A lovely little treasure trove of a cafe right on south beach at studland bay. Coffee ☕️ has a good flavour and is excellently presented on china crockery. I had a cappuccino which had a lovely textured dome of milk on top 👌. We also had a couple of ice creams on cones and the Purbeck ice creams were delicious. Great flavour - we had raspberry ripple and salted caramel and were both ace. Thank you Joe’s team for a welcome pit stop!

I arrived before the cafe opened but was given such a warm welcome by Josie and her mum. The whole atmosphere was extremely friendly and beautiful. The views were that good you could have been anywhere in the world. On top of that the food was really good and not overpriced. Everyone needs to visit this place!!!!

Been coming here 15 years but what has happened. I get it’s hard times but £2.40 for a flapjack the size of a credit card is a joke. They used to be huge. It’s just oats and honey guys. Get a grip. You can make your profit on the teas and coffees. Another thing to knock off my swanage list of things to do. Plus the beach is not longer a secret it’s fully packed out. Shame.

Went to Old Harry Rocks, after the walk we stopped off at Joe's cafe South beach with lovely peaceful beach views, ordered 2 cheese burgers and an Americano and a latte £24, food and service was good, I could have had another coffee as it was small and morish, home made onion relish was yummy too 😍 would recommend after a lovely walk xxx

Be aware of unclear pricing at this otherwise pleasant cafe. Signage states ice cream scoop for £2.30 when in reality it is £3.50 whether you buy it in a waffle cone or glass jar (and a small scoop at that). Apparently the glass jar costs the same as a waffle cone as it needs to be washed up! The ice cream scoop for £2.30 is in fact an additional scoop yet this is unclear, particularly to our group of school children who thought they were being sensible with their pocket money opting for a scoop instead of a cone. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired and the term jobsworth comes to mind! A little compassion towards a group of children would have gone a long way but instead their lack of compassion means no repeat business from us.

Absolutely loved it. Just walked in to get something to eat, initially ordered one bacon and Halloumi roll, and a bacon brie and cranberry roll. It was too good, the bacon was perfect with the right amount of cranberry. Ordered a second bacon brie and cranberry roll :) My friend had a salmon sandwich and he loved it too. Not come across many beach cafes which are this good. Highly recommend.

Great drinks but service is definitely lacking. Been twice now and had the same experience whilst visiting one of our favourite beaches they are located on. Ordered a tea and a coffee for my wife and I, handed the tea straight away but had to wait 25 minutes for the coffee therefore the tea was stone cold when I eventually took it back to where we were sat on the beach! I mean, I like the fact that you get proper crockery to drink from but due to the above I won't be returning in a hurry, sorry! Tip - if you do visit, order the same drink for everyone in your party so at least you will get served at the same time! Cannot comment on the food.

This used to be a great cafe. Not now. Nowhere to sit, as tables stacked on top of one another. Why I ask? Pubs are using tables outside. Food amounts to one slice of bacon or a slice of cheese, in half a bread roll 2 tiny butties and 2 teas for £8 and standing up... Hmmm.

We popped by for a cuppa and a small bite to eat. Had the Jamaican patties, soup, and tea. All really nice. And as a bonus, the tea was Yorkshire tea. A proper brew. The woman serving that day was very nice and very helpful. They also accept card payments.

Went for afternoon tea with a friend. Car park at the rear down a narrow drive. The entrance was well directed and level access. Inside it was a homely comfortable welcome. Staff were very polite, welcoming and friendly. There are steps down to the room we were in for tea but there was a level access available. Disabled access wc available. Everything was clean and bright. Tea was amazing, choice of beverages and a nice welcome of mulled wine with a gingerbread man. We had booked a traditional afternoon tea but there is a savoury option. When we booked we were asked about dietary requirements and on arrival staff checked again they had it right. Food arrived beautifully arranged on a tiered stand. Staff explained what was there and flavours. Choice of finger sandwiches (6 different flavours), freshly baked fruit scones with pots of clotted cream and jam, selection of small cakes (5 of each). Staff were attentive and refilled tea and coffee pots without being asked. Food was very good and plentiful....we were offered a doggie bag to take some home as we couldn't manage everything. Highly recommend this for a luxury afternoon tea.
