Local friendly pub, very helpful, met some really nice chatty people, owner and her daughter very helpful and friendly, made to feel very welcome, would highly recommend a visit, especially when the extension is finished,

Great selection of beers. Worth a visit

A flavour packed first visit that has left us wanting to try more! Both mains (lamb and duck) were plentiful and beautifully cooked. However, the salmon fishcakes stole the show! They were delicious, packed full of salmon and really hit the spot. This was our first visit but will certainly not be our last! A must try for those living in portishead!

We’ve used Antonio’s for years, the food and service is fantastic, such good value for the price. There are not many places like this around anymore - thoroughly recommend!

No ratings for food as they don't offer it but they have a great selection of bar snacks and pickled eggs. They also allow you to bring in fish and chips from next door

Amazing food! The early bird menu was just £19.95 for 3 courses! The food was absolutely delicious, big portions, super tasty and obviously homemade. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough….. Bellisimo!! 😘 Gracie millae!

We went here for a Christmas present date night and had a lovely experience, the staff went above and beyond to make it special and gave overall great service. The food and cocktails were also phenomenal. Thank you!

We just had our Christmas meal at Shanicatti Shakes there was 10 of us. We had Afternoon tea, it was beautiful, sandwich’s, hot pastries, scones, chocolate flapjacks, sticky toffee pudding, apple crumble…. All made fresh and presented beautifully. I have to say it was so nice to do something different that wasn’t your standard Christmas meal. The service and love and care they put into what they do is outstanding. If you want a treat please go there you will not be disappointed. Thank you Shanicattis we will be back. 🩷

Apparently as its 'Christmas' the table was only for 1.5 hours yet our order was not taken until we'd been sat for 25 minutes. This meant we had to rush our drinks and could not have a desert. Dogs also appear to now be allowed so I had to eat with a dog sat next to my feet. I don't want to eat within 2 foot of a dog that is licking itself and smells because it's wet. Food was nice so a shame that yet another business is seeking to put dog owners first.

Visited this cafe whilst on a short trip to the area. Would say it's a bit of a hidden gem near the boatyard. Our breakfast order was served quickly, and our hearty meal proved to be very tasty. Staff were polite and friendly. Good experience and happy to recommend.

Very expensive for what it was with. Vegetables were extra. Family lunch cost us £45-£50 a head with only one person drinking wine and two drinking beer. The place was very cold. Disappointing. However the staff were very good.

This was our third attempt at this restaurant. Wow, what an improvement. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and polite. The contemporary menu with some great fish dishes on was superb.
