Pleasant restaurant at the back of the fish & chips shop. Good variety of dishes on the menu - not just fish & chips. Cod came in small medium and large. I had small, my partner had medium. They were plenty big enough for us. The fish was delicious - lovely and white, flakey and moist. The batter was thin and crispy - cooked to perfection. Our waiter was a shy young man who was a little nervous and inexperienced but very polite and willing to please

Mostly empty. Probably because of high prices for small portions. Nice food though

We had a takeout of 2 large cod and large chips. But we were given chips in both boxes which was fine, very good portions. Alsoe bit of cod looked small and one was large. The cod was very fresh and cooked perfectly also the batter was nice and light. We have been to better chip shops with better and bigger cod around the area such as black and white in combe martin. However we did enjoy this one, very nice.

Nice fish and chip shop. Clean and stylish. Reasonable prices for the area. Had a large cod and chips and my Mrs had a medium sized one. Could not tell the difference except for plate size, the 2 bits of cod were identical. Nice curry sauce, nice and thick. Mushy peas nothing special Staff were friendly and efficient and overall the quality was OK.

Really great quality fish and chips. Unfortunately the restaurant part isn't open. There is no seating available while you wait for the food to be cooked fresh to order. That was quite a big problem for me as I was on crutches at the time.👩🏾‍🦯 No one thought to open up one of the restaurant tables for me to sit down. 🪑 As an aside, I had to ask for no salt and vinegar on my portion several times. The chef seemed very perturbed by this request and mumbled something. Surely I'm not the first to ask for this? 😆

Have had take away a few times from here and have always found it delicious! Sometimes find other places have soggy batter and chips but never had problems from this place love it every time! I normally pre order online as well which is super easy

Wow! What a gem of a find! We found this lovely cafe/chippy for lunch and thought we would try it out. We weren't disappointed. The service was good, food and drinks ordered from our table. The decor was a great talking point. The photos and pictures of all things related to the sea was lovely. The food was incredible. Daughter has the fish pie and veg, she ate the lot! Husband and I enjoyed our dishes. Good selection of cold and hot drinks. Seating inside but they also run takeaway service. No parking that we saw. Has a couple of toilets at the back of the cafe area.

Had haddock and chips. Batter was light and crisp, chips delicious. Hot until the last mouthful. Sever was excellent. Highly recommended.

Good food but missing the big flakes of cod steaks. These days a large cod is actually just a small fillet of white fish. Nothing like a big cod.

In late May of this year (2023) my wife and I ordered Cod and chips in the restaurant and were quite quickly served. However I reluctantly had to return my meal due to my dissatisfaction with the fish. I was soon served with a replacement meal and we both enjoyed our dining experience. First rate food and courteous staff. Now for the unbelievable bit. We went to the checkout to pay for the meal and the owner/manager came to the counter and apologised for the inconvenience caused and waived any payment for any of the meals! saying that our experience did not meet the high standards of the restaurant. I tried again to pay but he would not hear of it and apologised again. Now tell me what establishment would offer a comparable service? I truly hope that this restaurant thrives and flourishes as it so richly deserves.

Food was ok, service was a bit slow and staff forgot about us when we ordered more drinks... We came on Sunday evening on 26th November

The service is great, but the food is not so wonderful. Poor variety of fish as for the fish restaurant. The chips were a bit cold and burnt.

A friendly warm atmosphere as you walk in, with friendly staff taking you to your seat. You are instantly made to feel welcomed. The service provided is of top quality with very professional and polite members of staff. Catch have really employed amazing staff members here. The food was served in good timing and the quality was incredible. Every item on the plate (4 of us) was at the correct temperature and cooked to a high standard. The food was obviously sourced from quality ingredients as the taste of the meals was excellent. From start to finish I can personally highly recommend this place to eat out at.

Visited here July 2021. So very pleased. Had the best jacket potato with prawn filling ever in my life.❤️ A young lady, I think her name was Lil, very polite & shy was helpful. Will definitely be going again this August on holiday xx

Ordered a meal this evening while working at the rugby club fireworks display A fabulous and varied menu with great options available. Perfectly cooked and minimal waiting time for delivery via Just Eat. I don't know if the two delivery ladies were staff or independent delivery drivers but they were cheerful polite & found me with ease. A new chippy in town. A friend and I walked in after the Christmas light switch on in town. Lots of takeaways going on and busy in the restaurant. They have decorated it nicely and there's lots of space for pushchairs in the front of the restaurant. A nice young lady served us who was kind and smart, just needs to build some confidence. Food was delicious and came in good time. Enough food to feel a happy kinda full. Chips cooked nicely, not too greasy. Sausage was just right. Curry sauce was ok, but could do with improvement. Drinks were from cans or bottles from the fridge which was ok. The lady behind the till was very happy and kind which was nice and left feeling good.
