Having lived off lunchtime sandwiches in London for the past two decades, I’ve had a variety of lunchtime meals. However in twenty years I’ve never had a delicious sandwich so filling I had to finish it off for an evening meal! The sandwich was incredible. No only quantity but one of the most delicious sandwiches of the twenty first century!

Butties have now provided a buffet for two of our family get togethers. Food and service is always excellent.

Can’t recommend Butties highly enough. We used them for a 70th birthday party and chose the fork buffet. So many people complimented the food. And the service was outstanding. Will definitely use Butties again.

Fresh sandwiches and toasted wraps made while you wait. I had the house wrap (cajun chicken and cheese) with extra onions and jalapeños which was very tasty! Great for a lunch break.

I love this place what a find back when I first moved to thornbury back in 2016. I am still coming here for the best sandwiches and service. Just little touches like remembering my name and how are you, then of course the consistently good sandwich’s and all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend

Honestly one of the most friendliest, welcoming sandwich shop Ive been too. I like to mix my orders up to have a chance to try all their delicious food. Salad box with their homemade coleslaw has to be my favorite 🤤 lovely little snacky bits too. Really lovely staff and clean tidy store with endless options and choices.

Butties is a great place for a cracking sandwich and a lovely chat. The staff here are always super friendly and the sandwiches they produce as always really tasty and filling. 10/10 I always enjoy coming to Butties in Thornbury.

Fantastic. Just had the breakfast box. 2 black pudding, 3 bacon, 2 fried egg, 2 sausage, loads of beans, mushrooms and bread. Everything cooked perfect. They even brought it out to my van. £6 well spent. I’m stuffed

Butties do the best coronation chicken sandwich in the world. And you have got to try the cheese scotch eggs.

A sandwich is a sandwich right? Wrong! There are regular sandwiches and then there is this place! Lovely staff who make amazing sandwiches, which is reflected by how popular the place is so be sure to order in advance or you will have to wait. They also do free local deliveries, fresh coffee and fresh local meat. What more could you want?!

Nice sandwich but be prepared for a long wait at busy times as this place seems very popular.

Just moved in around the corner - it’s a 2 minute walk to the best butties you will get anywhere! Fresh, loads of filling and super tasty! The staff are so friendly as well! Don’t go anywhere else for a lunchtime sarnie!

Popped in here for lunch as my friends said it was really good... I got there food and after looking decided to get myself a hot mushroom onion and stilton baguette... it did not disappoint- perfect amount of everything. Thank you so much- iwill return

Owners work hard to provide one of the best tasting sandwiches locally for the lunchtime rush. Also have experienced their catering at a birthday event. Plentiful and tasty and excellent value for money. Support this off the high street business and get your lunch or catering here.

Never been to butties before as I didn’t know it was there however I’m so glad I noticed it on my way home! Greeted by a really nice bloke who made me a really lush sandwich, prices were good and more than worth it for the food you get! Really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going back

Lovely Sandwiches! Great place to get breakfast rolls from too! A lovely little place in Thornbury! It is the perfect little shop to get a good quality sandwich from. I have also had pasta pots & salad pots from Butties too which have also been lovely. I used to get a ‘Butties’ sandwich every Friday when I worked in Thornbury. Friendly staff, great quality food!

A good selection of fresh and ready made sandwiches etc. Hot and cold food and a good variety of fillings. Not cheap but not expensive compared to other similar places. Good for a nice treat every so often.

Best coffee ever, lovely staff, 10 OUT of 10.

If you want a really good sandwich for lunch, look no further! The choice of fillings is endless and the bread is really fresh and uncut. The wraps are lovely too. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Give it a try!

Love Butties, previous owners were very good, new owners (although they've been there a while now!) are the same, all staff very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent can't fault any thing at all. Highly recommend

Been going to Butties for years now, and the food has always been pretty consistent to be fair to them. We always go for the sandwiches, of which there is a great choice and variety.If I had a small complaint it would be their prices are a little high and I think they're missing some trade by not opening on Saturday mornings!Overall, very satisfied, just a shame about their pricing.

Hired Butties and had long chat about what food to have, including for Gluten free partygoers. Wendy was very good at suggesting and guiding us and we ended up with one of the best buffets I have ever been too. Graham and his team laid out a mouth watering spread, with something for everyoneI’ve had many comments both at the party and since complementing us on our buffet.

Always looked after by the professional and friendly team at Butties. There sarnies are always fresh and healthy, May i recommend the Cajun Chicken. Always great Value. Keep up the good work!!!!
