Portishead brewing Co - the Port bar in North Somerset

We love The Port - our go to local bar for drinks and food in the sunshine. Always friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of beers, wines, waffles and pizzas.

12 of us celebrating a milestone birthday were served by lovely Laura and the team. A few coeliacs and vegetarians but there is something for everyone on the menu. The pizza dough is best gf I have ever had and sooo good that other family members had it even though they can eat gluten! It doesn't leave you feeling bloated which is great. The beers went down well and the house white and red wine is sublime. It was a fab evening :)

I had a lovely morning with My daughter enjoying a lovely breakfast the waffles at the port are a real treat and we were delighted with the amazing food promotions currently running!I also think that the Port serves some of the best coffee in Portishead in a modern yet relaxed environment with fantastic customer service . Thank you so much , we will be back later for the beer!

We arrived at 7pm to meet our daughter’s. Food arrived drinks paid for then within 10 minutes a waiter came over and said he needed our chairs for a pre booked table. As we had only just started eating and drinking I thought he was joking. When it became apparent he was not I said would you like us to stand up and eat? He told us he did not know what to suggest. I walked out and left my drink. I have never been to a restaurant paid for food and drink and then been forced out before finishing. I will never set foot in there again and will tell others what to expect. Shocking.
