I had heard extremely good things about this company through friends and finally decided to visit with my family and make a day of it as it’s a slight trip away.
I found the shop very easy to find and plenty of parking was available.
Upon arrival the owner and his team (which includes family and friends. Always a tick in my book) were very friendly and inviting. They were patient and helped talk us through what was available for everyone of the family.
We got a selection of pastries and snacks to try and enjoyed them outside the shop. The pasty was extremely flavourful. There wasn’t too much crust unlike most bakeries around our area and you can tell these were 100% fresh. Now the sausage rolls are to die for. We had a chorizo and regular sausage roll and again the flavour was unmatched.
This was 100% worth the trip and infact we later that day returned to buy more goodies to take home.
We will be returning soon to pick up plenty more delicious items from the menu and look forward to trying all the new additions to the menu we have seen online!
Would 100% recommend to anyone even if it’s a long drive away. There’s plenty to see all around so can make a day of it like ourselves!

Absolutely useless. 6 hour drive down from London “il have whatever is ready”, “sorry sir we have 4 orders, so it will be over half hour and we have nothing but chips” massive oaf just standing there saying its not there fault. Bunch of absolute idiots.
Whilst doing the week’s shop we popped into the cafe for a quick lunch. We queued for 20mins although not that busy. There were only 2 people working and I think the person on the till was new as didn’t seem to know what she was doing. I did feel sorry for her and she kept apologising. I ordered 2 tuna paninis and I don’t know how they can be sold as paninis as they weren’t grilled or put in a panini press. They were extremely thin baguettes put in a merrichef!! It was so soggy on the bottom and burnt on the top!
They had run out of a lot of cakes and napkins too and this was all by 12pm! Will not be retuning to the cafe and wished we had gone to McDonalds instead!
Absolutely awful food, Soggy limp chips and Soggy non crispy battered chicken
Very nasty taste to the chicken tasted like poor quality old broiler chicken
Pourly potioned 14 pieces mostly drumsticks and bits of wings
Total waste of over £20 will not be returning, we are local
Beware !!!
Before I write this I just want to say that I never complain in restaurants, and have never written a bad review. But my meal was bad. And the service poor. I ordered nachos for £8 and what I received was a bowl of classic Doritos with shop bought sauce, and not very nice cheese. I politely asked to have something else, even just chips, instead as I could not eat it and felt very disappointed with what it was. I was not expecting the response. The man at the desk (assuming he is the owner) told me nobody had complained before so I could not have anything else unless I paid for it. He argued with me and made me feel very small, and treated me terribly. So terribly I began to cry for the first time ever in a restaurant because of his terrible customer service. He did not seem to care that he had upset me, and talked to me in a rude manner. I do not recommend, and would advise to avoid. Rude service, as I left upset I could hear him moan about me to another member of staff. Anywhere else would have refunded us, but not here.
Was nice to be able to stop and have a light bite after visiting Carbis Bay beach for the afternoon. A bacon sandwich each, beer and an ice cream, with a seating and a stunning view, can't complain.
Ordered food for delivery, told lady twice to deliver at 7pm, delivered at 5.45pm, salt and pepper squid at coating very little squid, King prawn chop suey all sauce 4 prawns. Stated no water chestnut, guess what their there
Sadly disappointing. Subway seems to have changed their menu. We order Steak and cheese and ended up with what looked like a panini in a cardboard that looked like it had been squashed, no option for salad etc. This certainly was not what we normally would got when we have previously ordered this item. To cap it all it was more expensive than the previous version. In summary Subway was a significant step above McDonald's etc, this, however, was a significant step below and with the price increase no longer represents reasonable value. Subway - you really should do better than this.
Straight up got the best service. Huge chunks of meat, hot, spicy and attentive staff.
Parking's just up on the right, open good hours and great for the wander home.

Cold - requested delivery nothing for over an hour then asked if I could collect … collected to find it was all cold … returned for them
To redo it waiting 30mins along with several other customers… got back a realised one bit of the order was missing again.. gave up .. was good when it opened up now it’s going down hill
