Just visited for takeaway dinner, stood at counter for ten minutes, woman behind counter was busy but didn't even acknowledge my presence. Finished what she was doing, still didn't look at me and then proceeded to answer the phone when it rang. So I left, I have been a regular customer here for a long time. Some time ago I even waited outside and watched to ensure the safety of staff when someone was being abusive ready to call police if needed.which at the time they called me to thank me for. Customer service clearly no longer a priority.

i recommend this chinese takeaway, good tasty food, ample portions, reasonably priced, a very good delivery service, we enjoyed our meals from here.

Llegamos a recoger a las 19:50 y asistente dijo que no tenían orden y tenía que pedir en la tienda el asistente luego fuimos bajo el 20 y se aproximó hasta 30 recibos para los pedidos. . . Y fue allí. . . . Asistente pidió disculpas por la confusión. . . . . Esperamos hasta las 20:15 dieron la orden. antes . . Había otras personas que habían estado esperando allí 30 / 45 minutos de pedidos. . . A la izquierda de la tienda. y era parte del inicio y nos dimos cuenta de orden era corto volvimos a decir y me dieron tema desaparecidos y disculpas de nuevo me dijo es que todos después de esperar una orden que no estaba ni siquiera procesados después que envié un correo electrónico a decir que app estaba lista y luego orden corto. . . Y disculpas. . . . No contento por el tiempo que me dieron comida casa estaba fría y no pudo ponerse en contacto con el palacio de jade dediquen todo el tiempo. . . . Muy, MUY MAL SERVICIO AL CLIENTE. . . . . .

Pedimos tomar lejos de aquí y yo terminamos con orden equivocada y una paz de lana de alambre en mi comida. No me gusta en absoluto y lo tiró más de lejos. Y la entrega era bastante caro.

If I could leave the rating bar empty I would. Really dreadful "Chinese" tasted very English lol I know how that sounds but the rice was bland and tasteless......the chicken was far too salty and same with the won ton.....actually the won ton was cooked well it was edible and tasted good despite the salt. However over all the food was lukewarm when it arrived. Portion sizes are very small so food is generally over priced. I usually use a different Chinese and they charge less for a lot larger portion. I will avoid eating here again in the future.

The delivery service was very fast , which definitely goes to show how much effort they actually put into their food to make it taste nice. Everything was very oily/greasy and didn't have much flavour. The sauces were very watery and the beef curry I ordered had a very strange taste and smell which led me to believe it was off =/ so I didn't even get to eat all of what I ordered. Disappointed and disgusted really to get that after the pricing was also slightly more expensive than others around. Very sad and unsatisfied.

I have had takeaway from Jade Palace now several times in order to give it a fair review. The food is average; there is no drive or ambition for it to be good or high quality. It tastes fine, it's reflective of standard Chinese food, but nothing to drive customers back through the doors again fast. The service at the counter is generally disinterested, borderline bored. It's barely curteous, if not disinterested. Definitely better available in the area, but good for a quick and easy takeaway if that's what you want.

Good to have a local Chinese Take Away. good range of dishes. have used them since they opened. Tasty food but have noted recently that the 'Veg' content of certain dishes is increasing and the 'meat' content is reducing. Please get back to how you used to be.

So this is the second time I've gone here. The first time I orderd online went at the time stated and then I got told it hadn't been seen or cooked so I had to wait further 30minutes and then the duck was under potioned and dry. The second time I went it wasn't any better I orderd bbq ribs, king prawn chow main, egg fried rice and chips, well the ribs sauce was salty the chow main was tasteless and dry the rice didn't taste of anything and was dry but the chips where nice.

Have never been disappointed with the food but after a week ago we are never coming here again. Ordered chicken chow mein, as soon as we opened the lid it stunk of cigarette smoke! Absoutely discusting! There was no way we could eat it! But we thought we would give them a call to explain and get our money back just for those meals and the guy explained that he would get the manager to call back! But we never got a call back! So unprofessional.

We always order from this Chinese becouse it's usually consistent and tasty but over the last few months the food has got worse and worse. Last night we ordered our usual selection of food and it was awful. The sweet and sour Kong Kong style was disgusting and unedable even after a few wines! the chicken was hard and chewy!! The sauce was salty and unpleasant. The chips were cold and dry! The duck in bbq sauce was also salty with no other taste the meat chewy and fatty and didn't resemble duck! The crispy beef chilli was the only dish that had a slight flavour but was not crispy but very stringy and soggy I would have phoned to complain but it was very late and we were all tired instead we will not order from there again. I myself have worked in a Chinese restaurant for 10 years so I am a tough critic when it comes to the food . This was like old Chinese food microwaved and extra salt added for flavour .

Valentines evening, what a disappointment. Food was swimming in grease, not at all tasty and could not eat it. Nothing more to say, can't recommend, won't be going again

We ordered at 7:25 online and were quoted an hour for delivery. We had people in for the evening. At gone 9pm still no food and the phone line was permanently engaged so we drove to the shop. Firstly I was told there was no record of the order but when I quoted a number it was located and I was told it was being cooked. Another lady waiting said she had had the same problem. We then waited 20 minutes for it to be cooked and chatted to the delivery drivers. It seems that they take the phone off the hook when busy so you can't even get through to find out where the food is. To cap it all when I was told the amount to pay I was still being charged for the delivery!! Will not be using again, Had I not had guests at home waiting I'd have left once the food was ready!!

Good food but shocking delivery time.food ordered at 6.25 pm it's mow 8.10pm phoned to see where order is not even been cooked let alone delivered..

We used to use this place a bit for delivering chinese food to Mevagissey if our local was shut.We used to quite enjoy it but have quickly gone off it after a horrible meal. I had a Thai green curry (i know its not chinese!) It was too thick and tasted very "fake". I ordered Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs for starters and never had anything from a chinese so disgusting, they were (if you can imagine) like the knuckles off fingers - I have never tried it but thats how I would imagine them! They were tiny morsels, absoultley no meat (I do not exaggerate), all gristle and to top it off thick, greasy batter smothering the chewy meatless grime.... How they can call them spare ribs, i do not know. Not only was it awful, but rather expensive also.

Always impressed by how quickly they deliver the food! It always turns up perfectly cooked and tasting lovely!Would highly recommend the Mongolian Chicken!

As the title suggests good experience all round!Would do more than recommend would take friends there again and again!
