The best restaurants in Plymouth South West

So sad to hear this restaurant is closing! Our family has enjoyed many birthday celebrations here and we have always been looked after really well. On the last occasion, Matt went above and beyond and it really made for a wonderful evening. The RWY is a very special place with a great atmosphere, so it seemed a perfect place to have a Hubbox. It will be missed!!

Lovely spot sheltered from winds if your staying on a boat. Close to all the old Barbican pubs and restaurants and the Aquarium all in walking distance.

Great food. Batter is abit thick on the fish alot.

So good!! highly recommend. Lots of vegan options although haven’t tried the actual food but the vegan cheesecake is very good!! definitely coming back

Great place to visit. The manager and staff are really welcoming. Go along and have some fun.

Went for Sunday carvery, Food was disgusting, everything was frozen food, tasteless and bland for the amount they charge some fresh veg would be nice, potatoes were awful will never go again

Never got the code which I lost the delivery driver was very helpful but I felt he was a bit concerned about me not having this code

Not much seems to have been going on here for ages. The Fandom formula was a bit niche and after being hit by a fire a year or two ago never really got back the occasional momentum it had before. The place is now in the final couple of weeks of reworking and reconditioning the interior and the the entirely new management have explained that they intend to open later February 2020 as a dog friendly bar and adjacent room serving a modern twist on pub grub classics. Sounds interesting. These premises have long been very convenient to users of the pontoons at this end of Sutton Harbour. The first restaurants on this site twenty years ago and more were very successful and enjoyable places to use.

Reasonable prices, friendly staff but even better - lovely view and right next to pretty gardens to chill out in.
