We had a fabulous family meal at The Bell on Saturday evening and very reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was beautiful (especially the fish pie, which was to die for) Today, The Bell did us proud again when they provided a wonderful after funeral buffet for us at a very reasonable price. The selection of fresh sandwiches and home made cakes was fabulous plus sausage rolls, samosas, pork pies, sausages, dips, salads, crisps, nuts etc etc. Thank you both for looking after us all so well . We will see you again soon. Xx

AWESOME food for vegans, veggies and omnivores. As a vegan to have such a wonderful choice was amazing and so appreciated. My vegan lasagne and garlic bread was delicious. My veggie husband had a fabulous vegetable tikka with all the trimmings. Our relatives had a burger and chips and gammon and egg which came with onion rings. The welcome and service was second to none. The ales are appreciated by all who imbibed. There is a good selection of alcohol free lagers and beers too. Well worth a visit.

Nice little pub with friendly locals , nice food and a nice pint. We broke down close by so popped in for a pizza and a pint while waiting for recovery. We were made at home by the locals and a friendly dog. 👍👍

Lovely black and white timbered pub with 2 areas. A bar and pool table some an open fire. The other side has a bar and open fire but laid out for dining. Also beer garden with some traditional pub games for the summer months. Lovely pizza and gammon the evening we went. Friendly service and cosy pub.

Staying locally found The Bell hits the spot in all ways, except one. The beer is 5*, the staff are 5*, the food is 4.1/2* and the prices are very attractive by modern standards. Unfortunately too many dogs are allowed to freely do what all dogs do, but please not unsupervised in the pub garden. That really doesn’t enhance the summer evening experience. Dave & Lisa - that needs fixing.

Sunday carvery We went for a family meal and we all had a great meal. Really friendly atmosphere, with the owners there on the shop floor with you. We called ahead as one of our party is coeliac and they sorted us out with gluten free options and catered for their needs . Couldn’t do enough . We all had the carvery and plenty of meat and veg. Service for drinks and deserts was excellent. Would we come again ? Most definitely Well recommended

We wanted to book an early dinner for 5.30 but found they didn't start meals until 6.00 pm but they said they would accommodate us which they did.. # Very much a country pub in n a small village but had a good selection of real ales which were well kept. The recommended ale I had was delicious. The menu was a little basic and not too exciting but reasonably priced with decent portions. My hunters chicken was a good portion and delicious. My wife's fish pie was OK but she thought it wasn't seasoned to her taste but she didn't leave any !!! Great service and extremely friendly staff. if we were in the area again I would certainly return.

An extremely lovely meal that was had as a takeaway due to Covid restrictions. The menu offers a wide range of choice, especially given the current circumstances. I must say, it was so nice to have multiple options as a vegetarian. I usually struggle so much, but it was really refreshing to have more than one choice and for it to be a filling pub meal. We will definitely be back. P.s. highly recommend the veggie chilli.

Went to the Bell this evening. Best Covid management arrangements I have seen. Visibly saw tables and chairs cleaned after use. Staff wore face masks, all customers temperature checked, customer name and contact details taken staff worked hard but had time for a chat and had a smile. So while that Side of things was great, the food was exceptional, the beer Moreish and the price real value for money. Prices had noticeably reduced to reflect VAT position. Best experience over the last couple of months. I would happily recommend a visit here WELL DONE THe Bell

Came for second time and wasn’t disappointed with great standard set previously. I’m from a catering family and we eat all over the county for Sunday lunches... so don’t write compliments unless merited. Delightful olde worked pub which does car very....independently owned unlike soulless chain competitors. Meat portion was easily double what some pubs in Hereford give. Help yourself to veg- roasties, parsnips, carrots peas and leeks n ham. Go back if you want more! Landlord is fabulous... friendly and welcoming. The delight is also the price... cheaper than most in Hereford for more food. It’s worth the drive to near Ledbury- easy to find too.

Came here based on other reviews and we weren't disappointed. The starters (creamy garlic mushrooms and a prawn cocktail) were very tasty. The mains were nice too - gammon and a steak. Then the puddings. Delicious salted caramel ice cream and a home made white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, light as a feather and really lovely. The portions aren't for those on diets! The pub itself could do with a bit of modernisation, but don't let this put you off if you're hungry and are happy to let the food and the friendly staff do the talking.

Great tour of the mine. Very interesting and informative. The guide was really good at explaining and he is clearly very passionate about what he does.. You can visit the site for free and without booking, but if you want to go on the mine tour you need to book and pay online via the website. Just beware that the café closes much earlier than advertised and also that some of the information on the website is out of date, including the café menu.

Recommended by the local Dean's Wood campsite with a caveat of it being 'rustic', we enjoyed a very tasty excellent value for money meal and drinks. Our dogs were welcome, and the Land Lady was lovely. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for all weather. With a small play area available for children. Watch out for the local sheep wandering the roads and verges!
