JJ Kebab in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We had a combination kebab and a kiev parmasan last night 28/07/24 and it was disgusting dry, undercooked and no flavour. Spent all night on the toilet as a piece of chicken was undercooked, been using jjs for over 10 years. So sad as usually ok.

Quick services when you walk in from the street. Food is always cooked well. Best pizzas in Camborne in my opinion.

Tried so many kabab shops in Cornwall and just came to conclusion maybe just give up until I found jjs well happy. Now to try jj chicken next door.

Kebab was really nice, chicken an lamb sheesh was nicely marinated an had that lovely griddle taste...lamb donner was nice an salty, not overcooked at all, was a little thinly shaved but lovely an plenty of it, even the chicken donner meat was nice. Definitely needs a thick naan bread tho as the tortilla wrap it comes with isn't up to the job lol. Over all a very nice kebab an will definitely be my go to kebab house. Highly recommended 👌

Unfortunately had to be one of the most disappointing kebabs that I have tried recently. Whilst the meat was cooked nicely it was very bland and underseasoned. Some of the vegetables didn't taste all that fresh. The chilli sauce requested was either not there or again very bland.

Perfectly cooked chips with the right amount of crunch. As always the Donna meat was very nice.

Im a truck driver and i eat kebabs all over, this is one of the best. Lamb doner with extra meat. Nice thin meat, lots of it and very tasty.

Such a good food, after driving 5 hours I've get a decent size chicken with friend m fries and salad. I recommend to everyone who have a taste for chicken

Cheese burger didn't have any flavour had a lot of oil and grease and cheese slice on burger tasted sour, chips tasted buttery. JJ's has gone horrible over the years!

Tasty, fast, massive portions. Won't be ordering from anywhere else for a kebab. Portion size was huge! Crammed packed with banging food!

Good and tasty food, unfortunately sent out in unenviromentally friendly packaging (polystyrene). Won’t be buying again until you change your packaging policy.

Had pizza from hear last night normally there really good but was very disappointed pizza was cold chips where soggy and cold won’t be ordering from hear again waste of money

We ordered Parmasan chicken with extra bbq sauce. Normal Mayonnaise and chilli sauce. What we received was no bbq sauce. Garlic Mayonnaise and no chilli sauce. The chicken was dry as well. Not to the standard that we usually have. Disappointed say the least.

The whole family enjoys JJ's, great food and a great service.

The food is good, however I do miss the homemade coleslaw they used to do.

Kebab was tasty, fries were OK but let down by the fact it was only warm and not hot. After the reply I got on here, it seems that either they don't read these reviews properly or they have another reason for saying "We’re glad that you loved your meal. We are always trying our best to make your experience memorable, and we’re glad that we’ve achieved it!", which I obviously didn't love their meal and the only thing memorable, was that if my next meal is similar, I won't be going back. (Only going back because everyone deserves a second chance).

The most disappointing doner meat and chips I've ever had!!

Always remember what exactly my needs are when mixing sauces around with what should go where, have always had consistent quality tasting food. Never any misunderstanding about what is said and have even served me when it was closing time on the dot the manager himself served me as the lights were dimmed down and the staff were packing up and saw them all clean the facility which is good to see because I'm a regular customer. Personally I wish it was a tiny bit cheaper but the number of staff there need the little extra.

Just had a kebab and actually had raw bit of chicken!! Wasn't hot either so won't be going there for a while, also my husband ordered online and still had to wait!! So kebab went in the bin!!!.

Purchased kebab requested no cabbage when I got home plastered in coleslaw yuk

Not good food was cold very cold, Considering me and my partner order from Jjs USA chicken 2 / 3 times a week not happy

April 2021. First time I had pizza from here. Ide give it 10/10 this meal would have cost £30 in Domino's. I know who Ile be using from now on. 😊

Bang on AVERAGE, not delicious. A waste of money, wish I got from Deanos but we wanted to see which was better, definitely Deanos!

Good food and quality however sometimes but slow with orders and need to wait for long time

Food was really good but a bit cold cos we placed our order over the phone but when we arrived there was a queue and someone was complaining on the phone so it was a while before I was served. Maybe at peak times there should be someone just answering the phone and another taking/handing out orders. Having said that the food was good and there was plenty of it. We will be back

Brilliant food. Also have good community values and have a duty of care to their customers. If things go wrong from their end, they will ring up, explain and apologise. So much respect for the customers they serve.

Always perfect food , can't fault it

Ordered for delivery to Redruth asking for 8.30pm , was told cant guarantee that time but would be just after that , we called at 8.42pm was told it had been sent out and would be with us within 10 minutes and at 9.15pm food rocks up cold!!! Sent the food back !!which is a shame because we always have our kebabs from them but not any more!!!!

Quick an easy meal to take away

Came to Cornwall for a holiday I’m very fussy when it comes to food but I have to say the kebabs in this place are well cooked and taste great. We will be back next year and hope nothing has changed when getting a takeaway. LOVELY FOOD!

These guys are good kebabs pizzas etc. My only concren they claim to do a Chicken Parmo thats not a proper Parmo. Im from teesside where the Parmo was born. Bossman have a trip to Middlesbrough sometime to improve your Parmo game. Nice to see it on the Menu though UTB!!

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. Ordered a pizza, arrived 30 minutes late and freezing cold. Driver called from a completely different village and couldn’t even hold a conversation. When we called to complain, the manager told us to F off and to bring the pizza back. So shocking and would never ever order again.

Working 30-40 meters away from JJ Kebab.. I was unable to leave the shop as I am working alone. Phoned up to see if i can order for pick up to avoid the delivery charge.. was amazed to hear the manager say i had to pay £2 for them to walk 15 seconds down the road. Lost out on my order and all future orders for the sake of a 15 second walk.

Had a delivery; very prompt, well priced, but most importantly the food was of particularly great standard. I would recommend to all and will order again for sure

Had a takeaway while on holiday. Great food, very tasty, good size portions, fast service. Served by pleasant and polite staff

Friendly staff will do anything to help. Shop has been refurbished so now looking all fresh and new shop very impressive when you walk in. The food is really good and cooked to perfection definitely will be returning.

I was recommended to come here by a friend for a kebab. Miserable grumpy staff, food wasn't really that good, they don't do spiced potatoes, and they accepted cash only (although they don't have any signs indicating this). The portions were a good size though. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again and if they're better, I'll change this review.

Nice kebab - real fast service.

Horrible dried out chunks of i assume the chicken I ordered was given to me for my overpriced food item so terrible food and owner Mr jj is not only a theif as he was convicted of the theft of gas used in the various takeaways he owned but while enabling the theft with a spot of meter tampering endangered the local people's lives with regards to immediate vicinity those farther afield also possibly could have died if am explosion took place so dont help fund the criminal enterprise as I'm sure all savings on gas got piped into acquiring more takeaways instead and as for amount stolen I cannot be sure exactly of overall figure but had been in the tens of thousands and was minimum 30 thousand and maximum 1 million plus should've deported him back to Turkey then as isn't it what happens to any non UK national convicted criminal these days all I assume that is apart from Mr jj and Mr role Harris I would suppose so in short stay away if you enjoy life or like to eat meals of a standard better than overcooked hard chicken breast tasting distinctly of whatever your imagination could conjour in way of horrid taste sensations

Massive serving of chicken parmesan and well cooked. Value for money. Create your own pizza option. Takeaway meals do not come with cutlery so some are not suitable for picnics.

I never normally go for this kind of takeaway I love curry and fish and chips! But I love the chicken wrap they do it’s so good! It’s good all round and the prices are fair.

I revisited this place last evening, after work and had a takeaway donner kebap. I was pleasantly surprised to find the place nicely spruced up and the food tasting fresher. Well done, J&J.

Delivery is rubbish costs a lot more !!over charged me 3 times and food was cold.. so much better and hotter going to get it yourself and you won't get over charged !

The fish was ok but chips were too crisp

Food is of reasonable quality, but it is a lottery as to wether they get an order right for home delivery. Several times our home order has turned up wrong, in fairness they have redelivered part of the order, but most people like to eat together! When placing an order for home delivery and they ask what you want in the way of sauces, chilli sauce etc dont waste your breath, they'll deliver whatever they fancy !!
