The best restaurants in Bristol, City of South West

Another Saint Nicholas Market stunner! Many people suggested I check Eat a Pitta out, and I'm really glad I did, and would highly suggest! If you're not familiar, it's basically like the US equivalent of CAVA or Mediterranean Chipotle. I opted for a box instead of a pitta, and got the regular falafel with feta and marinated olives. There are plenty of other sides to choose from but those are the extra-cost sides. The bowl was stuffed and is exactly how it should be! If I ever find myself in Bristol again, surely a place I'll stop at for lunch!

The Fox. A former pub, now cafe and B&B. I believe you can still get a drink in the bar if you are a resident once the cafe is shut. What a great way to keep on old pub running. I have not been to the Fox for at least 5 years or more, and had starved myself that morning for The Big Fox Breakfast! Apart from a bit of a wait which they apologised for (and gave me an extra egg and sausage as a decent gesture) the breakfast was as great as I remember it. Great quality ingredients, freshly cooked to perfection, and just what I needed. The place was busy with workers who are part of the big property developments that are springing up in and around temple meads. Some of the guys were staying above the Fox and love it! There is also a garden out the back with seating if you want to go Al Fresco in your high viz!

If only all cafes were as friendly and welcoming as this one the world would be a brighter place

The local Thai restaurant in west-bury. Very delicious food. Plenty of vegetarian options available here.

Amazing pizza! Can’t recommend the mushroom pizza enough. Service was slow, but only due to them being a team member down. Despite this the staff were super lovely.

Inglés completo - 10. Dos lonchas de tocino, un tomate, un solo hongo, dos huevos y una tostada. No es una salchicha a la vista. ¡Era de buena calidad pero no puedes cobrar 10 por eso!

Staff is friendly and welcoming. Somalian halal food. Ample place for sit and dine inside. Good for families as well. For Asians food may be bit on the side of less flavor except the soup, which was delicious. but it was overall good and did not see any other better place for rice lovers in the area. No music played inside, which is good but did not see hmc halal certificate..

The building is amazing. Go in an order a water. The service is bad and the vibe dead as a dodo. Such a waste for such a beautiful place

I had a joint birthday party at the Rising Sun in March and I can't recommend it more! The staff are so lovely, the pub is so cosy and welcoming and they gave us an entire area out the back that can accommodate 40 people for free with no minimum spend! We were able to play our own music and service at the bar was quick and easy. They can cater for you too if you want (we didn't take this offer up but it was well priced). Highly recommend you go, it's a beautiful pub anyway but so great as a venue for a special occasion. Thank you!! Lou (and Phoebs) :)

The golf lesson hosted by Jamie was not good. I’ve booked a 1h lesson but they changed the time to half hour without telling me at the beginning, they only notified me when I hit the ball and I didn’t know why. After that they said they will send me the video recorded at the lesson but I didn’t receive any response. Btw it’s funny that an academy doesn’t have the track technology 🙂‍↕️. I think the equipment they have is as old as someone haha 🤪

Jay is a legend- really friendly. Food was classic Indian takeaway fare. We ordered a takeaway for 8 people and we all loved it. Lots of veggie options
