Costa Coffee in North Devon

Lovely coffee. Really nice staff.

Staff very friendly helpful. But why is it in all the costas the toilets 🚻 are such a mess and smells .

Could do with an upgrade seat ripped and in need of replacement

Wow .. don’t do in with a dog just incase you accidentally sit near the fridge where apparently it’s terribly unhygienic! Went in to grab a quick coffee and I was told by the girl behind the counter to move my dog pretty quick , couldn’t even order my coffee before hand which is what upset me ,, unfortunately they won’t be getting me back or any of the other people I know. Check in with your attitude girls ! 👎

Visited today with my husband. Chan was on her own, no other staff, and she was really brilliant. She was very friendly and as it got busy she acknowledged all and apologised for the wait. She is a real credit to herself and Costa . Thank you, Chan.X 😊

Best tasting vanilla latte I had in ages. Only two on so service a bit slow.

The staff on duty on the 13/8/23 Sunday are very unprofessional. Sitting on the floor with friends and acting like children.

Just a costa. Staff lovely but not many working so your drinks take a while. Which is not the staff fault

A friendly atmosphere to relax in.

This place has gradually deteriorated to such a point where the only option now is to avoid. Dirty and smelly toilet facility. Dirty floor throughout. Table cleaning below standard, D10 cleaner and a filthy cloth is not acceptable. A sorry collection of stale cakes, some days none at all. Baristas that constantly touch their face/nose/mouth whilst handling drinks & making food. Poorly made drinks that are often luke warm and not resembling what they should, .I.e. cappuccino that is more milky tepid latte. The Tchibo coffee from the machine in Hele petrol station is infinitely better and a third less in price. Some serious owner input needed as well as a huge retraining session for the youngsters running the show (who incidentally aren’t to blame for this mess the place is in, they’re clearly under trained and trying to muddle through as best they can).

Small coffee shop. All the usual Costa offerings. Rather dark inside but probably not a lot they can do about that.

Costa coffee is always a welcome break when out shopping, to treat yourself.

Coffee not too bad, just the usual Costa, weaker than most other chains and a bit bland. Service in this shop was alright although seemed a bit disinterested and not much knowledge of products for sale. Overall, fine if you are after a coffee and it is dog friendly.

Popped in for a latte for takeaway. Quick and friendly service from the two staff. Small high street Costa.

Standard Costa, opening hours advertised no where near close most days no one in until 0830-0900. Hope Management are aware!

Coffee was fine but I feel the poor girl behind the counter could use a bit of help. A little bit stressed out to say the least.

Lovely local Costa, doesn’t have the early opening times of my local Costa, but still great for coffee.

Recommended by someone local and so glad they did food was delicious and very pleasant staff

Staff seemed a bit iffy but there was also a total douche there at the time, so it's forgivable. Other than that, super quick service and good coffee!

Disgusting seeing as there is a limit on tables and spacing people out there was dirty dishes on atleast 2 tables and nothing was cleaned between customers

Grumpy staff member and the magic bag was only sandwiches. Hardly a variety as other stores do. Very disappointed. No wonder barely any customers were there. 😟

I am afraid to say that costa was not good the staff was rude more interested in talking them doing there job the girl didn’t give you a chance to look that what you want she said hurry up and said I want your money she had no people skills at all I will be telling my friends not to go there it the worst place to go for a coffee she was saying I am going to ge paid before you to the other lady she wasn’t impressed At all

We ordered alot of coffee for family under going a big house move. The staff were lovely, filled the order quickly and were very friendly. Coffee was great as usual

Don't know what the coffee is like but I've never paid over two pounds for a paper cup of tepid bilgewater masquerading as tea in my life. Just hope the coffee's better even though that's a rip off as well.

Costa never fails to impress, and this site (Ilfracombe) continues to live up to my expectations. The drinks and cakes that my family ordered were of very good quality. The staff working during our visit (12/08/2018) made us feel welcome and served us with a smile throughout. Good work Costa, keep it up.
