Visited on the August bank holiday . Wasn't sure what to expect as I have never been on a wine tour in the UK . It was really interesting and informative and the Vineyard is obviously a passion project . After spending some time learning about the vines we were treated to tasting of 3 lovely wines and a delicious champagne. Overall nearly 2 hours of really good fun . Suitable for my dog too. Highly recommend

Wow what a great venue and hosts, perfect for our family get together of 18 adults and 4 children. Alina put on a fantastic high tea with home made sandwiches, pastries, cakes and cream teas with coffee and tea. The bar was also open where we tasted and bought some of their delicious home made wine. Alina also provided a colouring table for the kids. We would love to return next year and try their wine tasting tour. Thank you Alina.

A fantastic independent vineyard in Devon, the tour was very informative and the wine tasting was delicious. We got 3 bottles of wine all for a very good price when you consider this isn’t mass produced wine. Will be back next time we are in the area.

Today we visited Venn Valley Vineyard for lunch and a wine tasting tour. The food was wonderful and generously portioned, the service was excellent and the tasting tour terrific! We were greeted in the tasting room and provided water carafes to hydrate us before venturing out into the very hot sun. Tony then took us around the vines to start the tour and explained a little about the history of the farm, and the ypes of vines they grow, with information about how they do things and why. All very informative. Then as we returned to the tasting room Alina took over and proudly offered us a white and rose wine to taste, explaining exactly how to get the flavours from the wines. This was their own wine and the first times they have been able to serve it. They also served 2 red which whilst they weren't their own wines, were made from their winemaking company and were an indication of how they wish to develop their collection. They also offer corporate and wedding events and have some very ambitious plans for their future. They provided a great afternoon and experience and I would highly recommend this as a family/group/business activity to do. The restaurant and cafe are open all year, 5 days a week. Wishing them all the best on this venture, a fabulous thing to have here in North Devon!

On our most recent visit to Swimbridge to meet with Bill The Potter, he recommended that we have lunch at the Venn Valley Winery. Great smiling welcome and good food hosted by joint owner Alina. Updates on the progress of the vines in this new(ish) vineyard with delightful enthusiasm. Time to chat with friends in a relaxed, no pressure, atmosphere. Food arrived promptly and all freshly prepared and cooked. Look forward to their growth and interesting to know them at this stage of their development.

Absolutely fantastic. We were given an afternoon tea for a present and Caffyns Farm was the closest for us in Plymouth. The food was amazing, and very generous portions too, we came home with a doggy bag. There's a lovely warm & welcoming atmosphere, all the staff were absolutely lovely and it's very clean and tidy. Only criticism is that the toilets are upstairs (i walk with crutches). They also offer camping facilities and horse riding, not to mention feeding the goats in Goat Cafe lol while admiring the gorgeous views. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere nice, chilled and peaceful. Was well worth the 2 hour drive. Will definitely be going back in the future 😊😊

Excellent food, very imaginative, tasty and colourful. We had a small portion of savoury waffles (sweet potato), one with avocado, tahini, cumin and lime juice, the other with hummus, black beans and jalapeños. And kombucha to drink. This was our second visit and won’t be the last. Thank you for a memorable lunch.
