Great food, with interesting flavours, and prompt and polite service - would recommend!

The mushroom risotto and the chicken liver pate were delicious. However, the carbonara was not as good, a bit too oily. Good price/quality.

I love this place so much! However tonight was slightly disappointing… asked for rare steak and it came well done (twice)… didn’t want to ask for a third as felt a bit embarrassed… it was supposed to come with Gorgonzola sauce but it was just cream no cheese…. Perhaps a stand in chef tonight? I will however be back because I know what this place can do 😁😁

Food was perfect, service was brilliant, well timed between courses but not too long at all, the wine my girlfriend had was amazing. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely come back.

We had a group meal on a Sunday. You need to know enough about Italian food to make right choices. The fish with my risotto was good. I would like to have the chance to try other dishes in future. The manager/owner was very helpful to us.

This is one of our favourite restaurants. Delicious food, friendly staff, professional service and good range of food choices.

Varied menu with good vegetarian options. Food delicious. Substantial portions. Server competent with hilariously dry sense of humor. Timely service. Not rushed.

Went for lunch a week ago with my mum and sisters. Food was delicious and the portion sizes were great even though we went for the fixed menus. We were all very impressed. Will definitely be back. 😊

Great food I went for the four cheeses pizza and it was really good. A friend of ours had the carbonara and that looked just as good. I will definitely come back when I'm next down in Bristol

A lovely and intimate setting, top only by the wonderful staff who showed perfect charm and care towards us. The food was absolutely stellar, the only upset being I didn't order everything to try. I would highly recommend it, will be heading back in the new year.

Quite a nice meal. Limited gluten free options, eg no gf bread for the pate, and no gf for pudding except ice-cream. Good place and atmosphere but service was a bit lacking in luster.

I've had cannelloni, my friend took lasagna and some garlicky pizza dough based side. Everything was very tasty and oh so fresh! We also loved the service, two relaxed guys with great sense of humour yet professional. We'll be back for sure 👍

Where to start! We came here for my sons birthday, the food was fantastic, full of flavour, and generous portions , but what I would like to mention is… the service! Outstanding, the two gentleman looking after us couldn’t do enough.and we’re very professional, thank you very much .

First time and the only thing I would complain about was that all 5 meals did not arrive at the same time. Meals were excellent, when they arrived. People in the restaurant were very friendly.

We just wanted a light meal, and they served us a pizza to share, which was delicious! Best I've tasted since eating one in Rome!

We went there yesterday for a spontaneous family lunch and had a lovely time. The staff were very welcoming and attentive plus the food was delicious. We will definitely being going back there.

They catered well for our group of 10 even at a busy time. Food was excellent with plenty of choice and reasonably priced. Clean and well laid out. Polite staff with senses of humour.

We came here about 8 years ago and we weren't so impressed. However, we had such a nice meal here last week. The restaurant is cosy and the foods were just amazing. We had seafood tomato pasta and cream mushroom pasta and they were both tasty. The pasta was homemade and seasoning was just perfect. They served so quick too. I regret we didn't come here for the last 8 years! The desserts weren't so great so we will come here just for main next time.

My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary here and we were absolutely blown away! From the service to the food and the ambience, we felt like we were back in Italy. I have to say we had a great evening! Oh and don’t forget to order the tiramisù!

Really delicious Italian pizza and lovely warm seating in the conservatory part at the front. Nice to watch the world go by while having a slow lunch with a beer. Will definitely go back.

Always check the sum on the card reader before handing over your card for contactless payment! My bill was supposed to be £48.90 but the waiter typed in 84.90, and tapped my card on the reader himself. I never saw the screen of the reader. It was only by chance I was looking over my bank statement a day or two after, and noticed the higher amount. I called the restaurant and their only solution was I return to the restaurant to present my card for a refund of the difference. I explained I lived 20 miles away and it's not ideal for me to return, but no other solution. Nothing offered for the inconvenience, time and fuel wasted to get a refund. Just a verbal apology. A shame because the food was good, but the service was not so good.

Wonderful food and service. Staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. Have been in a few times since I moved to the area and always look forward to a lunch or dinner here. Save room for dessert as the banoffee pie is incredible.

Had a lovely meal with family for my dad's 80th birthday just before Christmas, obviously there is a bit of a language barrier so our English humour fell on deaf ears but the food was very nice and the ambience was warm

A great local restaurant serving authentic Italian food at reasonable prices - an extensive and interesting menu

Never Again. They advertise that they close at 3.00pm. This usually means that the kitchen stops cooking at 3.00. In theory customers could walk it at 2.55 and still be able to order. Be aware, we arrived at 2.20 walked in and found a table. After a short time a waiter appeared and we asked if where we were sitting was acceptable. The response was, where you are sitting is fine, but can you manage to eat and finish by 3.00? What a welcome! That and the “heavy mob” smoking and gathered outside the side of the building and very average food, spaghetti carbonara had absolutely no flavour at all means we won’t return. We used to go there regularly when it was Valentinos. But what a terrible difference. We will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone

Love the cozy atmosphere, very authentic Italian taste. However the waiter was rushing us to order, didn't give us enough time and insisted everybody orders at once while we were waiting for friends to join.

Went when the sun was shining and they had the front opened up, perfect. Great and quick food, good with kids which attracts a lot of families early evening.

The food here is outstanding. The staff are lovely and just the right amount of attentive.

Super food and wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble, including making some plain spaghetti after my fussy five year decided she didn’t like (the delicious) carbonara after all. All staff were very friendly and obliging, particularly Koli, who couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. The food (three pasta dishes and one pizza) was second to none and the mango sorbet was enjoyed by all, including the fussy five year old. The limoncello in frozen shot glasses at the end was the perfect way to complete the wonderful meal.

Went for a birthday dinner, the restaurant had clearly over booked with 2 other large parties and it showed. Rushed with orders, dishes and accompaniment selections not offered. Mussels smelt odd and suspected had been pre-cooked and my carbonara was flavourless despite a surplus of what looked like boiled bacon. We didn't complain as we didn't want to make a fuss at a party however the waiter insisted on taking them back to the kitchen to discuss with the chef. Not great then when he came back to say they had decided not to take the meals off the bill. No reason but the whole thing was strange. Pizzas looked great though so maybe the way to go....

Big mistake going there! Spaghetti Bol was disgusting and more like out of a cheap jar. Garlic cheese bread soggy. Carbonara wasn’t nice. I was embarrassed that I left most of it so tried to cover with a serviette but the manager noticed and asked me what was wrong so I told him and asked for the bill. He offered Limoncello which we declined! He brought the bill and we paid in full. He apologised as we went out the door. Wont be going back!

Very nice place to eat. Have only ever sat in the restaurant but it also has a really nice conservatory on the front overlooking the street. Food has always been excellent and staff are very helpful. I love the calzone. My only slight issue was on our last visit the apple pie was out of stock but that was probably for the better given the pizzas are more than enough for one.

I have liked the resturant very much, the food always very good, but the last time I attended on the 16th December 2021 I had the most awful salad, chicken strips were hard asvrock hard a s 9as hard as rock

Very quiet during the week. Dishes were tasty and came fast. The waiters were very kind and looking after us all night. Will come back!
