Stopped here after visiting the castle for a scone and tea. Top notch scones, absolutely lovely! And good service as well. Thanks team 👍

Such a lovely experience after exploring Tintagel castle. We sat outside and ordered from the hatch from a warm staff member. We had a delicious deluxe hot chocolate, slice of lime and passion fruit cake, a sausage roll and a very delicious curried vegetable pasty. A lovely spot to enjoy the views and food before the walk back.

Do not bother with this typical English Heritage rip.off cafe ..there are much nicer ones with better food in the village at top.Very expensive and the plain scone we had was dry hard and crumbly more like a biscuit than a scone.I had a savoury cream tea..the cheese scone was ok would have been nicer warm and the cheese was bland..the chutney nice but the tiniest tub.It is served conveyor belt style in a cardboard tray..ditto the cups. The only thing making it worthwhile is its strategic location with amazing views.Next time i would wait until i got back up to top for refreshment. But it fits with the over priced gift shop selling expensive tat..£40 for a mass produced small statue..really?Fridge magnets cheaper in gift shops above too.The little museum display good and toilets welcome..but a tourist trap.Of course it in no way detracts from the amazing castle ruins and landscape.

After ordering coffee we were told no bacon rolls available until 11am! Bit late for breakfast so went elsewhere. Disappointing

Hot chocolate was nice. Not the cheapest, but that is because it’s a tourist cafe.

Camper Info (25/06/23) After reaching the rope bridge, go down to the refreshment point to rest and eat something. Here you will find the only toilets of the visit available. While you relax, observe the view of the bridge, the beach below and Merlin's cave. From the refreshment point to go back up there is a convenient service which with a Rover will take you back to the top for the cost of 2.5 pounds

Nice place to relax and sip refreshments..bit pricey as one would expect right on top of tourist attractions...beautiful scenery all around ....plenty of seating... Only downside was coffee was very weak indeed...could do better as cornish coffee is usually best if you like your brew...unfortunately this tasted like natts! Better off going into village as there's plenty of cafes there serving most things food and drink...

Clean, polite staff and reasonable prices given location. The Cornish savory coffee or tea prices at £5.95 was excellent value. With hot drink, Cheese, Apple chutney and Scone. Recommended.

Mini ice cream scoop for a whopping £3.3 - it didn't even fill the cone completely and sank into the cone. Somehow the guy at the counter had even managed to form a ball that was hollow inside. The taste of the ice cream was terrible and the waiting time was forever long, not because there was so much going on, but because people simply worked slowly. Unfortunately you can't give zero stars... Tourist Trap!

The pasty was delicious reasonably priced and the ice creams were even better, as it was bank holiday it was very busy so did run out of ice cream choices 🍦

Asked for two hot chocolates told them they were for children they served them up snd before I could check my grandson had taken a gulp and burned all the inside of his mouth and tongue Tool them back and told then they seemed uninterested tipped half out snd topped up with milk. Please check how hot chocolate drink is before giving your children, though I told them they were for kids they still swerved them steaming hot.

Stopped for coffee and hot chocolate, shame they ran out of flakes for the hot chocolate! A bit expensive, but it was a cold wet day, and it is a tourist attraction. Polite and helpful staff.

A decent small café beneath the castle overlooking the rocky beach. No parking at all for customers except for the shuttle Land rover to ferry people back to the ticket office.

Fantastic refreshment at a wonderful site. Plenty of vegan and gluten free options for food and cakes and a good selection of hot and cold drinks. Both indoor and outdoor seating (although watch out for the wind!)

Nice enough place, decent selection of food and drinks and some seating. Nice views as well, but a little pricey, presumably due to having a captive audience.

Good selection of food and drinks. No seating available at the moment. The queue system could be better as it is quite confusing for some people, even though there is a one way route around. Prices are reasonable for a sea side cafe.

Nice setting but the scones were the worst I've had in Cornwall. They were so dry they crumbled as soon as I tried to add the clotted cream, which was so hard it actually acted as glue to stick it back together again.

Overfilled my tea although I politely and specifically asked for less water (had to throw a third in the bush as it was just scalding).

We've been here a few times over the years and had good food - lunches (crab sarnie and rarebit recommended). Sadly yesterday the scones we had were overbaked and were on the cusp of burnt (orangey brown on outside with a half centimetre "crust", very very dry throughout, heavily icing sugared to disguise). Really poor - shouldn't have been served. I have had much better there so know they can do it. Fruit scones were substantially smaller than plain too. The earl grey tea - Twinings "The Earl" - was very soapy flavoured.

Sadly the castle is closed for bridge repairs but the shop and information centre and cafe are open. There is a very steep and long walk to get down. My mobility wasn't great and fluctuates so I would've loved a run back up in one of their jeeps. The staff were chatty and helpful. Lovely location for a cafe and wee did take advantage of the refreshments and very welcomed picnick seats. There are toilets at the bottom too.

Great walks around the cliff top, really appreciate the cafe after all that climbing about. Would have given it 5 stars if the landrover service would have been working to save the walk back up to the village

This Café is near the entrance to the Tintagel Castle. The location was nice, interior welcoming and warm. We initially wanted hot food but the day we visited the staff told that they were not serving hot food for some reason. The staff are nice and friendly. We ordered coffee and a really nice cake here.

Very very busy with two ladies serving in a stressful atmosphere and yet they were great, especially Helen. Well done! Coffee was great and seasonal berry slice.

If I could give 0 stars I would that is the worst Chinese I have ever tasted. Chicken balls hardly any meat greasy and burnt taste. Crispy beef crap oily/fishy taste. If you want a Chinese don’t go here!! Also no free prawn crackers on a large order over £50!
