After a walk at Studland, we went to Manor Farm Tea Room hoping for lunch or at least a pot of tea, only to find it unexpectedly shut again. This is our second attempt to visit recently, both times closed! Very disappointing after reading the good reviews and looking forward to the apparently delicious food. maybe next time......

Visited the bakery to get something for lunch while visiting Corfe Castle. So much to choose from including hot sausage rolls, pie's and pasties. Cakes all looked delicious and very reasonably priced. We bought a Pork Pie, 2 huge Cheese Straws, a Vienesse Finger, Cinnamon bun and an Eccles Cake and cost a shy over £7.....very good price. We thoroughly enjoyed everything....the pastry on the pork pie was crispy and very tasty. I wish I lived in Dorset near this bakery as I could visit regularly. Fabulous little village bakery with amazing home made goods.

Let me get my only real gripe out of the way right upfront. During my stay I had the Mangalitsa Pork and Vegetable Pie. It was the most bland - tasteless plate of food that I have ever eaten. Horrible. So, overall The Pig On The Beach is superbly located overlooking The Old Harry Rocks at Studland. Stunning. It is hard to find a less than enthusiastic team member. My room was very clean and I enjoyed my stay. Plenty of after dinner cosy corners for a drink although some people thought that bar prices were a little high! A good hotel.

Cosy little coffee shop to shelter from some showers on a cool June day. We ordered the Dorset Cream Tea, which was more than ample to keep us going on the climb to the castle. Staff were friendly and service was great. The only shame was the fact that they used Cornish cream not Dorset!! While having my tea my wife picked up on a couple speaking Afrikaans near bye. They were also trying to keep out of the "cold". Before we arrived in the UK there was a forcast for a heatwave. However a heatwave in the UK of 25 degrees is just a normal spring day for us. All of us got caught out and need warmer cloths. In fact we spent a number of weeks in the UK and it was the coldest June we could remember. Definitely would recommend this cafe if you are in Corfe either a stop before or after you have visited the castle.

This is the only café situated on the beachfront. They provide excellent coffee and a wide array of drinks. Next to the café, in the same building, there's a shop where you can buy various souvenirs like books, hats, and more. The café boasts a fantastic beach view and also includes restroom facilities.

This has fast become our favourite spot for a morning coffee and cake. Whether we are sea swimming, kayaking or out on the jetskis, Joe’s Cafe is our go to spot! Welcoming staff, prompt service and incredible view. They offer vegan and gluten free options and are very accommodating of dietary requirements. Be sure to check this beach cafe out. They also do a banging paella night 🍲
