Met up with friends we hadn't seen for many years. The staff here at Greenhill Coffee made us very welcome. Quality of coffee and tea absolutely superb (and I am a very discerning espresso drinker). Cakes are I think all homemade and are delicious. Greenhill offer a level of quality and service sadly lacking in so many coffee bars nowadays. Thank you to all at Greenhill.

Fabulous bread and cakes and lovely friendly staff. I always enjoy their produce and like the fact they support other local small businesses.

We stopped here on the way to see the wild daffodils. The food was very good, nicest salad dressing I have had. Good menu with uncommon choices. The staff were very kind and helpful.

I was so sad that due to ill health I was unable to visit The Barge and say farewell to Tina and her husband who have been welcoming me (a very fussy vegetarian and I mean fussy) since I had my 60th Birthday party meal with family and friends. A whole six years of putting up with my menu choices and not batting an eyelid but laughing with me and my husband as to what I would choose. Thank you both for putting up with me it was always a real pleasure to dine with you. I hope you’ve still got my phone number Tina if you ever fancy a cuppa it would be an honour to meet up Shame though not at the Barge. Take care in your retirement and enjoy every day as it comes. Best takeaway in Chepstow, New owners have definitely adapted well to the restrictions of lockdowns, We always order through Just-eat and have our Fish and chips delivered, Never had a problem with them friendly delivery driver and food always yummy and hot.

Having been disappointed on our last visit we decided to give it another chance so we took our guests for Sunday lunch. Dispite there only being two other tables of diners it took more than 35 minutes for our meal to arrive. Ten minutes after we finished the meal ,the plates were taken away we weren't asked if would like a dessert. 25 minutes after that we paid the bill and left having not seen the waitress since she cleared our table. Food was mediocre

Not been here before. Quirky decor which i really liked. Had a mixed starter. Huge prawn and chicken strip in tempura we excellent. Chicken satay had very tender chicken stripes and a wonderful satay sauce. Some had the thai green and red currys. Good heat but plenty of flavour. I had a beef stir fry and noodles. Beef once again very tender. Would certainly go again. Staff were very attentive and genuinely pleased we enjoyed our meal.

Set in a pleasant village near Chepstow and, despite the Welsh postcode, this pub is in England, on the east side of the Wye. The pub is very much part of the local community and involves itself in charity work as well as hosting coffee mornings and open-mic nights. It's a lovely, traditional pub with a great atmosphere, not particularly smart, but all the better this, and there is also a decent sized beer garden at the front. Food plays an important part here and they have a very good menu, featuring all the usual pub classics such as Steaks, Fish & Chips, Burgers, Sausage & Mash as well as some more interesting selections such as Pork Belly or Pan Roasted Salmon. There's also a Sandwiches & Light Bites menu available lunchtimes. I thoroughly enjoyed the Pork Belly which I selected and, indeed, we all enjoyed our food. The staff are particularly welcoming and friendly here and service is excellent.
