Lovely little tea room situated within a craft shop. Owner and staff were very friendly and also on hand to ensure teapots we’re always topped up. Set up and food was lovely. Will definitely be returning to the Tinky Tea Rooms!

Fantastic sandwich bar. Found by chance and what a find. Food was delicious and the staff really friendly. Highly recommended.

Superb chips from here about 2 weeks ago, my Mrs says it's the best curry she's ever had in her life, and she's had some curries, trust me. Highly recommended

Ronnie's is really special. We enjoyed an 8 course taster menu plus a wine flight last week. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. There were four of us and we loved every course. The wines paired really well with each dish and it was great to see that they were from the UK, showcasing some great vineyards. The building is lovely and there's a great atmosphere inside. Warm and welcoming. Thank you Ronnie. Superb. We'll be back!

Visited for a friend’s birthday and had such a lovely time. Great selection of beers, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Pizzas were great too!

Wonderful experience at Ronnie's of Thornbury. The eight course taster menu and wine flight was superb. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We loved the UK wines which were really well paired with the dishes. The building is lovely and it's so cosy and welcoming inside. The staff were friendly and looked after us well. We will be back. I recently dined at Thai Basil in Thornbury with a party of six, and it was a fantastic experience. The owners were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The service was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our needs were met throughout the evening. We all enjoyed our meals, which were delicious and well-prepared, showcasing authentic Thai flavours. The prices were very reasonable for the quality offered. I would highly recommend Thai Basil to anyone looking for a great Thai dining experience!

Been here loads of times actually use to love the curry’s but after tonight will never go back, ordered a chicken tikka dhansak, was absolutely no spice at all, never been so disappointed in my life. Actually fuming your lucky your shut now otherwise I would be back and launch it at your face. Never in my life have I had a dhansak with no spice Bombay aloo was definitely not fresh, all clumped together, no juice or sauce. Few mouthfuls and chucked it in the bin. Lost a good customer.

A bit disappointed if I am honest I booked to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, we were put on a table in the bar where the tv was showing the football and there were lots of people in the bar shouting at the football. We couldn’t hear ourselves think never mind speak. We had to inform them of our order a day before at least, which we did but after our meal we thought about having a pudding but we were told that the kitchen is closed and we should have pre ordered puddings too, that wasn’t pointed out to us and the time was only 6pm… maybe kitchens close at 6pm these days. So we could only have ice cream and brownies which the children had. Also at least one person was sat vaping.. On the plus side everything was clean and the food was nice and nicely presented. Also food was exactly as our pre requested order, the waitresses were really nice and service was good. Yes I could have said something but as it was my daughter’s birthday celebration I really didn’t want to spoil it any further and chose to just make best of it I could.. I always tip but chose not too, sorry to the helpful staff but I wasn’t in the mood to tip considering we couldn’t hear each other speak through the cheers and some industrial language. If you choose to go to Royal George, check where your table is going to be.. We have been many times before and always sat at back in restaurant area and it was quieter….

Absolutely diabolical.. pre booked at least 2 weeks in advance, for 11 people , in absolute disbelief at how bad the experience was… and how rude the staff were … NEVER AGAIN! Absolute joke of a business… huge disappointment as I’ve been there for years but I cannot believe how bad they my have become..

£19 for a par 3, in winter, with winter tees on a Saturday is excessive. Been playing this course since a child and this is wayyyyy too much for what it is.
