For £6.75 for a dry no condiments chicken burger (with no chips and instead hash browns as they didn't have chips). Appalling. There are 4 staff in the kitchen across the counter, serving and kitchen. Plenty to perform the basic task. I would have expected at least mayo in the chicken burger. Whilst they also didn't have chips, they also didn't have sausages. Considering that half their menu has either sausages (breakfast) or chips it's a bit of a sad attempt. At best this was worth £3. No way was it worth £6.75.

this isn’t the first time this has happened, happens most times we visit the cafe at Asda Bodmin in cornwall, they never have anything that is on the menu, we were then told my son could not have a toasted sandwich cause lunch menu doesn’t start till 12pm, there was no sign saying this and no one else apart from me my son and a relative, they could of warmed it, and also maybe if they haven’t got things in they should have a list saying so, sorry it’s a poor job when most things we wanted were unavailable, pretty much all there was were cakes, it’s poor business, if you can’t serve the food offered you need to have a sign explaining this, the server was also very rude and not helpful at all, how can they not just going and grab what they need off the shelves from the supermarket

They stopped doing food for half an hour to catch up on the dishes, there were 2 members of staff and the cafe was not even half full! Staff were petty rude! I use this cafe often as I am local, but over the last 6 months it has gone down hill terribly!

Order toasted sandwichs and fries twice when it arrives the fries some were under cooked and the Toasted sandwiches where not even toasted it looked like they were warm in the oven. I was mad with rage the mood I was in I dare not complain as I got a short fuse and we would of got to leave. I will not be going in the cafe ever again 0/05

We order the 6 breakfast items. I had 2eggs sausage tomatoe beans and hash brown (with toast) the eggs were hard and overcooked the hash brown was undercooked as was the sausage the tomatoe was just shown the pan and the toast was nearly black. My husband had similar and couldn’t get his for into his hashbrown needless to say we will not be visiting again

Poor quality food. The food was really poor. I appreciate it’s done at a budget price but it should still be edible. Staff member who took the order seemed quite rude and abrupt

We arrived just after dinner and I asked about food that's egg free and then asked for a roll with no butter and bacon and they refused to do it for me. It is bad how they are supposed to be allergy friendly and refused to help

Undercooked chips. Twice I’ve had chips here and both times they’ve not been fully cooked so they’re soft inside. Not a fan of undercooked hard chips

We had a visit this friday morning for breakfast served by two very polite gentleman, service was super fast and the food was fresh and steaming hot. However the guys were great the organisation should be ashamed of themselves: it was busy, the cafe was full, the poor guys had to cook, serve, clean tables, and monitor Covid rules on their own. We eat out a lot and we cant imagine how a big company like Asda can put this much pressure on their employees and having said that the staff who were on duty today were friendly and prompt they are a credit to you.

So disappointed yet again with the quality of food here, over cooked quorn sausages, raw mushrooms. Vile.

Excellent service. Really warm and friendly. Nice range of drinks and snacks. Really good value for money.

Twice we have visited and twice we have been charged when kids go free. Same member of staff and I’m sure it wasn’t an error. I won’t go again.

Was feeling peckish after work decided to try the asda cafe rather than go kfc again but I soon regretted that. I got a cheeseburger and chips with a cup of tea which was pretty grim. The burger tasted grainy, the cheese wasn't melted and the portion of chips could hardly be called a portion at all, the plate was almost entirely garnish. Had to pull half a fkin forest out of the bun before I could take a bite.

One panini, one toasted sandwich, what can go wrong. Not cooking it.... both were not toasted, perhaps shown the heat but that’s it, no garnish, not even cut in half, save your money, go home and diy it yourself,

Had a lovely visit today. Cheap breakfast. Not the best quality but you get what you pay for. Two guys Dave and Nigel very friendly and welcoming. 2 full breakfasts with coffees delivered within 2 minutes. We will definitely return.

Service was awful - the lady didn’t have a clue what she was doing. Looked at us like we were dirt when my partner pointed out that she hadn’t given us a number for our meal order. The sandwiches in my partners daughters lunch meal deal were stale.. I was given “extra” scrambled egg instead of beans.. could barely be classed as extra. The only decent thing about it was the drinks.. and they were bottled from a different company.

Well what can I say , another poor meal Luke warm and brown mouldy salad, breakfast not fresh been hanging around a while. Staff busy on phones out the back not really interested in customers, service quick but everything pre cook or microwaved , will not be back

We have eaten here several times and have found the food and price, excellent it is what it is, the staff do a marvellous job in such a tiny workplace

We come to Cornwall on holiday a couple of times a year. We tried out this cafe recently and had a tomato and mozzarella panini and a half a roasted chicken. The panini filling seemed to evaporate during the cooking process and rather than melted cheese was left with a cheese ‘stain’ as such so mostly bread left behind with various sun dried tomatoeyness. The chicken was actually quite moist and even though it purported to be “roasted” it wasn’t too bad and I ate it all. I am a pig though and I was hungry.

Shopping on Saturday morning; had our first breakfast in the cafe for years. Now that the cafe is sub-contracted, things have certainly improved. A large breakfast for £5 (3 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 soft-yolked eggs, 3 hash browns, beans and tomatoes) and at last for ASDA, a large latte. I won't leave it so long next time. Thanks folks!

Having just experience the worst cafe in the world.

Poor does not come close to how this breakfast experience was. Went in to order 3 of their 12 piece breakfast .cash only ??? Ok well was hungry so ordered them plus 3 coffees. Service was quick enough if a little unenthusiastic...the food was rubbish Luke warm ,dried out hash browns sausages and mushrooms.totally tasteless.the eggs couldn't have had any less colour or taste the beans,well there were some is all I can say.the only thing that had taste was the bacon...well lesson learned and that's 3 less customers they will have in the future

Decided to have lunch at 12.40pm , was disappointed that at this time only been serving hot lunch food since 12pm that they had no chips, no Yorkshire pudding which are main components of meals, we decided to have pie and mash, guess what no mash!! Got refund and walked out , they may as well close.

Fui a este café mientras me metía algo de comida viaja y ojalá que no tenía yo soy vegetariana y no había mucho para mí. Pedí un queso y cebolla con un tazón de calentito patatas fritas. El calor no fue un calentito porque no estaba preparado, estaba frío, el queso por dentro me hizo sentir enfermo y las patatas fritas eran quemados por un lado y por otra como si hubieran sido sentados alrededor por un tiempo y luego ponerla en cuando les pedimos. Volví y como no tenían calentito izquierda pedí una patata chaqueta en su lugar, tuve que pedir una versión vegetariana y me cobraron mas de lo que normalmente tendría costo. Me ofrecieron las salsas y el papa estaba bajo preparado. Cuando fui a conseguir un poco de salsa no he podido encontrar ninguna, así que pedí en el mostrador de recepción para algunos. Forma grosera me dijo que iban a traer algunas más, pero nunca llegó. Después de esto no puedo quejarme de nuevo así que me marché de enfermos.

Well lovely ham egg chips and peas with fizzy drink twice plus 2childrens meals all servers fresh about 4.30 and was quicker than mc Donald's lady was very helpful and we enjoyed our meal

OK for the price.Didn't expect too much and so wasn't disappointed. Has been in Bodmin and called early afternoon to pick up some supplies and had a quick sandwich in the cafe.

Asda you need to do something about fact if you intend to keep cafe open whilst people shop then keep it supplied with choice of food especially sandwiches after 3pm .

Parece que fue la última persona de persona a escribir sobre el Asda Cafe, no ha cambiado mucho. Cómo jamás la chica que nos parecía como si ella no quería estar allí, de hecho con una sonrisa.

Metimos en hacer una tienda que pensamos que tendríamos un bocadillo ... y ¡qué triste elección, por lo que se refiere a sano no tendrás que allí. Venga a Asda renueven su café y animar a la gente a comer sano que están en la vanguardia de ofrece buena comida. Si Sainsburys y Waitrose puede hacerlo así que usted puede. Tenía los Canónigos lechugas escarolas de huevo y sándwich mayo el huevo era como goma no mayo o muy poco sin duda no distribuidos en uno de los lados del pan y no mucho los Canónigos lechugas escarolas teniendo en cuenta el precio me esperaba algo mejor. El café con leche de hacerlo todo máquina yuk tan fácil de hacer café fresco.

Well me and my partner go here to do our shop so we thought we would stop for a bite to eat normally we would enjoy breakfast at Asda as the price is reasonable and its a good size breakfast, however when we went the last time the mushrooms were cold same with the beans and tomatoes. Lets just say we will make sure we eat before we leave to go shopping next time.

Typical for a Supermarket, in fact better than Morrisons down the road. Prices are modest service is swift and place is clean. Did not see a rating about but I guess there is one. The cafe is upstairs but there is a lift.Large free car park. Unlike Tesco's in Truro you are not tracked on camera and have to get a ticket, Good place to shop cheap as anywhere to buy food.and they sell the cheapest petrol/diesel in the area.There is a KFC adjacent and a Travel Lodge. also a place that sells hot pasties lunch times.

If you are looking for a cheap basic meal, then this is the place to come.We had a steak pie with mash and peas, it wasn't anything special, but then what can you expect for £5 each. It was a typical meal that the majority of us would have at home every now and then.Also the medium coffee was larger than I had expected and was of average quality, so nothing else to say about it.Overall there is nothing wrong but nothing exceptional and you get value for money.
