The best restaurants in St Austell Gover Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Rang up today Thursday 15th August to book a table to eat for four of us next Thursday lunchtime to be told They don't serve food anymore...very very disappointed.website needs updating...

Love the fresh crab sandwiches here, but sadly today they were not available. Had fish and chips instead which was lovely and crisp. Ate outside and a seagull was waiting for scraps but it didn’t get a chance to. Local beer was Hella which spot on 👍

Best Chinese I've had in years. Service was superb, KC was a breath of fresh air, with everything from reading the room and getting it right to ordering Sad shandy's and Rattler flavoured Rattlers. Very well catered for gluten free options 10/10, We have already booked our return visit. Superb 10/10

I don't consider myself an expert, but I've had my share of pasties over the years and I thought the one I tried from here was among the best I've had.

The friendly team here have a real committment to cask ale - beers in excellent condition, meant we visited again and stayed for longer.

This was a great place for a casual solo meal whilst visiting the local area. Staff were lovely, made me feel welcome and were attentive and the food was excellent!

The lady who was taking phone orders this evening was very rude over the phone. Also, they’re in the wrong place on Google Maps. If you’re in St Austell, don’t go here because they’re in Bugle, but St Austell as it says on maps (which isn’t their fault)

Had a lovely breakfast, just the right amount with the eggs and bacon cooked perfectly. Nice big strong cappuccino and all very cheap, took a little while for food to arrive but other than that couldn't fault it.

Excellent food,fish and chips are excellent. friendly staff and owners are wonderful. Totally reccomend. Best fish and chip shop I've been to in a long time.

Possibly the best pizzas I’ve eaten. And a delicious salad. It was just like sitting in a Mediterranean cafe on an October day. Wish it was nearer home!

Honestly I'm still fuming. We pre orderd at 6pm Friday. For 7.45... 9.15 it arrived cold. We had already eaten due to the fact we were starving. No apology nothing. I sent a message to cancel and they still rocked up 9.15pm. . If you can't make it then just be honest and say and we will make alternative arrangements. But to take our money and deliver it when it's convenient to you is not acceptable. It's all still in un opened

Had 2 sauage and chips and a child's sauage and chips got charged £17.10 was dry and very overpriced I've been going there for years must have new owners won't be going again

Great value great service all around I would honestly recommend this place any day I have veggie meal absolutely fantastic.

Worst mango bubble tea i have ever drink ☹️ Hot water with few ice cubes and mango syrup. Couldn’t even finish it Salted caramel frappe 🧐 skimmed milk and cream Staff maybe new and need more training
