Wild Boar Focaccia is excellent!!! Along with perfect coffee and delicious Carrot cake too! Very helpful and friendly staff. Now our go to stop whilst cycling every Sunday! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed breakfast here to celebrate a birthday, and were not disappointed. We chose the Light Breakfast, but there are plenty of options to suit everyone. A lot of the ingredients are sourced locally, and all cooked and presented beautifully. With a sweet shop as part of the business, it's possible to leave with an extra treat or two for later. Get yourselves down there!

Solo quería decir que visité (aunque brevemente) a Krispy Kreme en este lugar hoy. Soy fan de Krispy Kreme en general y el estándar era excelente como de costumbre. Solo me molesto en escribir esta reseña debido al miembro del personal con el que hablé alrededor de las 3 pm de hoy. Estuvo fantástica, de verdad. Lucho con ansiedad y había entrado con mis hijos. Ella puso a todo el mundo a gusto con unas palabras y fue tan amable y agradable cuando tuve algunas preguntas adicionales sobre el centro comercial que había tenido miedo de hacer en otro lugar. Lo digo en serio cuando digo que esta interacción, aunque insignificante, es por lo que seguiré visitando vuestras tiendas : )

I visit this restaurant pretty regularly and have always been highly impressed with the vast menu and great atmosphere. The staff are always keen to help and the service is fast and efficient. The food here is second to none with a daily specials board and home made sweets. The 2 chef's seem to enjoy healthy competition to produce the most mouth watering dishes and this leads to exquisite results. You must visit this establishment as soon as possible!

We went there to meet some elderly relatives that were visiting the Forest of Dean. Firstly may I say how helpful they were, given that we had two 90 year olds, the lady serving couldn’t have been more helpful, saving a table for five in the window, and when we ordered, she was so polite and helpful. The coffee was excellent much better than we expected, and the paninis and toasted sandwiches were excellent, all served with a smile, and whilst we were sat there chatting for a couple of hours, she even came round and gave us a chocolate. It’s a hidden gem in Lydney, much better than we expected, would certainly recommend dropping in.

Visited for afternoon tea today very poor quality everything was super market bought nothing was home made ,cheap wafer thin ham in the sandwiches not much choice of fillings all white bread no brown ,not clotted cream for the scones it was just thicken double cream ,there was only 1 small pot of cream and jam for 4 people the worst afternoon tea we have ever had and the cost was extorshate £50 for 2people not worth it .

The food was amazing, authentic, reasonably priced, delivered on time & the service was very friendly. That was all despite the fact that there was a power cut in the whole area so they had to finish cooking by candlelight. This was our first order from Khunmae Kitchen but we will definitely be ordering again in the future.

This is such a lovely little cafe, one you might miss if you weren't aware it was there. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and know the regulars well. The food is competitively priced and the ingredients are all fresh and great quality. we choose to take our food away however there is a lovely little area for eating and appeared very family friendly

We spotted this place on nearby things on Google maps and decided to go seek it out, and what a good choice that was. The 2 ladies there were both lovely, very chatty and made us feel like part of their family. We had the cheese scone with onion chutney and OMG it was amazing. It was one of the best we have ever had. Drinks we had a flat white coffee and a hot chocolate and they even let me have a chocolate flake with it which was really good. They do afternoon teas which we will be booking for next time we are in the area. Highly highly recommend a visit here. They are right on the Railway Drive carpark which costs £4 for all day parking, so nice and easy access. Don't hesitate to pop into here, just go and enjoy a warmed cheese scone (other foods are also available lol). We will deffo be returning here again. What a wonderful diner! Excellent service and exceptional food. We were welcomed late in the date with an enthusiastic “Yes!” when we asked if they were still open. Nothing was too much trouble and we spent a long time chatting to the lovely mother and daughter team - sorry for my husband’s constant stories 🤣 The Rocky Road was homemade and to die for! Thank you for a lovely experience.

My husband and I have ordered a takeaway on two occasions when we have been visiting the area on holiday. We have never been disappointed because the food is absolutely delicious. We had Thai fishcakes, chicken satay, chicken wings and prawn toast for starters and Thai green chicken, pad khaprao chicken and jasmine rice for mains - all were delicious. It was really straightforward forward to order and delivery was perfect. We will definitely order again when back in the area and would definitely recommend.

We had our extended family Christmas meal here and it was really fabulous. The food was delicious and the staff warm and friendly. Great experience.

Good pub, nice beer garden, good beer. Recommended
