Subway in North Devon

Been here twice and both times I've waited about 5 minutes and nothings happened. First time the guy was actually there sat on his phone, me and the other customer both left. Today there was nobody there but it was open. Nobody showed up, just rubbish service. Maybe employ more than one person.

I was starving this cured that, mmmmmmmm

2 youngsters stayed by the till, 3rd one larking around making a subway for 2 young lassies. Waited 10 minutes, no acknowledgement, just having a laugh with the 2 girls. Walked out.

The Sub rolls were filled with our choice of a large menu, warmed and served in a insulated cardboard sleeve. The were gorgeous! It's a shame, that the surroundings were not so good- as inside a service station. They probably have places of their own, but we sat and ate them there anyway . Will not bother with Burgers etc in future.

One of the best Subways, foods actually fresh, area always looks clean and the staff, who do seem to change a lot, are always very friendly.

Whilst food and atmosphere was brilliant, the air conditioning was set very cold to the point hot sandwiches were cold in about 10 minutes.

It's great when you go there but NEVER order it for delivery, everytime with out fail they will forget to pack half your meal.

Very quick service for subway. Food was as expected. Service was polite and professional. Atmosphere was a bit rubbish because it's part of the BP petrol station but this makes it convenient

Quite literally the worst sandwich I've ever had. Stale bread. Slow service. Old ingredients that tasted like rubber. Sorry but... awful. Just awful. Not exactly cheep either. I'd have had better luck with the petrol station sandwiches.

I only bought coffee and cookies. Staff very friendly.

Myself and my friend went into this subway after a very long day to be greeted by Jess, Ryan and another colleague. All were friendly, knowledgable and professional. Sub was so good one of us ordered seconds☺️

Very friendly staff ! Loved the service. Could use a bit of cleaning on the tables but to have the tables was already a nice surprise.

Awesome meal such a shame it's the only one left for miles after all the closures.

Located in a services but had a nice seating area. Food was fresh and well stocked. The friendly staff were are eager to help. Would definitely stop there again.

Roundswell Subway. Very rude, arrogant and disrespectful staff. The man that served us got the order wrong because he didn’t listen and then got very rude and contradicted me on what I asked for making me out to be the one in the wrong in front of witnesses. Won’t be using this Subway again! Very poor customer service! Wouldn’t even give one star!

Food was good but the girl serving behind the counter (13/05 at approx 1630) was rude. Will go to Anchorwood in future.

The sandwich/roll was very dry and virtually inedible .

The coffee machine wasn't working. They asked if we'd mind if our 3 white coffees were made without hot milk, which we didn't. So they were however made with cold water and cold milk! 🥶 That was all we wanted: 3 white coffees. It took at least 10 minutes to make the worst coffees ever. So we had to have a refund, which we were told could take up to a week. Awful!

2nd time now that my order was missing items. 4 muffins ordered, 1 delivered, not even wrapped, just chucked in the bag, both times. Food was lukewarm at best, and pots of meatballs on their side with lids not attached properly so they leak. Subs with steak have been completely tasteless.

Firstly - take note that despite the very large illuminated sign visible on the main road saying "Subway open 24 hours" they are not. And I have been in at 10pm to be told they are already closed when even the Subway website says they are open until 11pm. Otherwise it's a Subway and when they are open and prepared to serve you it's as good as any other - which in my view is good.

My wrap was not wrapped, I was told this was because I had asked for too much( a single COLD plant patty and salad) but this is the 3rd time. I will now go home and re wrap it, last time I get a subway.

Staff are so rude and just sat round on there phones with loads of customers waiting disgracefull always enjoyed a subway never again from there

There was this old woman, I believe she was the manager but she was incredibly rude to us. We came to eat in but ended up leaving as soon as we got served because she said “I’ll have to kick you out if you’re aren’t going to order anything girls!” When we had literally just sat down. I am not happy and you should fix your customer service.

Went to subway for dinner tonight after a very long journey home (I’m visibly heavily pregnant) to be told as soon as I line up if I want food I have to wait ages as 2 online orders are priority. (Shop was empty bar me and one other person who’s order was complete) This is in no way the staff members fault but why on earth are you taking online orders when you have only one member of staff working?! Expected to wait 15 odd mins for a 6inch basic sub just because lazy people on sofas are priorities. Worst bit is it’s not true first time either. Will be going else where from now on havent for time to wait around for a short staffed place who does online. It should only be online if have the staff to do it!

Subway is Subway the world over you know what to expect good food reasonable price

Store manager Robbie, always a delight when he's on shift, great customer service. you can tell he really enjoys what he does. however, its his staff that let the store down, the rest are all passive aggressive to eachother on the store front which everyone in the shop was very uncomfortable. one member of staff was unnecessary rude towards another, I haven't mentioned names but I did catch the names if needed.

Thank you so much to the man who served me, I suffer from anxiety issues and I'm autistic and he was so very patient with me. Midway through ordering when I was panicking he told me I was doing great and I just want to say that stuck with me all day. Thank you so much kind sir. You made my week. I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name, he has a very kind face and a gentle voice and made me feel so comfortable.

Friendly staff. Tuna sub was nice, could do with another spoon of tuna in it and then it would be perfect. Hot chocolate nice too.

Couldn't get served a single sub from here. Walked in and no customers in there, only to be told that they had orders on that would take 5 minutes and then they were going for their break which would take another 5 so they couldn't serve us. Apalled at the lack of customer service. Why would I stop here again if I can't be sure if I'd be served?

Staff work really hard so thanks to them. Prices are ridiculous. Nearly 10 quid for a sandwich coffee and crisps. NO VALUE FOR THE MONEY.

Was honestly the most terrible lunch i’ve had, one of the subs was so burnt it was black, received half of the items i ordered despite paying full price, poorly wrapped food which resulted in the sandwiches completely falling apart and covering the rest of what little food ACTUALLY arrived in sauce ect. Customer satisfaction is obviously not important as when i called MULTIPLE times throughout the day it rang fully to no answer. Complete waste of money and disappointment will not be ordering from them and i advise others do the same!!!!!

Subway is Subway you know what you are getting always good

Two items missing from the order which to the restaurants credit were refunded, however on closer inspection of the two subways ordered- footlong BLT and footlong Meatball Mariana they weren’t even the right subways- two chicken an bacon footlongs delivered instead! Either a lack of understanding a customer order or complete Incompetency! Shocking from a reputable business and certainly won’t be ordering again! Avoid at all costs!

Stopped to grab dinner on my way home. Not very busy, so no queue for me, happy days. Usual standard selection of options, and high standards of hygiene that i have come to expect from this franchise. 'Cheese and toasted?' Absolutely! Very nice fresh tasty food, hopefully slightly healthier than some fried options available close by. 😎

Shabby with rude staff. I complained but got nowhere.

More staff needed. Staff member Theo deserves alot of credit, for sure he doesn't get paid enough for the stress of working alone during a busy evening shift. The poor guy was having to deal with walk ins as well as online orders, this isn't the first time this store has taken full advantage of this young employee. Not alot of option available on the menu either.

Wonderful staff very friendly the only thing I wasn't happy with was there were two staff serving one customer despite this I love Subway ❤ and will definitely see you again

Ordered using the app which was easy and collected at the suggested time. Very friendly and helpful staff our order was all there and correct. No complaints. :)

Visited twice in one day breakfast visit was great, staff very helpful no issues with menu. Early evening visit no salad leaves or spinach which took the edge off of the experience especially when sainsbury and lidl were within spitting distance.

Very impressed with staff, especially the new trainee that served us. She was friendly, helpful and very polite and made sandwiches like a piece of art. Kitchen was well organized and very clean. Highly recommend a stop here!

After leaving the 2nd half of my subway for my tea I did not expect it to be so good , 7 hours later the remainder of my foot long sub is still good to eat , the lads at roundswell subway took such care in preparing it . Next time I'm passing in a truck I'll be sure to make my stop there , KFC also and some ok parking for hgvs

Yesterday toaster wasn’t working, today card machine wasn’t working. The ladie told me to take off a cookie because I only had enough in change to pay for the rest, should of got the 60p cookie for free but had to go without

Had popped into shop today...... No lettuce, salad not fresh.... Salami not tasty....... Never happened before.... If I eaten my salami Italian there.... I would have given it back Little while before I go back

Always good here, salad bowls fresh and tasty, staff friendly and helpful, coffee hot and flavoursome. A really great place for a good light lunch and so much healthier than your typical "fast food" chain.
