What an absolute disgusting place. Cold food rude staff ignorant and loud. The worst dirtiest kFC ever. Avoid like the plague

Ordered on just eat and when I opened my mash it was half gone and had fork marks in so someone had half eaten it and they had reheated and sent to us! In absolute shock as I don’t know whether the rest of the food had also been tampered with. Surprised they aren’t shut down.

This place is terrible, no idea how it's still here. Absolute rip off, the chips were cold, and cost far too much for what you get. If paying by card, you have to use the machines, eliminating any human effort. Just awful.

Went in at 8.30 pm when we weren’t aloud to sit down to eat the food even though half of the restaurant was still open it felt like we were being rushed out the door, then at 8.50pm just after we left they locked the door, on the website it says open unit 10pm absolutely shocking! Either the website is wrong or the store is but need to get it corrected

Went through the drive through ask for 6 feast was the ask anything else then usherd to the next window told the girl she didn't take my order properly after some arguing she then put it right. We'll the food was cold totally rubbish service then I saw the girl in the back wiping her nose in her hand then went back to handling the food

Orderd my food online to collect. Went over to collect my food. Got told to walk through the drive through. Staff were very very rude shouting in my face saying they weren't taking online orders when it clearly stated they were. I explained it was my treat for new year and one of the staff members was laughing in my face. I asked if I could have my money back and the man shouted WE AINT KFC OFFICE. Other staff member couldn't get our the door quick enough

There was bugs in the toilet and a hair in my food absolutely disgusted with the serivce I got I got spat on as well as all the other negative stuff won’t be coming here again , do not recommend to anyone save yourself!!!!

Not the first time I’ve had issues with shortages here ! Ordered and paid for a 3 piece Colonel meal ended up with a 2 piece meal my wife wasn’t impressed ! Imagine every other drive through customer missing part of their order they must be coining it in! I won’t be back !

Absolutely awful woman on the speaker through the drive through was rued, couldn't understand what i was asking for and shouting. I will never go back.

We popped in on the way home after a hospital visit and I wish we hadn’t bothered. The staff were slow and unhelpful - and one woman incredibly rude. Despite it being quiet, they managed to mess up the order and when I went back to request drinks I was ignored until I asked three times for help. The floor desperately needed a sweep and we had to side-step a big pile of rubbish on the floor to access the loos. As we left, the same worker was glaring at us and shaking her head.

Shocking... Filthy floor covered in food debris. Tables dirty and no evidence of Shop floor management whatsoever. Order stations not working but cash only at the till when ordering. Food was cold and practically inedible. Obnoxious staff member behind the counter more interested in chit chat with Just Eat courier. Very cold eating area with inexplicable draughts from somewhere. And still only 1 toilet available to use - but only if you're desperate! Like the eating area, the toilet had blatantly not been cleaned all day. I would cross over to the petrol station and use their facilities. Car park strewn with rubbish. KFC - this franchisee is not doing your brand any favours.. .

Absolutely diabolical service… a lady who I presumed to be the manager was shouting at the top of her voice to her the members of her team.. they didn’t even realise I had ordered until I showed them my receipt.. things not ordered came and things that we had ordered weren’t there… awful !

waited at the drive thru for 5 mins until someone came to take our order! the speaker was so loud sounded like they was shouting at us! asked for 2 buckets of chicken the £5.99 deal and was told only 1 per customer funny how anywhere else this is never a problem but this place it is! i said wanted 2 buckets as have my wife and kids that want chicken but they refused and told me to order other things as can only have one £5.99 bucket per customer,the person serving was rude and stroppy so i told them to forget it and we go to mcdonalds round the corner! got to mcdonalds and went to drive thru no stress nice and easy to order food its seems likes this place dont want to sell there product KFC felt like i was pestering them when asked what i wanted to order so my advice is dont bother folks go somewhere else this has to be the worse KFC in uk.

We ordered a delivery through just eat and after waiting 1:30 hrs we decided to just go pick up the order ourselves, when we arrived we could see our food sitting on the side but wasn’t allowed to take it as the staff said the just eat driver had to take it. 15 minutes passed with our order sat on the side going cold and delivery drivers came in with other orders and they said they couldn’t just hand over the food to us so we ended up having to cancel the just eat order and reorder the food at kfc and then wait for new food to be made and given to us whilst the other food went to waste from my understanding. Overall the experience was disastrous and the customer service was rude and very unhelpful

Staying at the travelodge next door so decided to go get myself an easy dinner at 8.15pm. Note that the opening time is until 10pm here. Walked in, started my order on the touchscreen order system to have the staff yell from the counter that the restaurant was closed. Bit confused as the door was unlocked and said open until 10 on it. They went on to shout that it was drive thru only. After saying I had walked, they told me to go outside and walk through the drive thru. I told them I was only ordering a takeaway, so could I not just complete my order on the screen? Apparently not. I was then told by, I assume, the manager as they came steamrollering from somewhere in the back of the kitchen that the restaurant was closed and if I wanted any food at all I would need to use the drive thru. I left and went to the subway next door where the staff were more than happy to serve people

monday night 8pm drive through closed...went in..the girl bless her didnt understan d english..food poor ..cold..and not what is expected...sat in the car outside and ate as well..maybe someone needs 2 look into why this place has gone down hil;l so fast...

This really is the worst food I have ever eaten at a KFC (take-away obviously). Absolutely dripping in oil/grease (never had kentucky drip down my front when I've eaten it), chicken looked a grey colour, the skin and the coating was falling off and somehow they'd managed to cook all the taste out of the coating, also no coffee available at lunchtime only cold drinks. How on earth KFC UK allow this place to operate is completely beyond me. If you want a decent KFC meal then avoid this place at all costs, it gets the 1 star for the food being hot.

Car park and surrounding area of the restaurant is filthy with litter and obviously very old meat bones strewn around. Service was polite enough, can’t fault the attitude of the staff and service was swift. Having driven a few minutes down the road to find somewhere less disgusting to park up and eat my food I was disappointed to find that the tiny portion of chips was incredibly dark brown coloured, soggy and were stone cold, the burger (served upside down in the box) was dry and barely lukewarm, lettuce was soggy, bun was bone dry. The coffee was weak and way too hot. Despite my asking for ketchup I was given sachets of BBQ sauce, finding myself a mile or so down the road I could t be bothered with having to turn around and drive all the way back to get the order fixed and I shouldn’t have to. Point to note that it was early lunchtime and there was no queue at all for drive through and only a single customer in the restaurant itself. I should have taken the hint and gone elsewhere.

We went through the drive through waited a bit but wasn't to bad. Got home only had 11 pieces of chicken instead if 12, got on the phone straight away, their message on phone saying that they care about their customers so left our phone number, its been just over a week and still no phone call. I do think that the chicken and the chip portions have got smaller still paying the same price, I used to go every 2 weeks but how I will not go there again I will make it myself.No customer service at all. They want your business and don't care.Trying to keep these businesses from closing don't know why we bother.

Rude unpleasant lady taking the order. Had a just eat delivery from KFC and as per usually half the order was missing, won't be ordering from there again waste of time, waste of money and a complete waste of space o and they don't know how to answer the phone.

We usually visit this KFC as it's quick and has always been pleasant.This evening my partner and I decided to grab a late night treat as it's my birthday tomorrow and he took a surprise day off. When we arrived it was late I will admit, 9:45pm and the store closes at 10. So I understood I wouldn't get my first pick of food, completely justified given the time.We order a 10 piece bucket on the bone, collect it, then continued straight home. Unfortunately we did not pay much attention to what she was charging us nor what was handed to us out of trust with this specific branch.We got home 45mins later, food still warm! But when we open up our bucket, there are only 9 pieces. One piece is considerably larger than the others so we put the missing piece down to this. BUT, my partner checks his mobile banking and discovered the cashier had charged us £22 rather than the £14.99 advertised. And in addition to it, it just happened to be the grimmest KFC we have had from there to date. Such a shame as we can't do anything about it now because £5 is a lot to overcharge for a below average meal regardless of the time. I'm very disappointed and my partner is so irritated by it I don't believe we will return to this branch again.

Partner and I decided to have a kfc, as it was 8:30pm and neither if could be bothered to cook after a long day. Under cooked chicken, soggy fries and flat drinks. Had to throw it away it was that bad. Not the first problem with this restaurant, and probably not the last as its the only kfc for 50 miles.

Not usually one to leave bad reviews but last night was the second instance of TERRIBLE customer service at KFC Rounds well. I went through the drive-thru and when collecting my food at the window, the bigger girl with glasses (not sure how else to explain her) was extremely abrupt and rude to me for an instance that was her fault! I continued to be polite despite the horrendous service and then she outright ignored me. Funny thing is, the same girl was extremely rude to my neighbour too on a different occasion. I would love to know how this delightful young lady still has a job! Sort your staff out KFC.

I seem to have a habit of reviewing KFCs recently. Perhaps it’s the continued poor service I receive. I do not expect a red carpet nor white glove but my expectations are somewhere around 2/5.On the occasion I walk many miles to KFC to find that the staff had closed the front door even it would seem management wanted a maximum of 4 people inside the building. A staff member pointing in the direction of the drive through. At this next point I was next level hungry and decide (like a big of a melon) to queue with the Cars in the drive through.I wasn’t heavy enough to register for the machine, so similar to the signs for motorbikes I proceeding to the window.At this point I was told I cannot order unless I go back to the tanoid. Next too move to one side and let cars through that I queued with. It seems as if KFC gives privilege to those that can afford automobiles.After standing in the rain for 5 minutes I was told I cannot order and window without cash. I get that I may have been slightly different system as I was not in fact a car as the employee stated. However I feel they did not go the extra mile or even the extra inch to attempt to serve me some chips.To top it off, I’m not please to see that KFC have discontinued the vegan option. Meat is murder and I can no longer support this organisation.

Arrived at the drive through we were the only car placed our order by the time we drove 10 yards to the window the food was ready with was worrying couldn’t see the burger just a mound of mayo took a bite and it was dry as hell took it back and the lady removed my burger wiped the mayo off and put the burger in a fresh bun and said your burger is the same but I have put a new bun on it ?? Popped to the drive through, only to be greeted by rude and abrupt member of staff on the intercom ordering point. They did not have what we wanted to order which would of been fine but we didn’t appreciate how they approached the problem, no apology and very abrupt. With the amount of other outlets available to get food from, in the area, we didn’t bother placing an order with them. we couldn’t believe the total lack of customer service. Definitely not doing the kfc brand any favours, sadly won’t be going back.

Visited a few days ago and was surprised how such a famous brand was as poor as this !! - The Staff (I think Polish) we unfriendly and abrupt and when another customer asked for a pot of chilli sauce, the woman argued with him he had already had one and gave him the filthiest look. The Food - I should think it was yesterdays heated up as it was dry and tasteless apart from one piece of chicken which was that greasy and yet I doubted if it was coked inside, in fact I took a photo in case I came down with stomach problems to prove it was that !! - The seating area ha lots of rubbish around and big pool of water on the floor where we sat - No serviettes and once again, a customer got a dirty look for asking for a hand wipe.

Truly the worst KFC I have been in, staff are scruffy, should they not be in uniform? They are abrupt and rude. Seating area is filthy with cob webs and grease. Pretty sure some unsavoury charters sat in dodgy vehicle in the car park trying to intimidate everyone.Avoid at all costs.

I do Not like to give Negative Reviews BUT I have given this KFC the benefit of the doubt a couple of times.... but I am Shocked that they do NOT Improve!!! The Management need to Get a Grip of this Place and Improve Cleanliness, Staff and Standards in General.... Visited here yesterday and I am So disappointed that the Staff are Still Scruffy, Very Abrupt when they serve you, the Restaurant is Still not Clean and the Food NOT served HOT!!!!!!! Shocked & appalled. Staff were over friendly but then, when you receive your food you then know why. Fillet burger with cheese used to be big juciy & tasty. Now it's small dry & tasteless. Ordered mighty bucket from drive through,was presented in paper bag with 10 sachets of salt,a wedge of napkins but no wet wipes all rammed in the same tiny bag , when I got home I know why there so much room for everything in bag as there was one hot wing missing and the rest of the chicken was so small

Just been in for some tea on the way home we sat in to eat while eating I watched a lady member of staff come from behind the counter after serving customers empty the bin push the rubbish down with her hands with no gloves on take the bag outside lift bin lid to put bag in then she came back in behind the counter and continue to serve customers there food without washing her hands as for the food horrible horrible horrible!!!!! Should of kept it a wimpy

We popped in on whilst on a long journey home. Never again one of the dirtiest KFC I have been in toilets absolutely disgusting! The whole restaurant was horrible it was empty when we walked in which is never a good sign anyway. We ordered our meals I asked for a bottle of water with my meal which the bottle was sticky and grubby! I didn't even open my bag of food when I got outside as I saw the chef walk by not the most clean and tidy person I have seen. My partner tried his meal but said it wasnt great so that went in the bin too. What a waste of £11.00 but theres no way I was going to eat that food.

A burger served to a child had a giant black pube in it.. no staff seem phased. Is this normal practice for them?

This is the first time I have ever gone out of my way to leave a negative complaint for a fast food establishment.

I visited this establishment last week, Place was quiet so I went inside to order a take-away. There were 3 sets of people waiting & no one at the counter. I ordered a bargain bucket for my family The man serving took the hot chicken out of the heated cabinet & placed in the bucket on the side, along with other orders.10 minutes later, the guy apologised for the wait & said they were waiting for chips. These eventually came & were placed in with the chicken. I requested that the chicken be replaced with hot chicken & explained it had been sat there for 12-15 mins. A different serving person glared at me, huffed & puffed before replacing the food before thrusting the bag at me. So, if you like your food cold, served very slowly by inconsiderate unfriendly staff, then visit. Personally, as a local, will never be setting my foot inside of there again.

Visited on a wet Sunday afternoon. Quick service, friendly staff. Easy to use car park. Food arrived hot and well presented. Nothing was to much trouble. Only thing that was not perfect was tables a bit dirty, as well as finger marks on windows and lots of cobwebs.

Went to KFC on the 6th December had to wait ages to order my food then took even longer when it arrived, and was wrong and cold they had given us the car next to us order. Went back in told them it wasn't my order to be told it must be the other peoples like it was my job to give it to them, bear in mind the order was for a boneless banquet and the car beside had loads more and served before us. chrissy was the name who served me then some little rude boy pops out ask rudely what I wanted. Rocked up for a spot of lunch. Waited for about 20 mins to be served. Fries were cold, chicken was cold and the 7up tasted like soda water with a little sugar.... Oh and no napkins in a KFC is a disaster. I'd avoid this one unless you're really desperate for chicken!

Arrived at KFC and waited 10 minutes to be served. Whilst waiting the manager was serving I was horrified to see a hand rolled cigarette behind his ear with tobacco visible. We ordered our food and went to sit down. There were no clean tables and I had to clean one myself. The chicken was soggy and needed an extra few minutes cooking. To conclude, the restaurant was dirty, staff sharing their tobacco and soggy food. Didn’t want to check the toilets out!!!

I went to kfc roundswell because my family wanted a kfc. I asked for a family bucket some gravy and fries and corn on the cob.

It’s KFC so not much wrong with the food, except occasionally the chips seem a bit cold. Drive through is ok, but whenever we go and sit inside they seem to be trying to get everyone out. It’s so cold in there I’ve had to ask for the aircon to be switched off. They also close down 2/3s of the seating area by about 8, which makes no sense.

After reading the reviews I feel I was very lucky as our meal was wonderful. It was hot, well cooked food with great staff who could do no better for you!

I have witnessed many issues with this place, including rats (lots of them) running around by the drive in area!!! If they get your order right, you are the lucky one!!! Been ripped off so Many times when we have been missing several items from our order. Forget it being hot, if it is luke warm, again you have struck gold! It is a shame that the franchisee/owner isnt a bit more particular... this place has the monopoly of KFC in the area, yet are just resting on their laurels, using the brand to sell their food, but letting very poorly trained and rude staff deal with their customers!!!! Bad management all round! Dirty inside and out ... but don’t bother to complain, they don’t want to know!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! Its a shambolic fast food outlet which my family and I will never use again... and I am going all out to spread the word!!!

This was our first visit to KFC and after driving all day in the rain we decided to give it a try as it was right next door to the travel lodge. When we entered I was surprised how empty it was but it was clean and tidy and our order was taken by a pleasant young women. We only had to wait a few minutes for our order which I was surprised at having read some of the reviews I was ready for a wait. The meal itself was nice, the chicken was juicy and we had 12 good size pieces the only downside were the chips. They have to be some of the worst chips I have ever had. I think they had been made sometime and left under the heat lamps because they were so dry you could have used them as tinder. As this was our first time to KFC I'm unsure if the chip situation is normal or we just caught them at the wrong moment. Has this put me off going to a KFC in the future? No, the chicken which in my opinion is what your really paying for was delicious.

A regular customer here. I know they are slow. Waited behind one car for 3 minutes. Then waited at the speaker for 5 minutes. To then be told I can only pay cash. I said it would have been helpful to know that 5 long hungry minutes ago! Then I was told the bell doesn't register all the cars!!! So I said I'll go somewhere else then. I was forced to go to McDonald's! Why don't you try checking the speaker once in a while to see if anyone is waiting !!! Or if there's a problem tell the customer in the beginning! I should have spoken to the manager but I was so angry I had to leave! I know no one will read this as no one thinks let's visit a KFC , no wait, let's check it on Trip Advisor!!! I do like the occasional KFC, however this place is probably one of the worst KFC experiences I have had, although very hot, the chicken portions have gone from the usual small, to minute, more bone than chicken. Better to walk down road to Sainsbury's restaurant.

In a nutshell: AVOID...Luke warm to cold chicken, bad attitude from some staff...make you feel very unwelcome...like you're wasting their time.I first purchased a drive through here about a year ago, sat in a que for nearly 20 mins...no idea why...worst example of fast food ever and to top it off they weren't even busy...half empty inside!I've bought from here a few times recently...the box meal was not in a box...so I wasn't sure I had everything and was confused, the burger was luke warm and had a floppy cold burger bun, the chicken in a feast meal was also almost cold and I felt ill within a few hours...really ill at work the next day.The most recent visit (one last try) a female member of staff was walking around clearly pee'd off with another member of staff and started saying 'for f*%ks sake' under her breath while shouting at him to go away and do something else, then started slamming the till about so hard that change flew out. She slapped my change back in my hand then literally slammed the bag of food down on the counter near me. So rude! She was clearly trying to make a point that I had somehow wasted here precious time! No idea why she was off with me...I was really polite!The place wasn't busy, only about 8 other customers in there eating with about 6 behind me in the que who were all laughing...it really was a joke.This store clearly needs training for several members of staff. Cold KFC by the time you get in the car with the bag...that's pretty poor. And giving customers a hard time because they politely placed an order...what do they expect to happen in a fast food place? I'm not sure they understand the purpose of a KFC!

Cannot fault this place, kfc as you would expect. Friendly staff, very busy when we went but service was still good. Would go again

This was the first time in over four years that I visited a KFC.....and it'll be many more years before I visit again.I was served by a bored looking young man who struggled to smile...actually, he didn't smile it was more of a grimace that he had to interact with a customer. No please or thank you's....I ordered just a chicken fillet burger and drink...I got fries which were very anaemic and cold and soggy...everthing in fact a frie/ chip shouldn't be. The burger had the tiniest bit of something that I think was supposed to be chicken resting on a bed of brown lettuce and a bit of mayo the size of a new 5 pence piece.Dry, tasteless and as unattractive as a meal could be....don't waste your cash, buy a Subway from the garage next door instead.

Ordered lunch at 12 noon a takeaway and tendered legal tender of a five pound note which was refused because they could not get to the bank today. I shall never use the place again.

I visited this store just before 2200 for a well needed treat after a long day. The girl who took my order was lovely and charming however the order I received was far from. My burger had the tiniest bit of chicken in it, I was four mouthfuls deep (almost half of the bun) before I got to any meat. My side chicken must have been sat for a very long time as it was bone dry. I also asked for a side of gravy, this was my main reason for choosing KFC over other fast food around and I drove out of my way to get this to find out my deeply desired gravy was in fact baked beans. To be honest I could have gotten over the other factors with this meal if I had my craving gravy to cover it all in. Huge disappointment. Will have to consider very closely the next time I think of going and make extra time to go into the store so I can check I get what I have asked and paid for. Left still hungry as over half the meal is uneatable (I REALLY hate baked beans and all tomato based sauces)

Had my dinner here 3 nights on the trot , friendly staff , food was good . Situated opposite Travelodge and Services .

A services stop with pleasant toilets! As you'd expect basic reliable food to keep us going on our journey home.

After visiting the Paignton shop and it being the dirtiest place I've ever stepped foot in, I thought I'd brave this different store. Mistake! It was clean enough but the food was shocking. I thought KFC prided itself on similar sized chicken pieces and correctly cooked / coloured chips. My chips were undercooked but I didn't bother complaining after the response I got to pointing out the pathetically small size chicken breast I was served. One was OK but the other was smaller than my thumb. I pointed it out and asked for it to be changed to a blank response. I asked again to be refused a change of the piece I complained about. So I asked if he was happy with the quality of the food he'd served me, was it up to standard in his opinion. I was simply told, if it's cooked then somebody has to be served it!

We went to this KFC as we were passing and were hungry. We haven't been there for a while as we tend to go to the one in the high street. We were impressed with the new style of the restaurant. The staff member who served me was very friendly and helpful, food was piping hot and everything was clean and tidy. So don't take any notice of the negative reviews. We would be more than happy to visit again in the near future.

Walked in to stand on some chips and chicken bones all over the floor! Quite clearly understaffed and tables were full up with left over food, once the food was finally ordered it arrived with soggy skin and they had forgotten two items off of our order! Won't be going back in a hurry!

Probably one of the most awful "meals" that I have been served in many years. The place was dirty, the toilets were out of order, and the restaurant had been sectioned off for no obvious reason, despite being crowded with tourists as well as locals. The chicken fillet with which I was served was not much larger than a chicken nugget, and it was dry and tough, and not particularly hot. The salad element was dry and wilted. The chips were cool, and had obviously been kept warm for some time. We certainly won't be going back there again!

Visited this KFC a few times and it was clean and the staff were friendly,helpful along with the food being freshly cooked and tasty.

We used the drive thru and you get what you expect but the service was very quick and we were in and out in time to get home before the food got cold. the food itself was fine, it was regular KFC and we enjoyed it as a quick meal on a Friday night. One thing they should think about is some toys or kids things in a bucket as our children always want to go to McDonald's for the happy meals.

In the same place as a garage and a small motel. Just the usual menu and service. Just another clone.
