We had lunch here after visiting the art shop that Coby’s is above. The food was superb, my son is a celiac and hey did him a jacket potato with beans and cheese with no issues, he’s a very wary ester and wolfed it down. My wife had a scone which she says was lovely. The ploughman’s I had was gorgeous with a good variety on the plate. I would recommend this cafe to anyone

On walking in i was greeted by a polite smiling member of staff. I was shown to a table where after reading the menu my food and drink choices were taken. My coffee was brought over and a polite young lady brought my food out. I would definitely recommend Cobys. Great choice in food and drink and also very dog friendly.

Have just used Coby's as a place to gather after my sister's funeral. We were all delighted with the locatiom, ambience and service. Notably, sensible sized portions of cake, not the vast slices on offer in inferior cafes

We loved this place!! We were actually driving around searching for another cafe (that was poorly signposted) when we came across the signs for Cobeys coffee shop. It was dog friendly so we thought we’d give it a try and I’m so glad we did! Super friendly welcome, and the food was delicious! We ordered 2 jacket potatoes, and there was so much of it! It was honestly one of the best jacket potato meals I’ve had! Great value! We will definitely be back!

I live in Plymouth but visit for lunch or coffee every time I go to Cornwall and have taken friends and relatives there. It does get busy so I usually book ahead. The staff are lovely and the coffee and food are great. Nice cakes and something a bit more imaginative in the way of snacks and sandwiches. Lovely setting andambience. All in all a little gem close to the main road but set back in the woods.

Coby's is a bit off the beaten track but well worth the journey, homemade cakes, good quality coffee, light snacks and friendly staff. An ideal stopping off point after a dog walk around Cardinham Woods, it is dog friendly but there is a dog in residence which is something to be aware of, he is very laid back!

I had discussed my art with David who was a wonderful customer focused and knowledgeable owner of Stable Art and I am so very happy and grateful for all the work to frame my collection so personally and perfectly delivered to me. The delicious vegan cake and oat cappuccino was a bonus. Thank you so very much! Hope you all have a wonderful Xmas. With my very best wishes Graham

Have been here twice now. If you can find a quieter time it's a very pleasant experience. Food is good, coffee is excellent, staff are friendly, etc. Unfortunately the last time I went was very busy, there wasn't really enough space to walk between tables, it was noisy and cramped....a victim of it's own success. But as I said, when quieter, it's lovely.

Underwhelmed Having been told this cute little place was great for light meals and great cakes.. we gave it a go. Coffee was great.. Cakes looked lovely.. but didnt end up ordering cake as we was so underwhelmed with the food .. Hunstman platter £8- *not served with crusty bread as advertised but basic brown bread, ham was slimy and fatty.. and a small portion in comparison to similar ploughmans In cafes. Bacon sandwich was £5 +odd , this was made of the cheapest of basic brown thin bread. Very underwhelmed. Plates cleared and not asked if our meals was ok. Also again on paying not asked. No check mid way to check if everything ok. Small little cute place but disappointed with what food we received. Maybe this is a one off.. Just changing the bread offering to a artisan/ crusty bread would elevate all meals we received today. Cost didnt equal the quality of food we received unfortunately

A good place to sit and enjoy a coffee, lots of choice for scrumptious cakes or stop to have a light brunch etc. Very friendly staff and Blue the resident dog. The cafe is pet friendly and if you don’t want to sit inside, there is plenty of seating outside. If your arty, there’s plenty of places to browse for supplies, they also provide a fantastic picture framing service. A gem all under one roof.

Tried the Ploughman’s and it was very good value for money although did miss not having meat eg pork pie/ham etc. The cheese’s were really flavoursome and the bread was really fresh. This is a really lovely establishment and staff are very friendly. There is the option to eat outside at the tables inside (which is upstairs above Stable Art which I believe there is a stair lift to get upstairs). Lots of drinks to choose and freshly baked cakes etc Also, Blue the dog who is very sweet and likes to come over for a stroke but he is very gentle. Dogs are allowed in too.

Went for lunch with my mother who’s disabled in a wheelchair, greeted straight away by the owner Dave, who was so polite and helped mother on the stair lift & was so kind and compassionate throughout all. Young waitress was kind and the older waitress sarah was so welcoming and lovely too. Lunch menu was fantastic. I had a cheese ham and chutney sandwhich and mum had the huntsman lunch. Decent sized portions and the price wasn’t shocking unlike most places! Of course, finished off with some yummy cakes. Will be here again!

Following a lovely walk in Cardinham woods we dropped into Coby’s on the way home, not knowing what to expect. Place is a little gem serving an excellent choice of drinks and cakes. Host was friendly and helpful and place was clean and comfortable. We saw other dishes coming out and made a promise to return soon.

This cafe is a true gem. Has a fantastic atmosphere, the staff are all welcoming and helpful and the food is delicious. We meet up for coffee and their fabulous chocolate brownies then go off shopping and return for a yummy lunch. Finally I often take a couple of pieces of their homemade cakes home to keep me going till the next visit.

Stable Art is my favourite place for framing and art supplies and since they relocated to Fletchersbridge they opened Coby’s upstairs above the art supply shop. I can honestly say their cakes and quiches are the best for miles around (and I’ve tried many places since moving to Cornwall). The ambience and staff are top notch too! Highly recommend a visit here in a beautiful location with ample free parking.

..............said my Mum!!We visited here today to get some framing done, and popped into the coffee shop afterwards for a drink. Mum had a latte, which she said was the best coffee she'd ever had! And I had a pot of tea, which was very good too, and was good value. Cant comment on the food, as we didn't eat here today, but will certainly be back in a few weeks time for lunch when we collect our pictures. The menu looked very interesting, with a couple of specials as well.Have to say all the staff we met here were lovely

Looking for somewhere to have lunch and stumbled across this little place. So, I believe that this is part of an art shop where they sell various art materials and offer art courses. Coby's is upstairs and a little tea room. Lovely atmosphere in there, and they were busy. My husband and I shared a Mediterranean platter comprising bread, crackers, balsamic vinegar/olive oil, olives, salad, cold meats, sun dried tomatoes and cheeses all washed down with a coffee. Glad we accidentally found this place and would highly recommend.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday, what a fantastic find!! Funky and quirky vegan cafe. Loved the layout and decor. Best chai latte ever. Absolutely gorgeous tofu tacos, and the squash salad was sooo tasty. It’s dog friendly too!! Young lady was on her own front of house, and the cafe was full, she was run off her feet, but she was brilliant - well done!! Now top of our list for lunching in Mousehole!

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!
