The most incredible gyros I’ve ever had!! Very welcoming/friendly staff, great selection of drinks, nice decor and seating areas, big outdoor space, plus events and live music!!

This is the second time we have stopped here on our way back from Snowdonia, it is a nice pub set back off the road with plenty of parking. There is a nice food selection, and a good selection of drinks. The owners are very friendly and the service is excellent. On both occasions we have stopped the food has been freshly cooked, well presented, tasty and more than sufficient. I would have no hesitation recomending this place to any hungry traveller needing a rest stop.

My wife and I had heard good things about Charlotte’s Cafe so we tried it tonight. The Gyros was lovely. Plenty of chicken, nice salad and some chips. Just enough to be full. Not massively oversized so there’s loads wasted. Beautiful taste and not greasy or spicy - just right. We will be back soon!

Amazing hidden gem, food was amazing! Best gyros we’ve ever eaten. Friendly couple running Charlottes cafe and good value for money!

Popped in on a whim whilst driving past as we were feeling peckish, brilliant decision. Friendly and welcoming staff on entering and as it was a Sunday then had a carvery on which was delicious. Nice atmosphere with music playing, marquee out the back with a few tables then more tables in the garden along with bean bags which gave it a cool vibe.

Thanks for another amazing lunch, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The lunch and cakes were some cracking portions and very reasonably priced, so we look forward to our next visit.

From the moment we walked through the front door we were made to feel welcome. The dining room is warm and cozy, the decor eclectic. With a choice of two menus, the bar or specials there was plenty of choice. The bar menu giving you the option to reduce your per head spend. We all opted for dishes from the specials menu!! We are a family that loves our food. Every dish was beautifully presented, well proportioned and delicious. I can whole heartedly recommend the goats cheese and pesto beignets to start and if you have a big appetite the ribeye surf and turf. There was a great choice of gluten free or gluten free adaptable options and with no gluten contamination in the fryers we could all share the fries. We only managed one dessert between six of us and were delighted with the lemon sorbet presented inside a frozen lemon. The staff were all knowledgeable and willing to help with menu suggestions, and adjustments to suit dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are not in the area it is worth going out of your way to enjoy dinner.

We enjoyed breakfast here to celebrate a birthday, and were not disappointed. We chose the Light Breakfast, but there are plenty of options to suit everyone. A lot of the ingredients are sourced locally, and all cooked and presented beautifully. With a sweet shop as part of the business, it's possible to leave with an extra treat or two for later. Get yourselves down there!
