommend it for couples, mates and families; Toby's is for everyone!

The atmosphere and staff were very pleasing, the breakfast was very tasty the only negative from the whole experience was the food could be hotter.

We was really looking forward to our roast beef was carved up by the guy behind the counter which he missed my plate and it fell onto the carvery station and he picked it up and just dumped it on the plate without saying a word which I found disgusting and most of food and gravy was cold also ants where the gravy station was so I was not very impressed and won't be coming here again. And for our carver today luke, well sir- one can only thank you for your professionalism. One could only praise your hard work- and he gave us loads of succulent, tender gammon. Thank you kind sir. Free car parking,great service and taken to seats.Had lunchtime king size carvery.Pork,Beef,Turkey and Gammon,sausages Yorkshires and all the trimmings…overflowing plate…absolutely superb food.All staff here are great,we were served by Jenny and Ryan who were really friendly and actually cared that we had a great meal

Great meal tonight, had seen mixed reviews and think the trick is to order when quiet, lots of everything and gravy, delivered hot.

You get what you pay for with any Toby carvery, over cooked, sorry, well cooked meat with bland veg, covered in a good gravey, to give it all a home cooked feel. Avoid standard meal times and you'll be able to fill up without having to cue for more than a few minutes.

Jenny was friendly and attentive. Luke and Ryan were efficient and friendly and very busy so glad to see they had a good attitude! Good food, big queue but moved relatively fast. We did book and were seated in the main entrance area, would have chosen to be further in but didn’t affect the visit at all! Lovely afternoon

The food was cold, meat dry and had some vegetables that looked like someone had mixed in. I will stick with going to the restaurant as delivery we ended up chucking it away!

Went a couple of time this year and quite a bit last year had their roster dinner the meat is good and the roster potato the breakfast buffet has lot of things like toast bacon sausage eggs beans mushrooms hash browns tomato sauce and brown sauce and more staff nice especially Emma the few times we went very clean and toilets are clean better then the one across the road

I always go to Toby as I like their Carvery the food was hot and full. However, this shop experience is too bad. Bad service from the staff without any politeness. The food is bad also comparing with the other Toby restaurant. Disappointed to have this experience for my family dinner

The Toby is the best place in Swindon for Sunday/Roast/Dinner. Our server was Jenny and she's absolutely Amazing... WE LOVE JENNY!

We visited The Friary Toby Carvery today and whilst all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the food did not live up to expectations. The Beef looked dry and not worth eating, the Gammon was very fatty, the Turkey was reasonable, the mash and vegetables were lukewarm and lacked any taste and the table knives were unable to penetrate the roast potatoes. This is not the first time that we have had a poor meal there and although the Carvery is walking distance from us, we will never have another meal at this establishment.

Decidedly average Eat as much as you like, but was not nice enough for more than one helping, IMHO. Fried Eggs all hard Hashbrowns like cardboard Most food tepid No atmosphere Friendly enough staff Don't think we will return.

The small selection of vegetables were undercooked and cold. The amount of meat we got was pathetic. The yorkshire puddings were also outrageous. The amount you charged for such a diabolical selection of food was astonishing. So you need to improve on everything. The gravy was good though.

First time visiting. Walked in waiting for a table only to witness a member of staff who I assumed was the manager having a full on argument at the bar. Not the best start. Food was good.

It's was not a great atmosphere on Friday and staff just seemed off
