Very average coffee at a very high price! Poor snack choices and nothing for vegans! Worst of all, they don’t take cash, as if they were trying to usher in the New World Order or keep out the poorest in society. I won’t be coming back.
Good tasting food and quick service. Nice open area in the back to sit down as well. However, it can be quite loud and busy during peak lunch hours. Overall, worth a visit.
Called into eddys to pick up an evening meal waited in the shop for abt 30 mins ordered DonnaKebab’s the donor meat was mushy an tasteless the salad was pathetic and the pitta bread was freezing cold and doughy and the chips earthy and cold will definitely won’t be going back
Nice enough cafe and the cakes are lovely. However they really need to rethink their pricing for children. I paid almost £9 for the smallest sandwich we've ever been given in a cafe, and 3 kids snacks (banana, yoghurt pouch and crisps).... assuming the 3 snacks at the absolute most were £3 it was almost £6 for a sandwich with almost no filling and a tiny slice of thick bread....not overly suitable for a toddler.
Unfortunately it's unlikely i would return and it's a shame as there isn't much suitable in the city centre for kids. There should be a kids menu for £5-6 as there is in most places, even if this consisted of 1 less snack it would be more affordable for many families.
“I was so impressed with my burger this evening ! I tried the Aventador and my girlfirend got the Double Cheese We both finished our whole plates and were so impressed with the quality of the food and the short amount of time it took to receive it. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back!
I went to the Costa in the high street had a lovely toasted ham and cheese sandwich and a huge cappacino
Now I must say JAKE what a gem he served my friend and I was really pleasant bought our food to the table I lost my receipt and wanted to use the toilet so he wrote the number down for me

Rice had gone brown, was dry. Ordered salt and pepper chips also, they were not even cooked properly and were hard in the middle.
Kung po chicken tastes like a jar of sweet and sour sauce was in it.
Crispy chilli beef was awful.
I said I was unhappy with the entire order and was offered only a refund for the 2 egg fried rice.
For £35 and being a first time customer I would have thought it would be good. Clearly not.
Order arrived in 30 minutes, as I have worked in the takeaway industry in the past, The food cannot go that bad in that small amount of time.
This branch of Pizza Hut is due to close soon (according to local news websites), so we decided to take one last trip as a family as we have nice memories of eating here. The food from the kitchen was nice and the salad bar fine, however the ice cream factory wasn’t working and looking a bit sad with ice cream all over the sprinkle shakers, there was no ice in the drinks machine either.
We enjoyed our meal but it so sad to see what covid-era online ordering and tight budgets are doing to family restaurants like these. They ask you to order online yourself, website decent enough but takes ages as we have to enter everything. You pay first and are asked if you want to leave a tip, well, not yet as we have not yet had any service.... and we didn’t really from then on, most of it was self-service (which the kids love) but our waitress was so overworked that she had no chance of clearing tables or being present to respond to what people needed - kept having to get up and go to front of house/delivery and ask. Again just completely not her fault, cutbacks mean there are just nowhere near enough staff out on the floor, everyone was hardworking and pleasant when we dealt with them, it’s just frustrating to have your dessert among dusty dishes from your main course.
Pizza Hut is not a cheap night out and I’d so much rather pay a little more for it to be a proper restaurant again with someone taking your order and paying at the end.
