A pathetic let-down. I can only eat corn-on-the-cob when my partner decides to eat KFC. But guess what they didn't have on the menu today! Yes - corn-on-the-cob - the one and only thing I can eat on the menu. You don't have any? O-r-d-e-r it! And DON'T advertise products on your menu that you cannot supply. Useless management who can't manage their stocks!

My partner and I enjoy KFC, in these days of eating non meat dishes etc KFC is our naughty secret and we both very much enjoy their food. Penzance KFC is no exception and we find it thoroughly enjoyable. Unfortunately I have to highlight the standard of cleanliness of this particular branch on 7/6/2024 (which is a shame as the staff are lovely and the building is nice). This is the second time in successive visits that the tables have been filthy, and it was not at an excessively busy period. It really is not acceptable to have to clean one's table before eating. Luckily enough there was a "blue roll" (if you know, you know" left by the overflowing bin so we were able to use that. But should we have to clean before we eat? Of course not. In summary a good restaurant with good food, if you like KFC, which we do. Cleanliness and hygiene is a problem at this franchise though and as hygiene is intrinsic to health and safety, KFC Penzance should do better! Only one mark out of five because of poor cleanliness. PS I would have told KFC directly but their survey website has become impenetrable with adverts.

Very poor customer service and very unprofessional and rude the staff at the front desk and was tolerated by the management. Was also poor service as the simple order wasn’t followed my gravy mega box didn’t have gravy but when I found out and tell the staff she was rude and aggressively throw the gravy at the counter.Then when I got home, found out that there was no chicken mini fillet which should be included. I complained to the manager though offered to replace it but didn’t apologise for the rude behaviour of her staff and when I got back there last week same staffs there and I can see them staring at me and mumbled oh yeah! Very unprofessional! I like KFC but I think I will not bother going there now due to very poor customer services!!

Exemplary service from both George and Becky - well done to you both! They went above and beyond, cheerfully assisting with advising us on different meal options, drinks and providing all the provisions to ensure we had a wonderful meal. Food was also very hot and tasty and promptly received. Overall, the best experience we have had in customer service from a fast food outlet.

Ordered gravy box and bucket for 1 to take away, the food wasn't hot and was stale obviously cooked much earlier and left out. Service poor, staff looked bored and unhelpful

The last 3 times we have visited this site, it has been closed. Today notice on Door. Due to Technical difficulties Restuarrant closed. Cones in front of Drive through. This was the Restuarrant closed for Health reasons 18 months ago. Seems like they have not learned. WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN.

Just got back from this place.Very rude girl member of staff .Obviously she was in charge but with no customer service training. The driveway was closed due to technical errors.There was a notice saying that I could go to the window or pop inside to order so I walked to the drive through window . On asked what I was doing there I explained about the sign and that I want to place an order. I was told that I couldn’t order from here and that I would have to order in store so I went inside. She then asked how I got in as they aren’t open yet..I said well it’s 11am, on which she replied we are having a few issues and redirected me back outside from the door I walked in from which was a wedged open fire door and that I shouldn’t have come in that door So once again back outside I go but can’t come in through the main door as they haven’t unlocked it yet.. Finally got in and placed order with a lovely young lad who was very efficient and friendly. Somebody really needs to look into the rudeness of the staff and offer them a course of customer service training

The smallest chicken piece I’ve seen on a burger. Didn’t fill half the bun, two drumsticks from a pigeon . Then noticed they’d slipped in sugar free Pepsi Max (cheaper for them ) which was also tiny . I just asked for a Pepsi . Worse than the last time I went , which was at least a year ago. I’ll leave it longer next time

We ordered last night 30/08/22 around 9pm The burger were literally chicken and bread, they didn't put any sauce, lettuce, ANYTHING!! inside them, it was literally chicken and bread. Chips were freezing cold, I will never go there again, absolute rip off,

We were staying on holiday in Newlyn just about a 10 minute drive from Penzance so decided to treat ourselves to a nice takeaway as we were on holiday, as we went through the drive-thru, the screen to take your order was filthy and corroded. Whilst also the man on the order taking was so rude and blunt and didn’t give us much time to order, making us rush. As we received our food we saw that the order was wrong as we asked for a boneless feast but gave us a family feast which had bones instead. Overall really poor experience, don’t recommend.

Instantly regretted making this order as it took a rather long time to arrive,I also made the order 5 mins before cut-off time (never wise) I was expecting lukewarm food at best. Much to my surprise it was still hot and very tasty! The drumstick would of made the colonel proud

Nothing worse gettin home after the drive through and have food missing from your order..and lately ,chip portions are getting smaller and smaller..kfc ,you are robbing us ..

Came into the drive through after a long day at hospital ordered a family meal to then drive 8miles to Sennen to open up the food missing 4addon chicken fillets and two Extra sides of large beans. Tried ringing store to see if we could be credited next time but kept getting cut off as can't drive 16miles there and back. Not the first time this has happened

Every time I’ve been to this place i never get wat i order the drive thru is always rude and the manager is definitely not fit for purpose there always loud and seems like it’s a teenager run kfc and there ruining kfc reputation avoid at all costs !!!!!

Great KFC chicken at the standard one expects. I recommend and will call again. Chicken was fresh, crisy, juicy, tender and tasty.

Called in on an unusually quiet Thursday lunchtime. No drive thru queue but decided to go inside. Big mistake. More staff than customers but they seemed to be stressed out and lots o shouting going on. As I was trying to select two meals three members of staff just stared at me. When I asked a question two just pointed to the third at the till. When o asked the question again about chicken strip meals got a Curt response with no attempt at courtesy. Had to ask her to repeat some of it as her colleague was yelling order collection numbers at the top of her voice. When asked what we wanted to drink we asked for three or four drinks which apparently they don’t do as we were told each time by the deadpan, very bored server. In the end I asked what choices they did offer and without eye contact she rattled off a couple of options. Paid without thanks and almost immediately was called to collect with a shout of, “OY MATE!” The chicken was dry and not nice. I got less than a dozen limp, barely warm fries. The toilets were disgusting. The floors needed mopping! I really like KFC but next time I’m in Penzance I’m going to McDonalds!

What an absolutely joke of a “fast food” restaurant. Over an hour waiting on one burger and drink! My friends I went with queued up and waited 25 minutes just to order! One of the male kitchen staff was then shouting at a female member of staff who was working alone out the front to try and pack orders, send them out and fit in ordering! Definitely stay away from here during “busy” times because they just can’t cope! Was actually ridiculous! I actually had time to drive over to McDonald’s, order and wait 15 minutes for my meal before my friend had received hers from KFC!

It took ages to get some food through the drive through. Sat in our car queuing on one of the hottest days of the year. After 25 minutes we reached the order point only to find out then that they have no ice cream. We will avoid in the future.

Soon as we got to the till window I thought to myself looked minging inside got our order went somewhere to sit and eat and opened the burger box and a long hair just sticking out of the burger absolutely disgusting took it back asked for refund gave them the food back wouldn’t even eat it for free still waiting on refund will never return there again

The service here was poor, the staff were not very friendly or helpful, we had to park up and wait ages for our order, only for it to be wrong when it was eventually brought to us.

Used the drive through, the staff were blunt and not interested. The burger was vile, dry as anything. No lettuce or anything as in the picture on the menu. Me and my pal went to KFC in Penzance. We ordered A regular mighty bucket with regular fries, regular Pepsi Max and four hot wings with a GRAVY. We waited a significant amount of time for our food, even though there was only a small group of around 5 people in the restaurant. The Man came out with my food, then to only just tell me that they had run out of gravy, I was obviously looking forward to this part of my meal to only be very disappointed when i was told there was none left. I was offered a substitute for my gravy, I opted for “extra fries” I opened my bag once I had got into my mates car and realised there was the same amount of fries as there was before so I didnt receive the “extra” that I was promised. This clearly isn’t acceptable in any circumstances, this obviously shows that the workers do not care for their customers needs. To make matters worse there were bin bags on the floor with rubbish spelling out of them whilst me and my friend were ordering they might of been in the middle of cleaning but whilst the restaurant is still open to the public they should take more care in being so much more presentable to there customers. The staff are very miserable and take little care in listening to what their customer wants to order. Therefore creating a bad atmosphere in a so-called family restaurant.

Very disappointed. Staff were rude. I ordered a boneless dipping banquette only to be told there was no popcorn chicken after a brief discussion I agreed to 4 extra boneless pieces, only to find when I got home instead I had 3 pieces of bone in chicken and no dipping sauces at all. Not quite the dipping banquette I was hoping for. As an added insult they also gave me diet Pepsi instead of Pepsi max petty I know but poor all the same.

We decided to visit here today as it was my sons birthday and the fact I haven’t been here for a while so was looking forward to it. We decided to go through the drive thru and eat in the car as the weather wasn’t good. There was only 2 cars in front of us so not that busy, when we received our food we parked up and checked our bag of food and the beans we ordered was missing so I went into the restaurant and waited for someone to serve me but was stood there a while and nobody served me so in the end I had to get the attention of a member of staff and explained about the beans and she was apologetic but to be told by her and and another member of staff that they were short staffed and really busy even though there was only about 5 tables with people on in the restaurant and only 2 cars at the drive thru, come on really and to be told that to customers not very good customer service. Went back to the car with the beans than to be told by my husband that he didn’t have his gravy for his Mega Box we were not happy but we couldn’t be bothered to go in again so he did without it .

Popped in for an evening feast with high expectations of a boneless banquet with yummy chicken gravy....oh dear what a let down, there was no gravy only beans available. How can you run out of gravy, especially when I travelled 147 miles. Another issue we found was the come zero was pretty much that... Mostly soda water with very little syrup.The restaurant was. Quite clean, bins were being emptied whilst we were there, a lovely lady open need the disabled toilet for me, it was lovely and clean.

Eaten here a few times, never enjoyed it, this is the worst KFC I have ever been to, the place is filthy the food is terrible, the customer service is beyond a joke, went a couple of days ago, thought I would give it another chance, Went through the drive thru, picked out a meal I wanted and was told they don't have any, picked a second meal and was also told they don't have any so I drove off and went else where, that was the final straw I will never be going back.

Started off with having to wait ages brings a whole new meaning to fast food, the staff are just rude,ignorant and miserable, especially the long haired bearard guy!! always running out of stuff asking do we want a substitute then not giving it to us!! forgetting a side of chicken! The toilet had no toilet roll couldn't flush and the hand dryer was still broken from weeks and weeks ago the food wasn't the best not awful but deffo had better the place needs a good clean and new staff who are polite and don't look like they want to kill you!!

The food is good KFC but I visited twice whilst on holiday and was disappointed both times. The first visit I watched food being accidentally tipped out onto the back counter and then placed back in the box. The second I waited 20 minutes for a standard order when the restaurant was not very busy. The staff are very friendly, though on my second visit there was a great deal of shouting from the kitchen, which sounded fraught. McDonald’s across the way was much more professional but if you like your KFC be prepared to wait and watch that your food stays in the box when served.

Generally we enjoy a KFC, on this occasion it was dreadful. The almost empty restaurant was filthy, most tables had rubbish on them, one bin had overflowed onto the floor and the other had no bin in its cupboard!!. The staff barely spoke, got the order wrong, overcharged, didn’t include the sauces and were utterly disinterested.

Came in and ordered our food. When it came to collect the food we didn’t have our large fries so went up to say about it. Then sat down again and didn’t have my 1 piece chicken on the bone that should have came with my meal so had to go back again. The boy serving was friendly but he was the only one serving so was stressful for him, so you need more staff to help out and then items won’t be missed etc

I have been here a few times but try to avoid it if I can due to my previous experiences. I. This occasion I drove through the drive thru and tried to order after every Item I ordered the girl kept saying okay drive around.. I'm not finished yet sweetheart. She was very rude and when I got to the window was more interested in talking to her fellow "colleagues" her attitude stank! This is not the first time I've had "service" like this and the pz kfc. Also the order was wrong and items missing the chicken was a wet soggy mess. Seriously penzance kfc sort you're sh*it out. If you don't want to work there then frigging quit! You need to sort your management and hygiene out.

Children requested to a treat of KFC. Staff friendly enough but the food was as expected of fast food. We were informed that there was a small waiting time which was acceptable as we arrived at a busy time. When the food arrived it was warm and what can only be described as soggy.

Usual KFC and menu what more can you say. clean almost empty in the evening. Free parking and situated in the complex outside town.

Hadnt been to this branch for a while but popped in yesterday and picked up a 12 piece dipping boneless feast. Initially had to remind the drive through attendant that it came with a bottle of drink as she somehow had forgotten then followed a 15 in the waiting bay minute wait which while annoying wasn't the end of the world.

Bargain bucket from drive through contained 6 legs, 3 thighs and 1 small piece of breast. Some of the legs were broken and very small, maybe 2 good bites of chicken.

Ordered a large, got less than a small portion of chips even though I paid for the large. Out of gravy, out of dips. Food was cold. Wouldn't recommend.

I ate here 4 days ago. The fillet burger was tasteless but with a very slight sourness to it. I ate about 3/4 of the burger and threw the rest away.

Had a twister the other day, tasteless what have they done used to be so good. Usual problem rotten management (bean counters).

Much to my disapproval my daughter decided she wanted a kfc for her birthday. We chose the boneless banquet bucket meal. On arriving home (2minutes) the chips were cold & soggy and the server forgot to put the 5 dips the meal is supposed to come with! How hard can it be to check what each meal is supposed to come with? This is not the first time & I even asked are all the dips in there?

Haven’t been there for a while after having to queue inside for over 40 minutes! So thought we would try the drive thru.. NOT MUCH BETTER!!! The drive thru genuinely looks filthy, can hardly see your order through the dirty ordering screen.

This place has certainly seems to have changed over the last few weeks/months. It is clean and tidy and seems to have sorted itself out.

This kfc is so vile. I was really badly ill after eating here and cleanliness of the store is really bad. Customer service was shocking as the staff didn’t have a clue what they were doing on the till and they then went on to shout at their manager ‘shall we just close as we’ve got nothing much left to sell’. They were running out of everything and staff at the back of the kitchen were just useless doing nothing. Waited over half an hour in the drive through so had to go in to complain and get it. As I was walking out I noticed that there was chicken just crammed into a plastic chest of drawers, surely this isn’t normal?

iv all ready had bad experiences from here but thought I would give them another go,but really was a bad mistake coming back first thing I notice while driving throw the drive throw was 5 members of staff including a manager going to the side of building for a fag break,do you really need that many going at once and the restraint was still really busy this was about 7:45 in the summer holidays.second thing I notice was how dirty the screen where you place your order not what does it take to give it a wipe over? area manager you better get down there and sort the place out.the service was o.k. but the chicken was barely warm and taste nothing it use to this place would be better off shut down for many reasons.

Well what can I say If you want a cold meal for yourself and 6 kids where the chips taste like cardboard chicken that has more bone than meat or a meal that’s completely different to what you even ordered then this is the place to go!! Honestly This is the most unorganised place I’ve ever been to in all my life seriously under staffed no one knows weather they’re coming or going and all we get is a pathetic apology, no refund, no change in items well kfc don’t be sorry be better!!! Next time I shall take the 6 hr drive to Brighton for my kfc where I would never receive food or service like I have this evening. Safe to say we’ve all left hungry and very unsatisfied however if the foxes go through the bins this evening they will have enough to feed the whole family

Lovely place, the chap on the counter was helpful and friendly. Food was very nice, plenty of seating inside and out. Not to busy when we went in their, but had been busy through the day as they had run out of ice and a few other things. But this didn't impact that much on our visit.

Why is the drivethru always closed ffs..sort your sh!t out, nearly everytime i visit they have bollards up

Called in for a KFC and well a bit disappointed with the service and staff need some training in customer care.

My son-in-law and grandson both enjoy eating at KFC, so when a friend of mine suggested that we could have lunch here, I agreed.

Very slow service, tables dirty and that are never cleared or cleaned. Staff very unhygienic and could do better.

Very spacious and staff are great! Loads of selections unlike other branch. Children love it! Highly recommended!

We came on Tuesday night around 9:30pm. Took 10 minutes to get our food from bored, uninterested staff who were more bothered with complaining about other members of staff than actually serving customers or cleaning the restaurant.

Asked to swap the meal deal drink for a gravy, as I have done since it opened, having no use for a bucket of fizzy sweetened water, and was told they couldn't do it as "the management said we cant". Well I can't afford to pay for something I don't want, so you've lost yet another customer. What a disastrous advert for the franchise. Avoid.

I've been here 3 times over the last two weeks and every single time I go there, they can't serve burritos coz there's no rice! If you can't do it, take it off the menu!! All I want is a freaking burrito!!!!!

the food is hit and miss, most of the time the chicken has been left on the shelf way to long and by the time you have received it is has gone very dark , you can see when you go into the restaurant the state of it, there's food all over the floor most of the tables have not been wiped down and as for the toilets filthy, why do they imploye a manager he or she must see the state of the place, not all the staff are sad looking some are ok but when you go through the drive through a lot of the time its awful there so unfriendly and got forbid if you had forgotten to order something and ask if it can be added on when you get to the window, you really need to look at ways to improve on everything in your penzance KFC come to that all of your KFC

What can I say let's start off with the drive-through the food boards aren't great not enough information on them, everyone looks pissed off it really puts me off going in they all look the same, seating areas could do with a re vamp feels so cold and miserable when your sat down, the parking areas are weird , I noticed them smoking outside they don't even pick the rubbish up off the tables they just flick there fags and go back in probably don't even wash their hands, we only go every other month just to take the kids for a treat if you can call it that

Visited this KFC after shopping in Penzance, been several times before but disappointed with this one. My server gave the impression she did not really want to be there, order was ok apart from being given popcorn chicken instead of corn on the cob. I suppose they sound the same, but this mistake was rectified when I pointed it out. Food was ok, fries only lukewarm but the chicken was hot. Disabled toilets out of action and the restaurant floor was quite messy. Not up to the usual standard, also one of the entrance doors was missing.

Food good. Staff with no name tags and non ironed and not tucked in shirts. Some lazy and "if you are leaning,then you are not cleaning" pose in front of till. Average customer service. Counter spilled with pepsi, but nobody give a s&⁢!

I visit this KFC every few weeks and its very much a mixed bag. Often food is fresh and tasty but other times its dry and seems reheated. Often items are missing or incorrect but last week they surpassed themselves. I ordered a 6 piece variety bucket from the drive through but got home to find no hot wings and no breast fillets, just the 6 pieces of original were in the box.

First impressions of the restaurant weren't good. A couple of random cardboard boxes lying about, overflowing bins, trays of rubbish left on grubby tables. Group of lads by the window, chatting loudly, one of whom threw his empty cup on the floor and laughed.

Stopped quickly before embarking on a long drive the service was fast and helpful. The food was freshly cooked and tasty. All you can ask from this type of eatery.

Las patatas fritas eran reemplazados pero creo que estaban mezcladas con algunas patatas fritas frescas como algunos estaban calientes, otros fríos. Me di cuenta de los paquetes de ser cubiertas con patatas calientes. El pollo estaba tibia y ahora desearía volví todo el reembolso. Yo tenía molestias estomacales, otra persona tenía la scats, y los otros dos admitieron que el comida no instalarse cómodamente con ellos. Tuvimos que limpiar nuestra mesa, y el suelo estaba desordenada. Que son clientes habituales de este KFC, y parece que el lugar es peor cada semana. Encontraremos un lugar alternativo para comer, miedo de estar enfermo.

We come to Penzance ahead of travelling to Isles of Scilly each year. Each time we had found the restaurant grubby previously. This year we went there on evening of 11th July and it was clean and there was a man constantly going around cleaning. Massive difference and pleasant surprise. He was also checking the bins to make sure they weren't full. Food and service were fine.

Well another KFC with Bad Staff, after going through the drive through and getting our order, we checked it before leaving just in case, and sure enough it was wrong.Beans instead of Gravy and a Drumstick Leg which I asked for a Thigh which normally is never a problem, the lady behind the counter looked at me as if I was lying and said that Drumsticks are all they have, excuse me this is KFC and you do more than drumsticks, any very poor, will not be going back.

Order a large meal and had to get the girl to change the coffee because they gave me a small one and when I got home I only had 1 instead of 2 packets of chips and there was not spoon to eat my coleslaw. Couldn't phone them either because the telephone number was not working. Useless.

Restaurant was fully empty, ordered our food (Zinger boneless banquet and Family feast & 8 hot wings) Waite around 20min after that gets food, when come to our table most of the items was missing, when go back & ask she was rude her attitude was it's my fault why I should not check before I left counters, never go Penzance KFC again

waiting to be ordered at the tills and the lovely chap took our orders whilst the manager Emma was chatting away with some people whilst we were waiting for food she couldnt do our orders, then the person she knows goes to her 'come have a look at my car' so then the manager went out off the building leaving the man on his own and leaving the building , and i was still waiting 10 minutes for some corn and beans and she still carried on talking by the door entrance when she came back in the store and when there was 7 of us queing and the man was taking our orders and couldnt do both cause he was.
