The best restaurants in North Devon South West

A great little tapas restaurant. Small menu but perfectly executed. Unlike some tapas places they let you order a few dishes at a time. Everything we had was delicious. Service was lovely. Recommended.

Lovely food at the Oak Room. We chose six plates between us and each one of them was a generous portion and very tasty. The service was very friendly without being intrusive. It’s mot cheap, but not massively expensive, but the quality of food made it good vfm.

Had a lovely lunch this week with My friends. Food was so delicious and plenty of it. Staff were very welcoming, and every thing was clean and pleasant. I highly recommend this resturaunt. Already booked again.

I lived in Thailand for 3 years, and the food here is better than most I had in Thailand! Very authentic ingredients, incredibly friendly staff, and very accommodating (special shout out to Sam and Kirsty 🤗). Great atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

This little tea room was the perfect place to stop. Everything was homemade and delicious (especially the scones!). Service was friendly and I would recommend to everyone to stop for food and especially if you are looking for a proper cream tea!!

We're local and have eaten here many times, as a couple and as part of a large group and it's always a treat. We were there with our daughter this evening. The pub is warm, welcoming and buzzing with a great atmosphere. The staff were really attentive and efficient even though the pub was very busy. Our meals were fantastic. Generous portions of home cooked delicious hearty food. Very reasonable prices too. Thank you for a lovely dining experience and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We've visited several times recently for drinks. It's always been very busy, particularly the outdoor area if the weather has been good. It is dog friendly both inside and out. The decor inside is good; interesting, modern and quirky. The staff are pleasant, service is good.

An Imperial visit for a wonderful lunch presented in comfortable surroundings and friendly staff. Plenty of smiles and helping hands made our visit a will come back again. Thoroughly recommend that you visit the Imperial hotel.

Once again we had had a wonderful meal and experience in this lovely little restaurant. The takeaways are great but you have to experience the atmosphere of the restaurant. A warm welcome awaits and always end up talking to the other guests, comparing the meals. Milan, the owner really works hard to produce such lovely meals, and not forgetting the lovely front of house. I really recommend you try a meal and as the restaurant isn’t licensed don’t forget to get your booze in the Tesco Extra which is very close by which makes the meal much cheaper. We visited this restaurant whilst in town for a few days, it’s a small place so make sure you book. The food was very good, well presented and perfectly seasoned. The service too was attentive and friendly. We would happily come here again, it’s a very good and well ran place.
