Amazing local pub with lovely beers and a good vibe :)

Wonderful experience celebrating my birthday at this venue. Very friendly staff and great attention to detail. I'll be back.

Great variety of beers from local brewers. Tons of spirits. Nice locals and charming staff. After work sun downers, next to the park with amazing views.

We have just hired the small area at the back for a celebration of life (memorial). The team were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. The only issue was paying for a PA and it wasn't ready on arrival but no big deal.

The guys did a truly excellent job of providing a venue for a wake/celebration of life. Great covered outdoor space away from the bar area. Attentive and friendly service behind the bar. Brilliant buffet. Helped make what could have been a dour experience into a positive one. Thanks very much.

This is a pleasant pub with the now familiar 'Shabby Chic' look. A nice greeting from the bar staff and what looked to be a good range of beers and spirits on hand. The reason I have marked it down on the atmosphere is because during our time there, a group of 'regulars had a takeaway curry delivered, which they ate at the table opposite, something I assume was sanctioned by the owners? Very strange and for me inappropriate.

Lots of interesting craft beer and real ale, great atmosphere, traditional decor and friendly staff. Excellent neighbourhood pub and highly recommended. Well worth the walk to the hill!

Great staff. Enjoying the vibe since it's reopened under new management. Added a few photos of the pub mascot, who can often be seen lurking by the bar seeking attention.

This place is a hidden gem tucked away up Windmill Hill... An amazing range of beers served by a very hospitable bar keep. I shall return!

I attended a private function, children's party. Interior is a little tired garden needs a tidy. But the kids didn't notice. Staff friendly.

Very child friendly, great beers (lots of Arbor at time of visit) + live music! Not very large but that wasn't a problem. Serves toasties for food.

Good well kept beers and Craft ales on tap..£5 A pint for some but you know when you take the first sup where the extra £1.50 went. Better Atmosphere than the Windmill and better beer.

Not a real pub. Another good pub turned into a gentrified dive for middle class bores who couldn't hack it in London. It's more crèche than pub now, a safe space to take Tarquin and Felicia without any of those ghastly working class "povos" in sight. Now they can talk about the important things in life in safety, such as house prices, banksy and of course London, all while sipping their daily lattes or overpriced overhoped "artisanal" ale.

A 'real' pub and yet child friendly. Great beer, great coffee and great cake, with fantastic service. Highly recommend.

Community pub. Good beers and cider. Well stocked bar and good DJ playing tamla and soul when we were there.

Great selection of cask ales, friendly staff, brilliant open mic night every Thursday and top live music in a great location next to a park and a lovely beer garden out back. Since it's re-opening this place just keeps getting better and better!

Best pub I've ever been in!! Sooo friendly, got free drinks all night, a cooked dinner and then taken home by a beautiful young lady who demanded sex all night. I'll certainly be visiting again, such a great pub with lovely people... amazing!!!
