Absolutely fantastic service from a young guy named Logan. I am an avid subway eater and have frequented many establishments over the years but this one has topped them all. It was a busy lunchtime and a que of 10-15 people stood before me, I watched this young magician whip up subs with robotic accuracy and speed. He cleared the Que in minutes all while having a beaming smile and great customer attitude. When he came to mine a foot long chicken & bacon with all the salads (not a easy task to fit it all in) not only did he make it in record time he actually presented me with the neatest fullest sub Iv ever had! He even put the sauce in the middle so that it didn’t all spill out! Wish I’d taken a photo but alas it was in my mouth before I’d thought of it. What a credit to the store this guy was, if anybody deserves some recognition or a pay rise I hope he gets it. Signed SubKing

Classic subway, Nice shop, recently renovated. Staff all nice, food good too, food can be cold when ordering ubereats, but not a fault of the restaurant.

I have visited this Subway a few times now, although it's in a service station, it's excellent. There is lots of parking available. I have visited at a weekend lunchtime and on a weekday lunchtime in the school holiday and have never found this Subway to ever be excessively busy. Staff are nice and Subway food is as you would expect. There are also toilets available, which are fine. All in all, if you like Subway and have a car it's a good place to stop.

Exeter Rd,
Only popped in for a quick drink in the afternoon. Very quiet, not surprising in February. Cider was "ok", not the best by far, staff were efficient if not overly friendly.

Barnstaple Railway Station Station RoadThis is a great place for a coffee or something to eat when waiting for a train or shopping in the area. I meet friends here once a month and have never been disappointed. The full vegetarian breakfast is excellent. Don’t go to Costa, come here instead!

Woolacombe Station RoadLocation wise excellent. Unfortunately, this tired old looking pub has definitely seen better days! Need of major investment, but it would definitely be worth it. Years ago, this pub was full of customers all of the time.

17 Broad StreetWe have just had a brilliant family dinner at The Starter Bar. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble! Our boys both have ADHD, which can make dinners out stressful, but the staff went out of their way to ensure the boys were happy and that we all felt welcome. Staff gave the boys colouring books, sharpened their pencils, chatted about dinosaurs and generally did anything to make them smile. We were relaxed enough to stay for desert, which never happens! All the food was delicious, varied and served piping hot. We definitely recommend the brownie sundae for pudding. The meal and drinks were good value and very tasty. Thank you to the two lovely ladies for giving us a really special evening to remember. Highly recommended.
