We had 3 nights staying here, we really enjoyed our stay. Food was fabulous for breakfast and evening meals, great choice and perfectly cooked. It a quirky old mill with a mishmash layout but a wonderfully hot powerful shower. Curtains in our room needed replacing and no internet while we were staying but still a great value stay.

Purchased the large traditional Cornish pasty and sat opposite to eat (abit chilly in April) but the pasty was crisp, but butter flakes that melt in your mouth, with a fantastic taste of beef and vegetables š it was delicious and delightful š Back home now and wish they done online orders I would be buying every month x Thanks for a beautiful pasty!!

What a treat to celebrate my grandads 80th birthday in this magical hotel and restaurant. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with amazing character and the restaurant is no different. The staff were all amazing and wonderful to have met the owner too. Our food was delicious and my children (9&10) were made to feel very special and welcome too. Can not wait to return.

Very friendly, family run cafe, which is frequented by my many of the locals. Indoor & outdoor seating. Specials board. Sandwiches are made to order & you can choose from white or wholemeal bread. Pasties are popular as they sold out the day that we were there. Cream teas are also popular. Toilets are inside cafe & are very clean.

I hate to leave anything but a lovely review for the NT, I so much prefer them to the barely disguised mafiosos of the British Heritage racket. But this place really let them down. And I do also feel awful for the subject of my ire, as she seemed such a nice lady. But honestly, you do not need a greeter at the door. It just gave off such a reek of desperation. God knows why this woman is employed to stand at the door and brightly say hello to every punter who walks in, but it is really off putting. This isnāt some Walmart in Chattanooga, itās a twee little cafe and gift shop in Boscastle. Please give her a better job, she did seem nice and sheās just doing as told, but that is wasted potential and gives prospective shoppers the ick. I would have bought that chopping board with the octopus had I not felt so aggravated by such an overtly, unnecessary greeting. Weāre all better than that.

I read lots of reviews about the Horseshoe Inn being good. We found it far from that. We felt very uncomfortable when we came in. The landlord was sat chatting to friends and we didnāt get much of a welcome. We ordered food which took an hour & quarter to arrive which considering we were a table of four and the only ones eating was far too long to wait. The food was mediocre but overall the whole experience was poor.

Lovely clean, freshly painted, comfortable room in a perfect location. The staff are friendly and helpful, we cannot find any fault with this place and as a bonus the food in both the bar and breakfast room is spot on, highly recommend the fish and chips.... Delicious.

This is a really nice hotel, the room was very clean . Breakfast was good with options for vegetarian and gluten free. The owner was very helpful . Close to the castle and merlins cave also local pubs and restaurants. We will definitely be going back. I recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing Sunday carvery today at The Wootons Inn, beautifully cooked beef and moist gammon with loads of vegetable options, massive yorkshire pudding and plenty of gravy. One of our guests couldnāt eat red meat for dietary purposes and the chef was most accommodating cooking a chicken breast. Lovely conservatory and we were able to take our dogs in which was great. Thank you very much and well done, weāll definitely be back.

Popped into Tintagel as a quick drop off and with the town only having two chip shops, we stopped at the one closest to our car park. Two separate orders given at the same time and a loooong wait. Two fish and chips, 40 mins from order to being ready then another 15/ 20 min wait for the second order in addition. Nearly a whole hour wait from order to being able to leave and eat. Covid being the excuse given for waiting and if you order and donāt want to wait, then tough. Because of Covid no refunds. The locals know this and phone their orders through way beforehand and we had a number of collections occur before our delivery was ready. Portions though were of a good size and at around Ā£7 for fish and chips, I would say that quantity was done for the sake of quality.
