The best restaurants in St Mewan Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Absolutely delicious non greasy amazing fish & chips. The best I have had in Cornwall! Service was very efficient, friendly & fast. I would definitely recommend 100%.

Great bar. Cosy inside in winter, great beer garden for the summer.

Too bad we only found this restaurant the last night we stayed nearby.

Attended with a group of a dozen friends on a mud-week evening. Good food, good beer (Proper Job), reasonable prices, friendly service and a great way to spend an evening

We sat with our coats on it was so cold inside. We had a 15 minute wait before staff realised we were there 2 couples in the restaurant. We had popadoms with only a 3 tray pickle which was poor. We had a mediocre main meal. The Naan garlic and coriander great. Rice was ok. We won’t be back.

Found by accident after a walk on nearby Holywell Bay, and stopped for lunch. Lovely old pub interior and met with a friendly welcome. I had the venison pie from the specials board, and it was very tasty. Quick, friendly service and tasty food. Will remember it next time we are down in Cornwall.

Stopped by today for lunch. We are a family of four and all of us said the food was 10/10. Service was excellent and food came out quickly. We will certainly pop in again the next time we are passing. We also felt the kids meals represented great value for money. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

All I can say is 100% all round. Staff were fantastic , food was delicious with good portion sizes and good value for money Nothing stood out in particular as it all did!

Had a wonderful Xmas dinner there, food sourced almost entirely from their own garden and it was truly delicious alongside a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. We had 3 courses and that was almost too much, very generous and really tasty and perfectly seasoned and a delicious Xmas pud to end with. Finished off with a walk round the enchanting night garden. A wonderful few hours spent there, all of them wonderful.

Very friendly staff and lovely food. We had the lamb roast dinner. Would definitely go back as the place at a great vibe.

I thought customer facing staff are taught how to give a professional service, she definitely didn't. I will not allow a teen to look me up and down, horrible as we are paying their wages.

Ordered food for delivery, told lady twice to deliver at 7pm, delivered at 5.45pm, salt and pepper squid at coating very little squid, King prawn chop suey all sauce 4 prawns. Stated no water chestnut, guess what their there
