Excellent food from here no matter what you have, Friday is very busy so expect to que if you're not outside the door when they open 😀

Wow!! Delicious fish and chips. And huge servings. Service was excellent. They were all very patient, friendly and helpful. There's an outside table to enjoy a meal. We would definitely return.

Service was very slow despite only being a few people waiting (when we arrived). Fish and scampi were nice but unfortunately the chips were very dry and had so many thin / small pieces

I know that this place is sacred to the locals. But 35 mins waiting for fish and chips. No logical split between telephone orders and walk in order just makes no sense. The food is not exactly amazing against any other chippy. So I don't really recommend it, unless you grab a lunch maybe.

Delicious fish and chips as always, the batter melts in your mouth. The price was extremely reasonable too , much cheaper than other places we go to. Always served by very pleasant friendly people. We always come here when we visit the Forest of Dean . There is a car park just down from the shop to park in too. Highly recommended

I think this is about the best fish and chip shop in the area. The que whenever we call in would tend to confirm that. Food is very reasonably priced, always cooked fresh with an excellent selection on offer. Would recommend 👌 Take out only.

No one can give these guys anything other than 5 stars! If you can order in advance to avoid the queue. If not remember you are queuing for the exceptional.

Did a good search. Found it after visiting family nearby and well worth it. Best tasting fish and chips in a long time. Would make a detour just to come here. Lush

Stopped off at Frydays when on a day out and didn't disappoint with their reviews! Really good quality food chips weren't greasy, great pies and sausage were good too. Staff were super friendly as well. I really recommend you try here! Handy little car park just around the corner with a bin to pop your rubbish in which is an added bonus.

This is the best fish and chip shop we have discovered in years. The start are friendly and efficient in a busy environment. Every part of our meal was excellent and the battered sausage should win awards.

Rainy day, hunger.... I see a fish and chip shop... I see a car park nearby . I ordered some chips to stave off the hunger. BOOM... Perfect fresh chips delivered and devoured. The shop was full with happy punters... and now I know why. recommended. 🍟

We are two months into our new home in Cinderford, having moved from Norfolk and we decided, on recommendation from a neighbour, to try Littledean fish and chips tonight - "best fish and chips around" to quote our neighbour! We most certainly agree! The cod had a delicious flavour, chips not too greasy - both beautifully cooked, piping hot, generous portions, friendly staff and no bones nor polystyrene! Highly recommended! 👌 👍

I always enjoy their fish and chips, but I regret the passing of the significant discount on the OAP portion. I have never collected an order on a wet, cold night, but I think under such conditions, the waiting facilities might be tiresome.

The fish & chips at Frydays of Littledean is exceptional!!!..they have a good value varied menu and friendly staff. I would definately return if in the area.

I know you hear lots of people praising their local fish & chip shop but... Frydays is easily the best in the county and definitely on the shortlist as the best in the UK. Yes, they're really that good. My family have been eating from here for over twenty years and my sister drives up from Cornwall demanding fish and chips. If you don't believe me look at the queues that form for folk who want the best.

Great fish and chip shop. Nice and hot when I went there it was fresh. Only downside "due to covid" service was a little slow but it was busy and seems popular. And have to say it was 100% worth the wait thanks for a great meal after work
