just had to pop a review on here for our experiences at Old Harry’s bar. My parents and sister were visiting for the week and we were staying very near to this ‘hidden’ gem. From the very warm welcome, to the smell of pizza and a good G&T (or 2) we spent 2 lovey evenings playing cards, chatting and relaxing. My dad enjoyed his pint. Great ambience, music to listen to but still hold a conversation in the cosy but spacious bar we felt great. Highly recommend. What an asset to Studland village

Visited the bakery to get something for lunch while visiting Corfe Castle. So much to choose from including hot sausage rolls, pie's and pasties. Cakes all looked delicious and very reasonably priced. We bought a Pork Pie, 2 huge Cheese Straws, a Vienesse Finger, Cinnamon bun and an Eccles Cake and cost a shy over £7.....very good price. We thoroughly enjoyed everything....the pastry on the pork pie was crispy and very tasty. I wish I lived in Dorset near this bakery as I could visit regularly. Fabulous little village bakery with amazing home made goods.

This is the only café situated on the beachfront. They provide excellent coffee and a wide array of drinks. Next to the café, in the same building, there's a shop where you can buy various souvenirs like books, hats, and more. The café boasts a fantastic beach view and also includes restroom facilities.

We visited 10/11/24. Yes it is expensive due to the beautiful location, & as we have visited many times before it is of no surprise. However, we were surprised to see so many tables available inside & out considering it was a Sunday. I ordered drinks, & the order was accepted by unenthusiastic staff. Having not experienced that before, i was surprised. In addition to that, their own brewed ale was not available. Pumps of their own ale turned round, offering not so local ale which was really concerning, considering they are a brewery. Next concern was a staff member coming out trying to hide her tears. She was clearly upset, & a few minutes later, she was seen to leave the pub. Food was ok...clearly microwaved, but tasty. Easy to do a Yorkshire pudding but not so it appeared as minus the air. Desert was Pecan tart & I am guessing this was not homemade as it was good. Would I recommend here...yes at this moment for drinks. Would I return yes...but if only management take a good hard look of what they offered before, & what is offered now. I do hope they look at the reviews & take stock of what needs to be done. It really is a reality check, as each time we have visited, the service & food standards are clearly in decline. Management..please take stock & listen to those who want to return.
