Great place great staff great food a really good atmosphere and a wonderfully painted floor which caught my eye upon walking through the door

Great place for authentic Thai food! I went here a couple of weeks ago with a friend and I can not recommend it enough, the pad Thai was amazing and I’d definitely have it again, chaba is so friendly along with the other staff! Very fast and friendly service. I will definitely visit again!

Brilliant little gem, great food and outstanding owners. There is a friendly dog called Blue, I think, and cafe is dog friendly, though we don’t have one. The cafe is in a former chapel; downstairs sells art material, and art classes take place in a nearby outbuilding. There is a large carpark. We visited twice this week; the second visit was because I managed to lose our car keys! We had the focaccia with salad - mine was delicious with blue cheese, toasted walnuts and pear, with coleslaw, salad leaves with balsamic and crisps, together with a very tasty coffee. There were also some lovely cakes on display. Sara was very friendly, saying we were welcome to leave our car there and suggested a short cut to Cardinham Woods, as parking so expensive there. Unfortunately when we returned, I had lost our keys, and so David very kindly unlocked the cafe for us, offered to phone anyone. and offered the use of the spotless, immaculate toilet outside. Thank you so much David - we will be back.

Awesome food brilliant customer service

We had the set lunch here today and what an experience. This restaurant oozes quality, when we had ordered our food our wine arrived in glasses of such quality that I have never seen in a restaurant before. The wine was excellent as well. When the food arrived it was so well presented and delicious that I would have expected to pay more. The service was excellent and all in all a great experience. I would recommend a visit if you are interested in a quality experience.

Met with friends for a much needed catch up. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in comfortable, ambient surroundings. Thank you so much!

Wow! We stayed here as they offer free camping if you purchase meals in the pub. Utterly worth it. The bar staff were fab - friendly and efficient and definitely part of the charm. The food....the photos don't do the meals justice! I ordered the scotch egg for starters...literally perfect! The yolk! My hubbie had the chicken wings and he said they were great! I had the steak...not cheap but so worth it! It honestly has to be the best steak I've had so far and I am steak fussy! Hubbie had the lamb and he was utterly impressed. There are two shower rooms with a toilet / sink area (first one's lock is broken). Second has two showers in, so for any parents, this is ideal. I have to say, the folks in the bar of an evening were also super-friendly. So far, one of our favourite camping stop-overs! Food, staff, area....amazing! Thank you.

Absolutely lovely traditional British cafe, and the owner Tony is brilliant. We had a mega breakfast, two jacket potatoes (wide range of toppings) and a packed chicken salad sandwich, along with drinks. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back. Tony has owned the cafe for over over 40 years and you can tell his passion and commitment to his business. The staff were lovely and we were very impressed.

What a gem bizarrely found it when looking on wetherspoons locator! Staff were pleasant and friendly. The food excellent cooked to perfection they were able to provide for a vegetarian and a celiac in our party without batting an eyelid. The room was perfect and the background music just at the right volume. We were intrigued by the left hand clock above the bar as we left. We will definitely recommend them

We stopped here for breakfast as we were passing through Bodmin and we were pleasantly surprised. Lovely breakfast, comfortable environment and service was amazing.

Popped in on the way home from work after finishing late. Bought a chicken burger and chips and I have to say it was really delicious. I will come back.

An absolutely fantastic Indian restaurant that made us very happy for my daughter’s birthday. We had various starters - delicious onion bhajis and samosas - followed by saffron chicken biryani, a balti and a tikka masala. Lovely fresh fluffy Nan bread. We will be back.

I think over it's time as a cafe serving excellent food,it has gone down in some areas! The teacakes are a disaster.. .as it cools it is like CARDBOARD. A better variety is required. A disaster.

Placed right for a quick warm drink. Carrot cake good as usual. Latte and Black Coffee with hot milk is always best. Staff anywhere we go in a Costa is good standard very friendly and helpful and efficient.

Absolutely gorgeous evening meal, I had slow roast pork belly, apple gravy and veg my wife had beef cheek and veg, nothing was a problem lovely staff, reasonably price very impressed
