The best restaurants in Landkey, Swimbridge and Taw North Devon South West

A lovely treat! My husband and I went to Willow's Tearoom in Landkey, North Devon. I had a lovely pot of tea with a homemade scone, cream and strawberry conserve, my husband had ginger sponge with custard and a double espresso. All vegan! It was fantastic! The food was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. The owner was incredibly friendly and we can't speak highly enough of Willows. If you are visiting North Devon check their opening times and treat yourself!

My husband and I really enjoyed the wine tasting and vineyard tour with Ali. Not only was the tour informative, inspiring, but full of laughter (that's before trying the delicious wines). We had such a lovely morning which we then followed with a scrumptious roast on site, was a perfect way to spend a Sunday. Highly recommend

We are on holiday...called lunch time.....what a gem.....lovely staff and food was a six!...only sorry off home tomorrow...😪

Totally big dog friendly, staff and customers thought the dogs were great. The food was good too🤣

on holiday looked for a local pub for Sunday lunch.We have had many of these in our time this was definately one of the best,I have never had so many different veggies,the roast baby leeks made it though,Of course the ginger sponge was beautiful,so light.It was perfect,and of course the staff were so friendly,

Met up with friends for lunch. The staff were very friendly, good menu. I had Pate, friends had scampi and chips and I bbq ribs all very good and thoroughly enjoyed. Followed by coffee. We were there for ages but there was no rush. Lovely old pub. This is the 2nd visit this year and it’s very nice.

Would highly recommend, a very warm welcome. We looked around Barnstable looking for somewhere to eat & finally decided on fish & chips. What a great choice & a great find in Scoffs! They couldn’t do enough for you . The food was excellent & the chips cooked Yorkshire way were unbelievable. We would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great meal in warm surroundings to check out Scoffs

Absolutely fantastic service from a young guy named Logan. I am an avid subway eater and have frequented many establishments over the years but this one has topped them all. It was a busy lunchtime and a que of 10-15 people stood before me, I watched this young magician whip up subs with robotic accuracy and speed. He cleared the Que in minutes all while having a beaming smile and great customer attitude. When he came to mine a foot long chicken & bacon with all the salads (not a easy task to fit it all in) not only did he make it in record time he actually presented me with the neatest fullest sub Iv ever had! He even put the sauce in the middle so that it didn’t all spill out! Wish I’d taken a photo but alas it was in my mouth before I’d thought of it. What a credit to the store this guy was, if anybody deserves some recognition or a pay rise I hope he gets it. Signed SubKing

Waited over a hour for food to be brought the wrong meal, didn't relace took the food back and only got a part refund for the bill

Great cafe and great service. Went during a busy period and the food was excellent. Reasonably priced too. Will be back!

My niece was told by customer service that there was nothing they could do about it being sent to the wrong address. When she went back home later that evening they had just left her food order on her doorstep! They charged her a stupid amount for this too. I do not recommend KFC to anyone. The food is not good enough to account for the appalling customer service we received and the price is too high to be treated this way. My niece and I were extremely disappointed.

Couldn't order food as there was only 1 member of staff on duty and she was preparing "pre-orders" Politely told I would have to wait half an hour to order Not good enough really

Absolutely awful place. Terrible staff management rude and offensive. Food is awful, under cooked cold and not pleasant at all. How this place passes any hygiene inspections amazes me. Filthy toilets, dirty tables and floors in the restaurant, god knows what the kitchen is like. I’m surprised this place hasn’t been shut down. Ordered food and promptly sent it back for a refund as it was disgusting, then given verbal abuse by so called management for doing so. Environmental health need to visit this place. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place as it’s a definite health risk.
