After a walk at Studland, we went to Manor Farm Tea Room hoping for lunch or at least a pot of tea, only to find it unexpectedly shut again. This is our second attempt to visit recently, both times closed! Very disappointing after reading the good reviews and looking forward to the apparently delicious food. maybe next time......

Very pleasant setting and the service was friendly and efficient. We only wanted coffee, which, although very good, was probably the most expensive for miles around. Other items on the menu were also not cheap. We would probably look for better value elsewhere next time.

So for years we’ve been saying that we must try Mortons. It took our gorgeous friend Rosie Thurgood starting to work here to prompt us to visit. The Sunday lunch menu is incredible. Beautifully executed food and great value. Service of course faultless.

Visited the bakery to get something for lunch while visiting Corfe Castle. So much to choose from including hot sausage rolls, pie's and pasties. Cakes all looked delicious and very reasonably priced. We bought a Pork Pie, 2 huge Cheese Straws, a Vienesse Finger, Cinnamon bun and an Eccles Cake and cost a shy over £7.....very good price. We thoroughly enjoyed everything....the pastry on the pork pie was crispy and very tasty. I wish I lived in Dorset near this bakery as I could visit regularly. Fabulous little village bakery with amazing home made goods.

A challenging course that's rapidly improving as major changes continue with gorse and tree removal. This has added to what is already a stunningly beautiful course as you can see far more of the course. And the friendly staff in both pro shop and bar/restaurant simply augment what must be one of the most picturesque courses in the country.

Very fine old pub. Have often walked past, but never visited, until recently, when popping in with a group of five and one dog for a post-hike pint. Friendly, accommodating staff, excellent chips (can’t rate the meals as didn’t stop long this time!) and a small but decent selection of beers with some local brews too. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have lived in Corfe Castle for over 20 years and always support local businesses as much as we can. So, when our son and daughter-in-law came to visit us we invited them to the most photographed pub in the village. Booked a Sunday lunch table for 4 plus a 2 months old baby a week in advance for today, specified that we need a space for a pram near our table, which was not provided. The changing room is in the smallest restroom, but I suppose the management cannot help with that space. However, I know that there were spacious areas around that could have some space for a buggy. The men oredered beef and lamb roast which was okay, nothing special. My daughter-in-law and I had chicken roast that was very dry, overcooked, almost inedible, the gravy that came with it was extremely thin and watery, vegetables were all right. We think that price wise we were overcharged. Paying over £20 for a dish that was mostly left untouched on the plate is a bit disappointing. Service was quick, we were offered tap water in a jar, but not once asked ifnour food was all right, in the end the girl who served us told me that the service is included but could be taken off. Not to embarrass myself further I paid the full price plus service charge that came up as nearly extra £20 on top, which would be fine if you are happy with your meal. To sum it all up, what was supposed to be a pleasant family lunching experience, ended up with a bitter taste for me. Hopefully, the staff, the kitchen and the management will take into account my honest feedback and make improve matters for other diners in the future. Overall, a very disappointing experience for me and my family. We all had expected a much better experience. A local Corfe Castle resident.

The staff helpfully opened the lower room indoors for those trying to avoid the wasps in the garden. We stopped for coffee and cake/cheese scone after visiting the castle as we are regular NT café visitors. It was very busy initially and I commend the cashier on her patience and cheerfulness. The coffee and cake was of the usual NT good standard, but it seemed more expensive than the other NT places we have visited. It was the most expensive coffee we had all week (perhaps ever)! Watch out for the upright stones on the pavement corner outside. They are probably an historic feature, but definitely a trip hazard.

This is the only café situated on the beachfront. They provide excellent coffee and a wide array of drinks. Next to the café, in the same building, there's a shop where you can buy various souvenirs like books, hats, and more. The café boasts a fantastic beach view and also includes restroom facilities.

This has fast become our favourite spot for a morning coffee and cake. Whether we are sea swimming, kayaking or out on the jetskis, Joe’s Cafe is our go to spot! Welcoming staff, prompt service and incredible view. They offer vegan and gluten free options and are very accommodating of dietary requirements. Be sure to check this beach cafe out. They also do a banging paella night 🍲
