Was a well needed stop on what was a fairly miserable day. Mostly everything else in the area was shut so it was nice to stop in somewhere warm and dry! Stopped for a few drinks and then ended up getting some food. I got a mixed grill which for the price always seems to hold up pretty well in my opinion. Topped it off with a few more drinks which definitely gave me some courage to brave the windy wet weather again!!!

Food is always average and starting to become expensive for what you actually get. It took 30 minutes to arrive even though it was a pizza and some chicken bites. On top of this I got a parking ticket for £75 because they charge designated drivers through the night to park in their carpark. Charging after 6pm is a bit irresponsible in my opinion as they should be promoting safe driving and not ripping those drivers off. My own fault for not checking the signs but I didn’t expect to have to pay after a reasonable time.

We visited tonight as a group of 6. Unfortunately, one of our meals was not great - not the fault of the staff or the chefs, but just one of those things. When we had to send our meal back - the staff were lovely. When there was a problem for the second time, the staff could not have been more accommodating and more apologetic. The gentleman helping us, I think his name was Rob, was so kind and so professional - we left Weatherspoons not thinking about the problems we had - but thinking about how fantastic the staff had been. Sometimes when you go out, it's not always perfect, that's life - but it's how these companies deal with a problem that makes all the difference.

We had the fish and chips with the afternoon deal and it was amazing value! The drinks are so cheap whereas at other restaurants it is so expensive that it just isn't financially viable. Best value restaurant there is! Would definitely recommend.

Only a short walk from our place. Very busy. Staff constantly on the go. Watched the kitchen team hard at it would love to know the daily step count nice location interior very well presented.

Good location, easy to order, not too busy (though it was a rainy Sunday evening in November), friendly staff. Seemed a bit pricier than other Wetherspoons and the food wasn't as described but otherwise a pleasant place to have a meal.

This pub gets packed very quickly. I would suggest booking a table in advance for a visit. A great atmosphere and great service, but as stated, it can get very packed.

Fair play the food and service we had tonight was absolutley the best ive ever experienced in a wetherwpoons, it may be slightly pricer than any other spoons but its worth it, female boucer was brilliant and had a lovely conversation, Chef absolutley smashed it and guy on the floor looked after us, cleaned our table and made sure we didnt leave without our umbrella's, had a lovely night and will be back again. Credit where its due

Great service and very clean a top spoons

Best spoons I’ve ever been too!! Food and drink all turned up within 7 minutes of me ordering!! Plus the toilets are on the same floor, no climbing loads of stairs for the toilets here!!!! It’s unheard of for a weatherspoons to be this good.

Consistently the best spoons in Devon and Cornwall. Staff particularly friendly, food of a better standard than other spoons, short wait times for food. Also a pleasant building with plenty of natural light.

Good value witherspoons pub. Its very much a standard JD witherspoons pub but that being said, good service, food was decent and clean well kept toilet facilities. We have been several times with our 2 children and double buggy when in the area. Very much a family friendly place.

Nice pub with open air top deck. This place is a cut above our local Wetherspoons although there's no atmosphere Can't say the same about the food at the Admiral Collingwood, Ilfracombe. Our breakfasts were served cold and the kitchen took too long to replace them. Odd, because the place wasn't busy. Refunded our money with no apology.

Stopped for a coffee on a cold overcast day in Ilfracombe. Great views from the rooftop terrace. Would be nice on a fine day!

Really good spoons here, we had 2x gourmet steaks, 1x chicken tikka massala and drinks. Food was fantastic piping hot and out really quickly for a 1pm visit. Staff all friendly, pub ant washrooms spotless, will definitely visit again.

Only had a simple meal. You know what to expect from Wetherspoons pubs. Considering it was very busy and we ordered by app the service is good and it was a nice place to sit and eat.

Expensive compared to other Wetherspoons. You need to add a premium of about £2-3 to all meals here. ( Large mixed grill £17.76 here) Staff ok. Chip portions small. Toilet cleaning below average.

Nice looking Wetherspoons, busy on a Saturday morning with people getting breakfast. Staff were on the ball,it was pretty tidy.

Been to several wetherspoons in my time, but this one for me and my partner is the BEST BY FAR. Food is the same as elsewhere, but it is the nicest building by far.

Brilliant dome, just like the Reichstag except MUCH MUCH BETTER!!!! Because it has beer and a rooftop seating area of course, plus the AstroTurf is spongy so the whole family can come along and bounce around like crazy!!

It's listed by Trivago as only 2 *. Yes, it's a little tired but, I'd say it's closer to a 3* and I stay in hotels quite a lot. The new owners will bend over backwards to solve any issues. Even down to adding another bed in to a room as I requested. (I'm bigger than the average bear so the Mrs wanted a single added to the room) The food was great quality, absolutely lovely and being the cheapest option in the area, it's a winner for those on a tight budget. In house entertainment (in season) we had a comedian/singer, bingo and quiz night, singer/ guitarist, all in a few nights. I'd stay again.

Lasagne came with chips only and no garnish. It was on a plate instead of the traditional bowl. Really didn't look very appetising

We had an all day breakfast which we did not have to wait long for and it was hot. The toilets are on the ground level and there is an accessible toilet. There is street parking. Our table was cleared quite quickly. There is an upstairs garden with a view of the sea. It is child friendly. The menu is the same as any other wetherspoons except the prices are a little more than your local in land pub.

One of the best wetherspoons in UK. Always clean and tidy, great service, and always a good selection of draft beer. However the food quality has plummeted, portions suffering from shrink-ation. I had 10 chips with my burger! Which resembled a basic McDonalds cheeseburger. Will not be dining here again.

Its a Wetherspoons. Its was heaving really busy. Food, beer and shorts were all good. I don't have one but perhaps you should make your outside space dog friendly.

Typical JD menu, was a sunny evening and the place was very busy but only about 10 minutes wait for food and drinks.

Wetherspoons is a good freindly pub a bit pricey but worth it.Even for a quick drink. swing bye and have a meal with family and freinds i defantly recomened it.

Advise you get a receipt and check it. We were overcharged BUT it was rectified very efficiently when I pointed it out.

This has to be one of the best Wetherspoons there is. We have been to these pubs up and down the country so we are able to accurately comment that this place is one of the best. Excellent both inside and out, excellent rooftop bar. Food is great, service is excellent. Food is nice staff are friendly. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Good size venue, staff were nice. Food was not great. My sons pizza was rock solid and I got very sick from the cod and chips even though it did taste and look ok. Cheap prices in an ideal location.

Great location, staff not helpful regarding allergies etc, push you too a screen and once you've sorted what you want they tell you they dont sell that here!

Located not far from the harbour, not too crowded when we went to get some food, which arrived quickly. Good selection of food and drinks. There is also a roof terrace and there's a bar upstairs as well.

Not the best . More expensive. One half of the bar is ok the other seems like a mishmash of tables and crammed in like sardines. I like the idea of an open kitchen. Food ok, the red wine was not that nice.

Large restaurant on 2 floors and a terrace on the second floor with a view over the city!

Prices have gone up and serving sizes reduced. Very expensive for the tiny portions. Probably won't return :-(

Visited for an evening meal with a party of 4, sat outside on the fantastic roof terrace! Food was good and warm, service was great. Revisited a couple of days later for breakfast and this too was very good food and top service. Highly recommended!

Really nice location and place to sit in Ilfracombe, we visited at peak breakfast rush and food still came out in good time. My eggs Benedict were very solid however which was a bit disappointing but still a nice meal

Spent a few days in Illfracombe with my family and called in on a couple of occasions, I’d like to thank Gareth who was the perfect host and was lovely when we encountered some not nice folk when sat outside, thank you for the kind Customer service it really made our visit so much nicer 😊 Weatherspoons you have a good one there !
